[X] Plan Building a Local Base of Power
[X] Plan: disregard empire, acquire bote

Both of these plans seem good. Narr doesn't seem like a particularly dangerous opponent and the amount of influence anyone on Coruscant has over the rest of the Empire is going to decrease rapidly over the following months.

Either way, we gain triangle

Plan: You and What Navy?

-[X] Regain command of missing Naval Squadrons.
-[x] A number of squadrons of Bormea Sector's Support Fleet in Corulag have joined Vaere.
-[x] Someone in Coruscant's upper levels takes a disapproving interest in Vaere's decisive actions.
-[x] Agent Narr Becomes suspicious of Admiral Vaere's loyalties

Acquire boat, piss off imperials leave Snoops as a wild card who can be coopted or removed at a later date.

Both plans help us with maintenance and logistics. In the first one it's in the form of a friendly planet to resupply from, while in the second it's from an ordinance fleet.

I can understand the desire to cast all the other Imps to the wind...but I don't think it's time to go full tilt warlord just yet.

"I CAN RULE ALONE" has disadvantages to it. Namely, someone like Grand Admiral Grunger is liable to show up with an Executor-class Star Dreadnought and show us that no one actually rules alone.

The greatest number of ships we can scrape together at short notice is a moderate size fleet half composed of refurbished Clone Wars surplus. The true heavy hitter warlords will be in a much better position to rule alone than us. And even they have to worry about Imperial Centre and other high tier warlords.

Who's going warlord?

I'm just voting to ensure the biggest transfer of war material to the new Republic possible.

The problems of having people in power out to get us are what I was looking for. Makes things interesting.

TBH I'm sceptical that the New Republic will want to allow our protagonist to join without giving up her position and most of her men and material.

And I don't see our protagonist as willing to countenance that. Crix Madine was willing to throw himself on the Rebellion's mercy, then work his way up and prove himself. But we're not Crix Madine.

(Also, if Admiral Ackbar were to show up were, I rather doubt he'd show us any mercy. The poor guy was literally Tarkin's personal slave at one point.)

Our win condition isn't outright absconding and joining the NR. The time for that has passed. At this stage, we'd quite rightly be decried as a turncoat without a shred of loyalty to anything by both Imperials and Rebels. (Which might be true, but it's important to not be seen as such. :V) Our win condition is becoming just big enough of a local power to become a problem for the New Republic - someone who they have to begrudgingly come to the negotiating table for because they want to save their strength for other, more overtly monstrous warlords.
