No connections with Saito's Earth have been shown. Thus, by the law of plot conservation, Saito showing up is roughly as plausible as an imperial star destroyer showing up.

However, it should be noted that this fusion is a comedy, and Satio is unfunny while an imperial start destroyer has the potential for some hilarity. Thus, by the laws of comedy, Saito has a lower probability of showing up than an imperial star destroyer.
I can't help but picture Eleanor as the commander of the Star Destroyer... and I have no idea why.

Nah, "dungeon" is properly Evil language for a big underground base. I think.

The Abyss is not a nice place. It has all the worst aspects of modernism thrown in with some good old fashioned hell symbolism. It's a cruel, inhuman, vindictive environment, and to be honest Jessica and Izah'belya are both victims of their society. Jessica is an outsider, and the only way she's found respect is by attaching herself to outsiders (because, socially, there's a niche for people like her there), and Izah'belya is in the system and gets the benefits in return for being trapped in an abusive set-up where her mother [1] sets all her daughters against each other so none of them have time to eye up her throne. She can't ever show weakness, and if any of her and her half-sisters look like they're getting too attached to each other, their mother sets them against each other directly.
So... pretty much exactly like the real world, only with a bit more magic and a lot more self-awareness? :p

On a different topic, I do look forward to the assortment of horrified realizations on the day when Kirche and Izah'belya meet.

And would Karin actually work against her daughter the Overlady now that said daughter has the backing of the legitimate ruler of the nation? I mean, as long as that ruler has not herself fallen into depravity and Evil, it presumably isn't a Good action to rebel against rightful authority.

At the very least, given that she's kept her vampire daughter around for years despite the many, many practical and ethical issues this causes for someone attempting to remain Good, I have to imagine that Karin would be looking for any justification that lets her not have to kill her Overlady daughter simply because of some sort of required conflict of Morality.

Her vampire daughter wasn't attacking the nation, murdering people and kidnapping royalty.

I think that when all the shards are recovered, at the sam time, the tower will be finally rebuilt.
...
...
...Wait, now that I remember, Louise doesn't want a tower.
Anyways, When will Louise finally go off the deep end and go Evil Rampaging Overlady on Halkeginia? I have an vague idea of how could happen.
Given the levels of symbolism inherent in the fic, it isn't a surprise that Louise wouldn't have a Tower, but a Dungeon, instead: She's an Overlady, rather than an Overlord.

Isn't Queen Marianne still the rightful ruler?
I'm pretty sure, no. While the Crown Matrimonial is a thing, it's not common for rulers to just hand it out to their consorts. I'm pretty sure Marianne is officially ruling as Henrietta's Regent, which makes the current situation a huge conflict of interest for her. Generally speaking, such conflicts of interest usually end with the Regent beheaded no matter who wins.

A dungeon is just a tower that's upside down.

I'm wondering if Louise will get that minion hive working. I'd like to se the Black Minions in action.
Why? It already works.

Oh, you mean producing Minions that don't explode within seconds of being born, or are horrific abominations of Nature.

Right, might need some work.

Haha, you're right. But I was thinking of something like a series of events that drive Louise to the edge. Like Karin discovering she's the Overlady and being hunted by her. And during a boss battle, Cattleya (God forbid it) is killed...
...Anyways, everything depends on Earth Scorpion.
But.. Cattleya can't be killed, not permanently, at least. Depending on how many pieces she's blown into and how much blood is available it could take her as long as a few years to regenerate to the point where she's mobile, but as a vampire it is extremely difficult to kill her on a truly permanent basis unless the killer is specifically equipped to perma-kill vampires.

If Louise can get her minion hive working, could we see some sort of rivalry between the normal dumb Minions and the more capable Black Minions?
Who says they're actually going to be more capable? For all we - and Louise - know, they may make normal Minions look like fucking geniuses.

Louise: ... How is that possible!?!

Henrieta: Easily it seems.

Certainly, from observed evidence, they're even worse than Reds at not blowing themselves up. How smart can something which has a lifespan measured in seconds really be?

Also, Reds can be revived when they blow themselves up.

Each minion breed seems to have a specific area of... for lack of a better word I'm going to say "competence". Browns are physically strongest and toughest. Blues have good defensive magic, and reds have good offensive magic. Greens are good for stealth and burst damage. I haven't played the first Overlord game, but in the second, you almost always want a mixture of the available breeds. It seems like it would be unbalancing for the new breed to overlap too much with the other breeds' areas of expertise, but I'm having trouble imagining a niche that isn't already filled.
Brains. The other breeds are worse then warhammer orkz.
