Matter of Faith (BTVS / OC)

All right, this update technically had the following vote win when I started this:
[X] Check up on Faith for a bit. Her father's is suspiciously psycho and disturbing.
-[X] Also point out that we're taking tutoring from Jet if she want's to join next week.

Now here's the thing about Faith. She reacts badly to hands offered in friendship. She's not as bad as she got, but she's been betrayed more than a few times. This would have gotten her pissed. However, I like discussion in my quests. I like people trying to figure out things, and someone brought up this particular factoid. And this vote came about:
Yay, I actually called that.

So, quick question. How do we get to school? Bus? Do we walk there? Get a lift from someone? How long does it take?

Hmmm, have we experimented with using our powers to heal ourself after we work out?

Well that works!

So... what'd be the effects of losing sleep?
Would our healing work on it?

What are your plans?

[X] Lose a few nights sleep.
- [X] Probably best to wait for the weekend or something though. Don't want to crash and burn under the load.

How notable is our healing?
If we heal ourselves, would regular people notice?

Also, glad my vote worked out.

Presumably depends on how injured we are and where we do it.

I mean, if it's just something like we are tired from working out and we do it in an empty bathroom, unless the thing is just amazingly loud and bright, enough to be heard and seen through walls, we should be safe.

Healing yourself after you work out makes you feel slightly better. It's a wound curer, not a fatigue remover.
What is our attendance record like? Can we afford to take a day off, or would that be risky?
You could miss a day or two pretty easily. It's a bad habit to get into though.

Your healing is semi notable. If you don't play up the initial wound people will just gloss it over. Casting it is pretty visible though.

Guys, the weekend is our deadline, do you expect to find a vampire in two days?
And will we show Faith our toddler-sized spike covered mallet wreathed in holy fire or will we just use a sledgehammer?

Okay, so wait, does it heal our muscles, thus making us get the benefits of a work out sooner and let us start exercising again sooner instead of having to wait a few days for our body to heal, or does it just not actually help?

I'm fine with us still being tired, that makes sense, healing damage is not the same as clearing away a buildup of lactic acid or giving us back our spent energy and calories after all. I just want to know if it will decrease the amount of time we have to spend resting in between exercising the same muscle groups.

Astral's handling that off screen. You don't need to worry about it.

I don't think we are in Sunnyvale, and aren't we looking for a specific one?
What do our actual schedule look like?

Cleanse is for poisons and curses and the like.
Would that help with dealing with fatigue from workouts?

Obviously not entirely, it wouldn't solve our altered breathing or increased blood flow or replenish the calories and energy we spent, but would that help clear away the lactic acid build up that makes fatigue that much worse?

Awesome, good to know. Makes sense, he should know more about how exercising works then most of us do after all.

Your standard schedule is school > Workout > Tutoring > Swording with Faith the entire week.

Except for Friday, when Faith hits up the party house and goes until she can't anymore. Which is usually until Sunday.

Saturday and Sunday you have free usually. Jet has his gaming things to keep him occupied, and they are your rest days.

You just need to slay a vampire/demon for your quest.
