On another matter, I took a quick look at the Aeolipiles we can make and there are possibilities for profit if the QM lets us go in that direction. The first thing is that they can be a lot smaller than 'traditional' steam engines even if they probably don't produce as much horse power and likely use up their water faster. Well unless we design a way to capture/condense the escaping steam and put it back into the system.

On the other hand, it might be something novel we can sell to the wealthy. Adjust the design for slower rotation and larger volume while giving the option to add tiny drops of scented oils etc and you'd got a fancy Aromatherapy contraption.

It's a toy.

The useful part is that it represents our first step on the path to an actual useful steam engine.
