Magic Knight Quest (Surprise, you are a Harem Hero now, SV)

[X] "He talks about death and sacrifice so much, what about living and succeeding? What about doing more so that none of us die next time?"

Still, if a typical shonen hero thinks he can take on the cruel reality even though he doesn't have powers, what makes him different compared to Celica? Logically, a person with powers may fare better than the one who is without them.

Thaaaaaat would be where the second part of yon responded-to quote kicks in, sirrah. :V

Changing the topic a bit, though, is the Utena option of running for our own studen council-led world revolution possible somewhere down the line? :3

[X] I understand its a tragedy for most, but well... I don't know these people. It's hard to be sad for those whom you have never met. I can respect the grief of the other students however, and I will not begrudge them for it. He also seems to have taken too much of the blame to carry upon himself. I mean it feels like he is saying that he was the only one who could have saved them, also I realized that his talks about each of the students were from his own personal interactions with them. I will let it go as I can understand what he is going through however He needs to talk to a counselor or someone about this and soon.

Is a good choice of words but we can´t be so antagonistic with him we are talking with Shirley and she is in his team that will kill the posibility of get a heart point we need to make something that sound about respect... But that have potential

We will be like the Sai Akuto if we take that path we get the girls, the power and very much the hate of all the nation. But hey we are the best Good Overlord of the world

Does this sound good guys?

I mean it feels like he is saying that he was the only one who could have saved them, like he's almost ignoring the fact that many of them made a decision to pursue this life, to stand and fight when there were people that needed protecting. I don't know what he's going through, but that he feels he must take the weight and responsibility of the world upon himself cheapens their choice. It's honestly rather sad to see, because I understand that he is trying, but for the wrong goal. He talks about death and sacrifice, when instead he could be talking about how all of us could work together to make sure such a thing never happens again. No one man can face everything alone.

Any thoughts?

[x]I'm not one for speeches. But, when did this man decide to be judge, jury, and executioner? Aren't we supposed to be a shining example to humanity, executing people who surrendered isn't right. We shouldn't sink to their level.

I am not sure Kazuto will say something that long and analytical given this is after what 5 minutes of digesting the speech. I think his response would be a lot shorter if that makes sense.

Also He is a bit of a jarring pronoun shift. You should probably use Cecil as you never mentioned Cecil or president by name in your lines once. Who does he refer to assuming we take it out of context? Although, this is a response, so mm shrug feel free to leave it as is.

Is the name Amane Yuka important? Have we heard that? Wait, it was worstgirl's friend, right? Or bestgirl's? Someone's friend died, right?

Eh might as well call him out on it. I can dig it.

I will use the speech this something charismatic and will get points with Shirley

Are you guys sure you want to call him out for being a judge, jury and executioner? The terrorists are guaranteed to be executed, it's just that Celica did it personally. Also, remember that Celica was assigned for a mission to destroy the mastermind behind the attack when we arrived at school? Why would we call him out of doing such a thing if it's his job? He even called himself the Council's lapdog, so it's just that he did the job by himself instead of having others doing it for him.

Welcome to SV, where we do not like people who we assume to be pricks. And at the moment, we assume the president to be a prick.

[X] I'm not sure... I can understand duty, I can understand courage, and I can even understand sacrifice. My older sister sacrificed herself to protect others as well. However, just because I can understand it does not mean I will accept it. Rather than a world where I have to accept that my comrades will be sacrificed to protect the world one by one. As a magic knight, I'd like to create a world where no one is sacrificed. Isn't the point of power to create a better world rather than just bearing the one we have? Protecting humanity demands that we also protect their hopes for the future and one day lead them to a world where sacrifice will no longer be necessary.

Are you sure you want to do that? I mean, there's a lesson about not making assumption during our encounter with Elisabeth. Making the same mistake may make us no different than her.

Well, we know he's planning something and will use us at our expense, possibly as a scapegoat or a source of power due to our stigma

And while I agree with you we shouldn't just assume things, Elisabeth was an unknown that was trying to kill us at the moment. Celica has clearer goals and is evidently by his tone, actions, and the expressions of Shirley and Robin that he is either a well intentioned extremist, or a full blown knight templar

Could we not be critical of the highly popular president in public. There are people who could over hear us and part of ranking up system requires people to like us.

My comrades we can´t challenge him before all the school where someone can hear our true opinion, with our popularity they will think the worst posible thing about we said and that will create rumors about our evil that will make us be something akin to the Overlord that everyone want to kill, in private we can challenge his ideal, become the oponent that someday will fight him and win destroying his plan but that will be in the future as we get our levels in Badasery

meh censorship filters on our mouth are overrated. Besides we always have plan B, Jumping the fence across the city and living as a hermit in the wild exploring the ruins of society. :p

[x]I'm not one for speeches. I barely know anybody, nor do I feel like a mage knight yet. It just felt right to pay my respects to those who lost their lives.

I felt this one was much better, and doesn't have us waxing rhetorical.
