Oglethorpe's dream: A Colony of Georgia quest

Oh man i hope this pans out. Note the Grand employment plan is not an order but a organizer.

[X] Plan Money
-[x] Forts: Built a harbor and a fort on Sapelo island. This location is designated milita zone for naval milita's use. Ossabaw island fort will be considered next year.
-[x] Grand employment plan: Georgia recognizes the lack of labor the farming communities faced and prepared a bold plan to make up the shortfall.
--[x] Paid migrations: Town criers will be hired in London, England, to let the poor and unemployed know province of Georgia have plenty of opportunities and food for hard workers. Anyone willing to sign on government referred jobs for 3 years will have their ship ticket paid for with 1 month room and board.
--[x] Send letters to the business communities in England to import Georgian goods and setup workshops in Georgian towns. Georgia is the gate to inner communities in the Americas, and those communities wants to buy everything from workshops and factory.
--[x] Petition to the English government to help promote English Georgian goods in the old world and everywhere else. Government of Georgia will even fund a modest granary in London for 2 years filled with Georgian goods to show how good they are. (Stock will be replenished once a year, London will provide the use of land and waive any and all tax associated with the building.)
-[x] Place a order of merchant ships with Georgian arsenal, Georgia government is supportive of local ship building. These ships will be rented out to the charter companies then the open market.
-[x] Continue to negotiate trade stuff with our surrounding neighbors.
-[x] Encourage shipping companies to sell Georgian goods aboard, allow them tax discount if they secure long term contracts favorable to Georgian people.
-[x] Review tax codes and accounting books to close any loopholes.
-[x] Begin a 10 year plan of buying bricks for cities to have 1 paved brick road to act as fire stop and regular use. The road have to be width of 5 horses.

[X] Plan High-Rolling Farmer, Please!
-[X] Forts: Begin Construction plans on naval forts for our patrol boats
-[X] Food experimentation 1: With what seem like endless grain, begin turning this 'raw,' food into... other delicious stuff. Preferably, something we can sell abroad and will not expire on the way.
-[X] Food Experiment 2, Hard Tack: In conjunction with the cooking experiments but also independent of, find a way to make a more delicious hard tack for sailors.
-[X] Food Experiment 3, Storage: Find a better way to store all this surplus than the granary system. Maybe, spices are the answer?
-[X] Local Navy: How go the patrols, and moreover, how is the Ship from South Carolina?
-[X] Maps: Finance local cartographers to map the terrain of Georgia.
-[X] Firefighters: It's been some time, and may no longer be an issue, but determine the conditions on the Fire-Fighter departments.
-[X] Library: Search for the latest works of fiction or philosophy to add to the library. Give people something to read.
-[X] Gossip in the North: Find out the latest rumors or newspaper articles from New Jersey New England Region.
-[X] Gossip in the South: Find out the latest rumors from the Spanish held territories.
-[X] Art Contest: Hold a minor, state-wide contest on from amateur artist residing in the state. Nothing says a good civilization but art!

Many food experiments to leverage our farmers, gossip chasing to learn what's going on beyond the borders, and the art thing to distract from bad rolls.

-[x] Order cities to start paving their roads with bricks and stones. This will help deal with mud seasons, speed up trade, and act as fire stop when cities catch fire again.
I hate being that QM...who am I kidding I love being that QM but how will the local governments pay for this I mean the costal counties and the counties bordering the Savannah River could afford to do this but the inland counties are poor.

[X] Plan High-Rolling Farmer, Please!

Can't wait to see what crit fails next! :V

To be serious for a second, I would like to start developing a regional cuisine and start using it to attract tourists and future residents.

You know, plan Money has us be reliant on the Homeland for success, but would it not be better to make our own success? We already have success in farming, so we should leverage that success, ie surplus of food, into profit which my plan attempts.

I'm buttering up hom land so we can snap up hi-tech when they become available. Rails and steam engines yo. Also sucking up population.

We already have great relations even if it's not mentioned often. They lifted the ban on mercantilism, so we can already trade with whoever. It just we don't because we focus on internal developments.

Plan Money wins!

Uhh.... it's either there are more loopholes in taxes or something went so awry that the tax issue was tabled in parliament. I hope it was the second one. Trade with our fellow provinces are still horrible and I do hope that we have more people coming to Georgia.
