[X] Prioritise the debris, where you know there's an active threat, letting the wider area scan come in more slowly

[X] Prioritise broadening the ship's observable area to locate the enemy's ship and additional threats, relying in part on Perbeck's scan data for improving the imaging of the debris and the enemy mecha

The mech jock can handle herself for a bit. While our battered hull is unlikely to survive an attack we don't see coming.

When it comes to Mazlo. it just might be better to turn a cheek at his actions and then prove ourselves by successfully doing our jobs well. And thereby proving to him that for all his bluster and talk he is nothing to us other than a step stone to our goals. What ever they may be. After all if we are lucky we may have his job someday while he gets killed or kicked upstairs.

We've already noted in-character that the mech's data is a lot better than it used to be (so fixing it up so quick was a good call), so we should be able ot get away with this.

Mazlo stealing credit is annoying but as long as we get off his shit list and stops the drama... I don't have high hopes after he was a petty shit going about it but as a goodwill gesture I can deal with it.

Guys, can you chill regarding Mazlo? I get it being irritating but this is basically petty office politics and he's the irritating co-worker nobody likes. That's no real reason to arrange for him to get injured out of spite.

I misread this as "petty officer politics" and found this terrible, non-existent naval pun much funnier than I had any right to.

Nice update. Mazlo sucks, but watcha gonna do. At least we know it for sure, now.

As has been pointed out by my fellows, Perbeck's scan data is going to be a hell of a lot more useful now than it was before.

With regards to Mazlo, I figure we can let his antics go another once or twice, and if he still steals credit for our work go to a higher officer during downtime. Once is meh, two or three times is a pattern.
