Lord of Order

We kinda need a blessing to empower our worshippers with. It's been a bit, its getting a bit shameful to have not have rewards for even basic commitments.

FWIW, with domain of wisdom, planned +INT blessing should be easier. Or better. Or both. Should make things a little easier on the ground level, as it makes our followers more capable.

I don't think that he knows what exactly is happening, but he prolly aware that something be sus.

That diplomacy/artifact combo was something special. It was kinda touching to be able to give the Hero of Kvatch something that would help with their new... condition.

Gelebor being disappointed that these Falmer used to be the same blind savages as the rest is kinda sad but hey, it's better than what he got in canon.

Sanguine nearly ended our secrecy right then and there. Thank goodness Sheogorath is as creative as he is unhinged, though a Daedric Prince more familiar with deception like Mephala may have been able to see through it.

The current situation in Winterhold is not good but it's salvageable. It's hard enough being a Daedra worshiper when you're not being accosted by the guards every Tirdas.

Anyway, plan time.

[X] Plan Seeking Power
-[X] Seek out a champion. There are those among the mortals who realize the need for order. Seek one out to act as your agent, to go and do what dyus cannot. Recruiting them may prove challenging, especially without an artifact to tempt them and offer in exchange. DC60
--[X] Offer the Soulscribe
-[X] Seek out the other planes. Many are the planes of oblivion, and many are their occupants. You know enough of your kin to know where to avoid, so you could find allies or a realm ripe for the taking. DC70
-[X] A heart of order: Every prince has at least one Daedra, created by their own hand. You, however, could never make one as ordinary Daedra were antithetical to your nature. The closest you could get were your knights, humans who burned up their soul to empower themselves to serve you. now, however, you might be able to make something of your own with a true spark of life. Dc80
-[X] Sheogorath Action: Rebuild your library. Once your library rivaled that of Hermeus mora, you imagine it's the reason he played a part in your downfall. Now you would rebuild it. Gather what tomes you can find in oblivion, and begin the calculations of the future as you once had. Dc 60

Okay the reasoning goes as follows: while the Snow Elves could use the knowledge the Ghosts Of The Vale action would provide, there's not a pressing need for it right now, and considering Jyggalag has just brought them to the Vale to begin with, I don't think there's a risk of any hard feelings from them if we put it off for later.

What we could definitely use right now however is a Champion. With Winterhold as unstable as it is, it would be beneficial if we could get someone to directly serve our will right now, both to reassure the locals that we are indeed still there for them and as a way of, if necessary, creating new Cults elsewhere in Skyrim, with the champion acting as priest.

The other planes action is fairly simple: it's more quiet than the other options and still grows Jyggalag's power by taking territory in Oblivion that is not being monitored by the other Princes.

Sheogorath was the one who burned down Jyggalag's library to begin with so he should be good at reconstructing it at least in part. A Heart of Order however I think should be made by Jyggalag alone. It's a very personal thing as I see it.

[X] Plan Blessings of Mytheria
-[X] A Gods Blessing. The mortals are an ever predictable lot. While some will follow you for your ideals, others need a nudge of incentive. Craft a blessing that your priest might weave into a shrine to you to attract followers. DC55
--[X] Blessing of Mind. Those who receive Jyggalag's blessing will, alongside becoming cleansed of disease, find their thoughts clear and their intuition sharp. One who carries this blessing will not easily be drawn to ill action by their own ignorance or the deceptions of others.

Same as the first plan only with a blessing for our cult instead of a champion+artifact. The blessing itself you can think of as a Fortify Willpower and Fortify Intelligence effect. Or by Skyrim effects, a Fortify Magicka and Fortify Magicka Regeneration effect.

This blessing decently reflects the starter Jyg with Order and Logical Deduction, but with newly gained Wisdom domain, it needs something extra on top, I feel. Or at least a slight alteration of fluff, idk.

That aside, the plan looks good.

What happened to pets of Falmar? Maybe they can become fully sentient and create more symbiotic relationship with Falmar. Plus we can get worship from them as well.

Any ideas? I was somewhat struggling to keep it in-theme.

The Chaurus? The ones that are still in Blackreach are still raising them I believe. They're not a species suitable to living above ground.

I think we could use a Champion, but for averting the Cataclysm…I may think that the future sight of the sword may be more useful? Though I suppose the Quill could find its way into the hands of someone who wishes for community

[] Plan save Winterhold while blessing ALL our followers.
-[] A Gods Blessing. The mortals are an ever predictable lot. While some will follow you for your ideals, others need a nudge of incentive. Craft a blessing that your priest might weave into a shrine to you to attract followers. DC55
--[] A combo blessing drawn from all the domains under Jyggalag. Order, Wisdom, Logical order and Deduction. From Order you bless your followers with the ability to dual process information(helps dual casting and dual wielding), from Wisdom they gain increased wisdom, the Logical order domain increases their intellect while Deduction domain improves their intuition.
-[] Conquest. While your power is diminished, it would not be impossible to find some corner of oblivion held by a weaker Daedra for you to take for yourself. So long as you don't make too much noise, none would assume you were there. DC60
-[] Creation. more artifacts are always useful. You could use some of your remaining power to make something of crystal that you could send unto the planet. Dc75
--[] A divine artifact that extents a magical shield over a city sized area to protect anything within from harm.
---[] Sheo +25

@Pitlord two questions, is the combo blessing and artifact creation write-ups legal?
edit: invalid plan

Both the blessing and artifact are a lot. The blessing should be more of a passive buff to your worshippers that helps but doesn't make them super powered. And the artifact is beyond your strength and beyond what a simple artifact can do.

-[X] Seek out a champion. There are those among the mortals who realize the need for order. Seek one out to act as your agent, to go and do what dyus cannot. Recruiting them may prove challenging, especially without an artifact to tempt them and offer in exchange. DC60
--[X] Offer the Sword of Jyggalyg
-[X] Find allies. without the might you once had, you need allies so that you might not be blindsided. seek others out so you might make an alliance.
--[X] Azura
-[X] A heart of order: Every prince has at least one Daedra, created by their own hand. You, however, could never make one as ordinary Daedra were antithetical to your nature. Dc80
-[X] SHEOGORATH ACTION
--[X] The ghosts of the vale

My reasons for Azura are thus: she may have hated the Dwemer and what we've done with the Falmer could be considered a spit in the face of those fake dwarves. As well, her spheres can be summed up as 'transition and change'.

I considered having Sheogorath help with Azura, but ehhh I feel like we should do that on our own. I know the thread might be hesitant to let other people know that Jyggalyg's back BUT. Yeah. Either Azura or Meridia I'd be down to clown with. Or Malacath XD

Are falmer currently sustainable, or do they need to start raiding/ask Jyg for help soon? Are they going to keep slowly advancing without teacher action?

Do Vale falmer still keep active connections with other tribes - is there trade and information exchange going on in general, and between surface and underground in particular?

Do Falmer get blessings from worshipping their old gods, or everything quiet on that front rn?

My reasons for Azura are thus
Azura also got recently got injured pretty badly by Vivek, so she might appreciate the idea of getting more allies.

And while our domains are pretty antithetical on paper, Jyg been doing things pretty differently as of recently.

They're sustainable, but they aren't exactly thriving. They will try to adapt to the modern age as they can but it won't be easy with how isolated they are. That isolation will keep them safe, though they aren't the only people in the vale.
Yes they still communicate. The cape Falmer are essentially a new tribe that was formed to go above ground and resettle their homes. The black reach and dwarfhold tribes still worship you, the cape is just where the most story currently is.
They can still get blessings from their other gods, they can only hold one at a time like all other mortal races.

Could we use the Sword of Jyggalag to rebuild the library faster by going to the appropriate place in the Shivering Isles and copying from our previous books?

Heart of order has a hard enough check to pass that putting Sheo on a separate action seems like it is just setting us up to waste a action. Also there is at least one other daedra/aedra out there that does the int/will stat blessing boost. No one grants time sight even if it comes with caveats, also it is much more thematic for Jyggalag.

After getting a answer from the QM I changed around the blessing to just give passive future sight, more useful and it should not run the risk of being too strong for a blessing.

...Yeah, my brain isn't really being terribly cooperative, too. IDK, Falmeri are using Mora as a similar-yet-different comparison, so.

Intellectual temperance, as opposed to Mora's lack of restraint? Clarity of end goals and recognition of inherently bad ideas? Something in that vein?
I edited it to this. What do you think?

Some Daedric Princes actually do grant the ability to see the past or future. Aranea Ienith, the lady that tends to the Shrine of Azura in Skyrim, has prophetic powers for example.

Pitlord is the blessing to strong as is? I am fine with first stripping out the past sight portion and if it is still too strong rip out the present sight portion as well.
Removing disease is actually a thing any blessing does, barring gods of disease and filth of course. Otherwise it's mostly fine, though uncontrollable visions might not be very useful

@Pitlord What are the mechanics/rules for going to Nirn in a mortal disguise? And what effect has writing down the Hero of Kvatch's various backstories had so far?

With the veil strengthened by martins sacrifice and the reforging of the covenant with akatosh, daedric princes generally cannot enter nirn in their true forms. They can however take on the guise of an avatar, generally a human form though some take on animal forms, that is little more than a fairly powerful but still mortal being. They can also, obviously, project their voice unto nirn, either into the minds of their voices or into a general area, generally through a medium like a shrine or artifact.
As for sheo, they're more easily able to separate who's who and give themselves some form of resolution to their mortal lives.

So if Jyggalag wanted to he could enter Nirn in a weaker mortal body? Would this have any impact on Mytheria?

Well it'd be left without a leader for however long you are there
Hm... how long would that be? A turn doesn't seem to take more than a few months by Mundus time at least, but I'm not sure how that translates to Oblivion.

Anyway, if Jyggalag were to take mortal form, would that grant a bonus to doing, say, The Gifts Of Man or The Ghosts Of The Vale?
