Lord of a Fief Quest [Xianxia/Western Fantasy Fusion, CK2-ish]

Ok so, noticed some discrepancies with our various Retainer's Power. Liu Chen and Chenshen's Power are off by 1, not sure if it's just a rounding error but Wong Hui is missing 40 Power, which would make him Rank 4 now.
Liu Chen - Chamberlain / Stewardship Adviser
Rank 2 Cultivator (198 199 Power)
+30 Stewardship, +25 Cultivation

Wong Hui - Spymaster / Intrigue Adviser
Rank 3 Cultivator (261 312 Power)
Intrigue +20, +25 Cultivation
Paranoid - +30 vs. Attempts on your life (or the life of an adviser)

Bai Chenshen - Captain of the Guard / Martial Adviser
Rank 3 Cultivator (201 202 Power)
Martial +20, +25 Cultivation
From Winter, 1032 - Turn Orders:
Liu Chen: 1D100+20 => 48 / 10 = 4.8 * 2.5 = 12 Power
Wong Hui: 1D100+20 => 118 / 10 = 11.8 * 2.5 = 30 Power
Bai Chenshen: 1D100+20 => 112 / 10 = 11.2 * 2.5 = 28 Power

From Winter, 1033 - Tea with Myeong Kimora:
Wong Hui - 1D100+25 => 103 / 10 = 10.3 * 4.5 = 46.35 = 47
Wong Hui - 1D100+25 => 99 / 10 = 9.9 * 4.5 = 44.55 = 45
Liu Chen - 1D100+25 => 82 / 10 = 8.2 * 4.5 = 36.9 = 37
Bai Chenshen - 1D100+25 => 52 / 10 = 5.2 * 4.5 = 23.4 = 24
Error: Wong Hui is missing an extra 2x Speed multiplier for Winter 1033. It should be 2 (Seclusion) + 2.5 (Hot Springs) + 2 (Spirit Stones) = 6.5x multiplier.
Note: All our Retainers started out at Rank 2 (Power 150) before recent cultivation, for the following calculations:
10.3*6.5 = 66.95 = 67 Power
9.9*6.5 = 64.35 = 65 Power
67+65 = 132 Power
150 (original) + 30 + 132 = 312 Power (Rank 4)
Liu Chen: 150 + 12 + 37 = 199 Power (Rank 2)
Bai Chenshen: 150 + 28 + 24 = 202 Power (Rank 3)

It was also wonderful news that Bai Chenshen and Wong Hui and managed to break through to the third circle of Foundation Establishment.
Discrepancy: Wong Hui should be at 312 Power (Rank 4), so should change it to mention him reaching Fourth Circle.

Typo: Threadmark titles for the last 3 updates lists the date as "Winter, 1033" although we haven't gotten to the new year yet. It should still be "Winter, 1032."

Covered by outsourcing to Ninja, you could try to create your own Hidden Village to provide you with an Internal Security Burea however.

Only against active actions to harm you.
Would a Hidden Village prevent general espionage against us instead of only active attempts that trigger a roll?

Also to confirm, Ninja Protection covers various forms of active measures, not just anti-Ninja specifically right?
I'm assuming if we win a contested Intrigue roll against an opponent, we'll get to see the dice, but if opponent succeeds their roll, we won't?

Are Spirit Stone Mines replenishable? (i.e. More Spirit Stones will appear as long as it's not overly mined)
As their power grew, so would their loyalty. It was good that you had granted them use of your personal collection of spirit stones.
Sweet, definitely going to continue supplying them with Rank 3 Stones from the reward for turning over Lord Kim. Bind them closer to us by dangling carrots (Spirit Stones).

I gotta agree it's really weird that we voted to be a "literal cultivator" and have talent in growing things and then were assigned a thematic fief based on growing things and... We can't use our talent to help it?

I just assumed it would apply to the relevant research actions. Why wouldn't it?
