I have to credit Blizzard for doing a little more thinking about the backstory in Overwatch; the 'backstory' in TF2, by comparison, is really just a long trail of people at Valve saying "Hey, you know what'd be funny?"

That's not necessarily a bad thing. TF2 came from a different time, almost, Jesus, a decade ago. It's characters were pretty much just jokes in the psychotic protagonist mold but that was all they needed to be.

With Overwatch Blizzard has said, without ever actually saying at all, that is to say in heads of their fans, due to how they were presented, that the characters will have more, well, character.

It's a higher target to aim for but an easier one to miss.

Apparently with the right timing Ana can land her sleep dart on the Brawl bosses and interrupt their entrances.

Video jerkiness attributed to the user's ShadowPlay.

Rogue wins the APAC Premier (Chinese tournament, 6 CN teams, 2 Korean teams, 2 Japanese, 1 NA, 1 EU), defeating both Korean teams on their way to the final in the playoffs stage. They had lost twice to Lunatic Hai in the group stages (Group B was clearly the strongest / hardest group; once to get knocked down to loser's bracket, once to determine seeding from group) so were matched up against AF Blue, who IIRC, was the top seed from their group. After summarily dispatching a CN team in the semis, they met up with Lunatic Hai, who had defeated NRG 3-1, again in the finals and won 4-1.

Sort of like their OW Open win actually. IIRC, they lost to Reunited in group stage but secured their spot out of it as 2nd seed and beat Reunited in the finals.

TVIQ played pretty smashing in the final series.

On that note.

NA where we produced one good team and a bunch of ok ones. And McHammer is the most popular hero.

Wonder how the average player skill stacks up server to server?

The North America pro teams aren't that great. We have one tier one that dominates the continent but Europe has a lot of teams on that level.

McHammer because Mcree and fan the hammer

Ok Blizzard can you just do all future hero releases like Ana?

This is getting really dumb now.
