What do you mean? I only had Link switch to brute force when he got his hand on the claymore which is a brute force weapon (at least in the game), every other time he was aiming for gaps and weak points in the armour. I'm not sure what you mean by making him more of a skill fighter?
I think it might have to do with your words choice. You use term like hacking, which to me suggest a lot of brute force. You also mention a lot of forcefully cutting through armour, which again would require more brute force then anything. If he was aiming for weak spots in the armour you didn't really make that clear, at least for me.

Okay, let this be a lessen that we shouldn't underestimate the Imperial Army. Those Golems were less T-800 and more B1, which is nice, but we still can't take them on 3 to 50 and expect to not get badly wrecked. We can't keep pulling off these kinds of lopsided battles and expect to survive, and we especially shouldn't try to take on anything resembling the enemy elites at this stage. If we see a Darknut we need to go.

We also need higher quality weapons than the sort of sword typically used by the Empire's common soldiers. Ditto for defenses.

We have no supplies, bleeding out and are basically crippled unless we get healing from Mipha (if she can).

We need to get her attention.

We have something like that through our hand and are losing quite a bit of blood.

We need to get Mipha's attention.

Well rode here on horses loaded with traveling supplies and food.

So yes we do have supplies.

We got stabbed in the gut with a spear; that's where we are losing most of the blood.

Crossbow bolts basically crippled Link's left arm until we get it healed so scavenging is kinda outside our capabilities at the moment.
Our leg wounds aren't our worst injury; we got stabbed in the gut with a spear.

I don't doubt Mipha can heal us but we're kinda limited in our capabilities at the moment beyond standing awkwardly, limping over to Zelda or having a one-sided conversation with Mipha until she finishes stuffing her face.

The spear hit our armor and did not penetrate, chances of nasty
Bruise and maybe a cracked rib but we shouldn't be bleading out.

While I'm not making any comments on specific votes you do realize you have way more injuries than just bolts in you, right? So do the others.

Could we get some clarification?

You ended the last post with the super healer eating food due to being starved and saying she would heal us in a minute.

Just about any first aid will take longer to do than just letting her finish eating and get healing.

Is she going to heal us or not?

Did I miss something? I thought that it was implied that the plague was somewhat mystical in nature?
It's a repeat of Latin American story (IDK if @ImmortalsBlade did it on purpose or wha, but if so, kudos) what grinded down the numbers of the natives weren't the spanish conquerors (they did play a part) but it was mostly the diseases they brought from over seas that the people over here had absolutely no defense to.

There's also the possibility that the Empire or even the Yiga spread the disease delibrately in order to weaken Hyrule.

I know I keep beating the germ warfare drum, but its horribly plausible.

We were using Link's spin attack a lot and the golems are basically the cannon fodder enemy that dies in one hit.

The two of you continued on in silence. Eventually the roads became so muddy it was dangerous to continue on horse, both of them beginning to sink. You both get off your horses and lead them off the road. Thankfully there was a grassy hill that was well secluded. You doubt anyone other than you and Zelda would find your horses and Epona was well trained to keep Zelda's horse from wandering off. Getting packs out you fill them with what meager supplies you have left you hand one to Zelda and the two of you begin your long and arduous trek.
The sun had almost set by the time the two of you got to the shrine, the swamp getting worse with every step. Any dry clothes in your pack was a dream, and your food was most assuredly now mostly marsh water.
We did not and we do not.

Bruise and maybe a cracked rib but we shouldn't be bleading out.
Another golem lunges with a spear, and you bite back a hiss of pain as you sidestep the spear as it digs into your side through the mail before being off wrenched free by your movement.
your side was bleeding noticeably and you were sure you had bruises where your armour had stopped sword slashes.
It did penetrate.

Anyway, we're kinda limited in what we can do right now so can we please go over to Zelda and try to snap her out of it?

You ditched the horses last update and whatever supplies you carried with you got soaked with swamp water.

I explicitly wrote it tore through the chain.

She is, but maybe you guys should pay attention to the state the characters are in before voting to start running around.

Actually partly a reference to the Cholera pandemics and the sanitary movement. Was tempted to have a character named John Snow show up. :V

I am severely reminded of the magitech soldiers from ff15.

Dumb golems with a few humans in charge.
Blood / body evaporates when exposed to air leaving empty armor behind.
Never ending swarm of monsters around the world.

I think someone in the Empire is a bad boy.

We need to comfort Zelda, not bleed out, and get Mipha's attention on making sure her newfound allies don't die on her from wounds. After that we loot the battlefield and do other stuff. Supplies. Food. Figuring that out is probably our next challenge.

Self, then her, then LOOT.

[x] Perform first aid on ourselves
-[x] Mention that we could cook some food to Mipha
-[x] Then try and snap Zelda out of it
-[x] Now scavenge as much as possible from the dead bodies.

Guy's this is all we can really do right now:

[] Go over to Zelda and move between her and the corpse to break eye contact.
-[]Try to comfort her and remind her that her friend's alive.

Our options are pretty limited considering the extent of our injuries so this is all we can really do at the moment.

...Jesus Mipha must've been starving.

I think we should promise to get Mipha more food.
Maybe cook it?
Unless we raid imperial supplies our food situation looks pretty bleak.
Self, then her, then LOOT.
We have nothing to do first aid with; we're soaked in swamp water.

Also, our injuries currently prevent looting.

Zora prefer to eat their food raw. Occasionally when it's still alive.
Oh.
I thought she was just desperate.

Oh and Zelda will be totally ok with seeing us injured?
We need to be healed before we can go near her.

So how do you intend to snap Zelda out of her shock exactly?
Hmm... just got out of probably her very first fight against other senitents.
Appeal to survival.
[X] First Aid on self.
-[X] Snap Zelda out of her shock. "It was either them or us. The fact that you're hurting proves you aren't a monster."
--[X] Proceed to loot. Keep an eye on her.

What's everyone think of this:

[x] Mipha said she'd check on you in a minute, right? Check your injuries in the meantime, make it as easy as possible for her.
-[x] When you're better - make sure to thank Mipha for it - go and gently shake Zelda awake.
-[x] Then it's time to loot the battlefield.
