Like, the point still stands, you don't quell a race riot by confirming their bullshit. Doesn't change because you tack some other scapegoat at the end, you're still confirming their bullshit.

Dear comrades of Georgia, I share in your grief for it is a shame when a child of Georgia must perish. I share in your grief for I too am a man of Georgia with a love for its people. I too weep for these lost sons who were hung.
However, I am a man of Georgia and it is for this that I acknowledge that these men needed to hang. It was needed not because the Indian is barbarous nor needlessly cruel. It was needed not because we were cheated and they saught to correct matters. It was needed not because they are martyrs.
They needed perish because they had committed acts of murder and sabotage akin to the Sons of Liberty. These malcontents had seen the dealings of the crown through Georgia and whether with malice or ignorance saw to pursue sabotage against the colony and crown. In their malcontentment they dared not ask what had truly occured nor did they seek petition and debate as we the proper and civilized must but they rode out to burn housing and attempt the murder of women and children to instigate tension with an ally.
Through Georgia a deal was made ending years long dispute with the creek and Cherokee with land concessions. These men claimed that these land concessions were the worst of land thus thebindinas must suffer but it is not and for that they do not. It may have been preferable that they had conceeded land of greater quality but as survey failed it was accepted that the concession was minor before peace for this was the aim of the deal. That children of the crown need not die in senseless conflict with the Indian just as theirs shan't perish in conflict with the crown and that we may better integrate for future relations.
Thus the crown had saught ally and for meaningless dirt concession these men saught to sabotage it. It was there men who saught to destroy the hard work of the Georgian people and harm the word of the crown.
Then we reach the trial held and observed with Georgian barrister they were given representation. Being a matter between people's they were tried in a neutral territory with observers of the aggrieved so as to assure the goodness of the crown. Thus they were tried properly and judges by our laws and theirs to be for the hanging and thus hung they were.
This is not a triumph, this is not a victory. This is a sad necessity that such measures needed to be met to these children of Georgia. In the end there is no easy blame. One could try blame the Indian as many of you do but they were tried with Georgian assent and would have met a hanging in our court just as the neutral ground. One could blame the crown for failing to inform the people but this is no cause to murder and greivances as such have civilized channels for resolving, one may even blame the surveyor for removing us of the ability to pick choicer concession but it is meaningless.
I truly wish to blame one man and one cause. I wish I had an easy target that we could together rage against but there is none. There is no satisfying end, merely sad necessity.
Finally, there are some who are attempting to make these lost men Martyrs to rally hatred; Don't. Do not use this tragedy for hatred, neither the colony of Georgia nor the crown hold dispute with the creek and Cherokee and to prosecute as such is sabotage against the colony. The land concessions were made with full knowledge on both parties that we would not receive the best of land and indeed it is not centerfold but a minor facet of the deal.
So people of Georgia I ask of you, cease and desist. There are proper means to address greivances and it is not rioting, it is not tearing the colony apart, it is not squandering the value of the sturggles to come where we are and our potential to reach further.
