I agree with RYNO, newbie Reo is nice to see. Reminds me of how new all us players were way back when. But now we have experience, so worry not Reo! You shall only die 12-13 times! This I swear on my honor as a dragon!

Finally! I caught up! Glad to join on the The Oldman train!

Welcome to Tatsumi Port Island. The Oldman extends his heartfelt greetings. First, please put yourself at ease.

Sadly, he has hit a slump and decided to work on a rewrite of the earlier parts of the quest, although he feels certain that he should overcome it fairly soon.

The dificulty is far too great to describe in a word. As they say in the vernacular of The Oldman's people, you will need to "git gud".

Naw, just jokin. (On the last one, at least.)
But seriously, hey! Welcome.
I didn't know this quest was popular enough to be called a train! Where did you find about it? Did you click on my signature or have I...*gasp* become popular?

Really, I'm curious as to how people get into my quest.

Eh, I was doing my own persona quest (12 pages Wo!) when on a whim I decided to click on the persona tag and found this quest. At least that's how my unreliable memory puts it.

I see, it was on a whim.
Hmm...I've much work to do if I want to get more people here, it seems. I should start by getting out of my slump and getting back to writting new updates. With the new systems everything should flow far more smoothly than it did before. Once I get back into the game, I hope people start to flow in.

Rewrite update 2
Thus comes the second update
I couldn't help but giggle like a schoolgirl at the "end of the world", "doomsday cult" and "suicide pact" parts. They just crack me up!

On another note, do you think I should include honorifics and the term Senpai or not? I'm not sure it fits my writing style, really.

On another, nother note! I want to host a succession style let's play of Terraria, but can't find anyone interested in it. Is there any recruitment thread for games like there are for roleplays and quests? Or is it just that no one likes terraria in SV?

Not really, since those are Japanese terms and shoving Japanese stuff into English tends to mangle shit.

Also I was about to sleep when you posted this. You should be ashamed of yourself for adding to my sleep deprivation problems. :V

(Also I haven't seen you in quite a while. Anything happening?)

On one hand, that's true.
On the other hand, it does help to emphasize that it IS set in Japan.

I recommend only using those japanese terms if they're used in isolation.
Like, no "Bob-Sempai", just "Sempai". Suffixes are weird in English, but they can be important in understanding how people view each other in relation to themselves, or how they want other people to think they think of other people.

On one hand, bobbannanaville made a good point. It helps to establish that we're in Japan.

On the other hand, a part of me dies on the inside when I hear an honorific in English.

If you can type Oldman-san-kun-chan-sempai-kouhai-sama-domo-origato-Mr.-Roboto without cringing, then go for the honorifics.

Also, what's Terraria? Isn't that a pixel-styled game?

Emphasis on DEADLY. Making a machine capable of killing all bossess one after another and effectively beat the game in only a single click is pretty damn impressive :V

That sounds cheap as fuck. I like it.

Also there have been interesting things happening at Fate/Off the Rails. Not that I'm forcing you or anything. Take your time.
