Fuck Genjis. There was a Genji that I swear had a vendetta against Mercy that was continuously coming after me the entire game. It was the worst game I've had in a while, between that and my dipshit team not understanding that I was able to support a push with Resurrect and being a bunch of pansies.
God, nobody is willing to die sometimes. Like, we had this one Junkrat, who I ceded to the position to because he chose it first and what not, and he just let the enemy control the point while he lobbed grenades over a wall trying to get a blind kill. Even when we pushed he didn't goddamn move. I've never hated a player more, weirdly enough.

So playing as Ana, my effectiveness with her dramatically rose when I realized that her sniper rifle has an automatic trigger (and most of the weapons in game).

Also, putting Bastions to sleep with a tranquilizer and getting an elimination doing so is sweet :D

Abilities also have automatic triggers. This is useful if you're stunned and want to ice block/wraith form out of there the instant your stun ends. IIRC you can also hook someone as roadhog and hold left click to shoot the instant the hook animation ends.

Man, less and less people are playing Bastion these days. When the game first started, there were so many Bastions I could play Genji and still do decently because of deflecting them, despite being terrible at flanking. It's why I had the most hours on Genji even though i'm shit at him.

Now, i'm still shit at Genji and the Bastion players all got good, so I can't just depend on deflect anymore.

My most played now is D.va, but i've been losing so much that i decided to switch to Soldier, despite hardly touching him before. I'm honestly surprised that Soldier can hurt Road hog so much at range.

Yeah, I've started using Soldier as my main Offense hero alongside Tracer (I've trained myself to main at least one Hero per class so I can go into any situation ready to go). He's not a flashy hero compared to the others but if you're halfway decent with him he rewards you with consistent results. Boring but Practical as TV Tropes says.

i get the sense she'd secretly enjoy torbjorn's suffering, even if she would feel bad for doing so.

Apparently Blizzard quietly rolled out 60 tick servers, so 'favor the shooter' should be reduced now.

If you're on PC, Ctrl+Shift+N opens up the netgraph, PPS In is the tick rate and used to be 20, it should show 60 now.

holy shit, it can do THAT?

I always wondered how they do that(I hook then take the shot, didn't realized I could actually hold it.)

yes.

Almost everything can be triggered faster by holding down the button. However keep it mind that virtually everything has a cooldown that must expire before it will be triggered.

For example no matter what you do, you can't speed the reload (which has a cooldown in the background) of weapons by animation cancelling (via quick melee).

I thought only reaper could do it?

He can't.

Basically as far as anyone can tell, almost everything from shooting to reloads to skills has a cooldown before something happens. Reaper and genji have proven that no matter what you do, no form of animation cancelling actually changes the time it takes when you reload to when you next fire a shot. What animation cancelling does is allow you to add extra stuff (typically more attacks) in the down time between reloading and firing or to take advantages of oddities in the attack animation*.

*For example Reinhart has a knocback based on his swing direction, by cancelling the animation via releasing LMB, you can consistently get him to swing from right to left and push people in your this direction.

I notice that as I get closer and closer to my goal of earning a golden weapon from end of season bonuses (just need two more victories), the matchmaking seems more and more hellish to make sure I don't actually get there.

It's actually starting to make me super mad. :V
