[X] Stop Caius from harming them any further.
-[X] Make sure Caius knows that if the fool tries something, that he has permission to make the assassin wish he was dead.
"Caius." you greeted the hunter, he nodded in greeting from his seat, next to a door. "Has there been any trouble?"
"Not a sound from your guest." Caius told you as he reached for an object wrapped in cloth. He tossed it to you. "An interesting weapon, I am unable to cut anything with it." you caught it as Caius got up from his seat. "You wanted to be alone for this?" he asked as you walked towards the door.
Your hand stopped on the handle as you looked back towards him. "I don't have anything to fear, I appreciate what you do Caius, but I must speak with this assassin myself." a sigh escaped your lips. "Maybe I can figure out who sent them after me and why." you opened the door.
"I'll be here." you heard Caius remark as you shut the door.
-
The room was dimly lit as you entered, the pattering of the rain outside was the only break in the silence as your sight sought the person that attacked you.
You watched as she observed a flower that was in her hand, one from the vase in the room. She sat quietly on the only bed in the room. Her face was solemn, a small curiosity shined in her eyes. "Why did you try to claim my life?" you demanded from the woman, she donned some bandages but it seemed Albus and Anna were able to patch her up well enough.
She seemed startled by your voice as the flower slipped from her hand. You observed as her attention was drawn to you. The young woman's hair was long and a peculiar shade of blue. Her eyes were of a similar color, though one of her eyes held a strange marking in it if you looked closely. You've seen the symbol before but couldn't place where.
"I don't know..." she said with certainty, but you weren't sure if you could believe her. "I don't know who you are."
"Do you take me for an idiot?" you asked as you unwrapped the cloth that bound the sword she carried. "You wanted to end my life with this." you said as the blade was brought to bear.
Her attention was caught by the blade, her brows furrowed in concentration, it was as if she saw it for the first time. Something was off, and you took quick notice of it. "You're crying." she heard you state your observation, surprised.
The young woman's face showed no signs of sadness. She touched the tears that rolled down her face. "I feel as if I've lost something important, something too important to lose." her long hair swayed gently as she stood up. "What a peculiar feeling." she remarked as she stared at her damp fingers. You had no idea what to do, this woman was an enemy to you. Though it seemed she didn't remember anything.
Your feet led you closer to the amnesiac. You brought the tip of her sword to her throat, a small drop of blood rolled down as you held the weapon in place, Caius said it was dull, but it seemed sharp enough in your possession. It would be so easy to get rid of her, she was another obstacle thrown in your path. The question still remains, would you do it? If she really had no memories, it's as if she was born again. To snuff the flames of someone who had just become aware of the world almost seemed more sinful.
"Will you kill me?" she asked with curiosity, her eyes met yours. It unnerved you how reserved she was, almost
accepting of her fate.
"I..." you decided on what you wanted to do.
[ ] You would, she wasn't worth the trouble.
[ ] You wouldn't do it, everyone deserved a second chance.
