Tbh, I posted the quote which would later create the Ur-Apes with a mix of 40k Orks and Fantasy Skaven in mind.

I love how we now have flying semi-cultured Orks. Ur-Apes are probably my favourite thing in this worldbuilding.

"Any man that has less than three wives isn't really a man, they are still just a boy. So it is written."
King Vausan I to his son, the then Prince Vausan.

"I've been thinking recently. That Last Storm thing that's going around, do you reckon it was caused by some gods? It makes sense. As far as we can tell, it doesn't affect the leylines and it predates the Badlands by several centuries."

Ghrommo, Ur-Ape Chieftain, after consuming a fatal amount of their so-called Brainberries for a final push during the First Great Invasion of Ur-Apes

"Anyone who doesn't buy the Crab Merchant Fleet's tomato juice is a heretic."

I sorta view the whole concept of Ur-Apes being clever little monsters, definitely not people, just monsters. Cause them being people for me wasn't very important they just sorta represent metaphorically threat that isn't a person but is capable of mimicking a person. The same way the Darkspawn, Skaven, Orcs and others were in media. It's why I made them drop people from heights and splatter them on the ground, cause I thought it was something an evil cunning creature would do.
Now I kinda want to provide a replacement that doesn't risk accidentallying. It's probably less risky to do it with specific individuals we mark as really not being person.

Edit readability

"Anyone who doesn't buy the Crab Merchant Fleet's tomato juice is a heretic."
-Captain Crab trying convince the Red Folk that they should buy his Tomato-juice and join his new hip-religion he calls Vampirism.

"That... is that really the mysterious Karagand the Bloated? Why are any of you following that thing! A empty suit suit of Gaint's armor with a Peascod belly filled to the brim with Malice and desire enchantments.
That thing doesn't have a will on it's own, and it's not even capable of really promesing you whatever you are hearing those are the desire enchantments bouncing of your wills, so please DON't THROW ME INTO THAT SOUP, YOU IDIOTS!"

Stella Sanderson, an orc, is well known for her works in literature, primarily about the conflicts present between the empires.

And yet, I'm so disappointed. I've been trying to write this letter to you, but I keep throwing them away out of rage as well.

@Gnosis @WallFlower

These two quotes I apologise if I am being a simpleton but could they be explained?

Sorry but this was a lot so Characters are coming later.

Ah, both involve me... My half of the quotes is intentionally a bit avant-garde because I like unusual concepts. I didn't have any specific final plan behind them, because I think having someone else fill in the half you've created to be pretty fun.

But, if I had to decide, then the second scene is about Ghrommo meeting Decimus after Decimus kidnapped his son and Ghrommo is piiiissed.

I'm not sure how to interpret the first. The "not being different alchemical species" thing is intentionally vague and I'm not too sure how the latter half helps with that.

-Excerpt from a letter of Serena the Swift, Stella's pen girlfriend about her Father trying to dissuade her from publishing her book 'The Thief Guild's Guide to Theft' and giving away that they are connected to the guild in any way. Stella Sanderson doesn't know the details of Serena's book and might misunderstand the situation a teeny tiiny bit.

"I am the Biggest of the Mountain town,
Servent to Horalic's Throne.
Leave this place, for it's the Elder's home."

That quote doing various things at once.

Stillwater was a place known for nothing ever happening, which borders or contains the Ur mountains. Inhabited by the Ur-apes, who have a temple there.
To outside observers it seems like the are brutish and warlike race, but that really jive with Stillwater being a with nothing happens with the Ur apes at the border. And Sir Gwyneth II of the Knights of Sunlight called them hippies.

Ghrommo here is explaining to The governor of the golden Concord what she wants and why she thinks that the 'hummie' she is talking to should listen to her.

She derives her claim to authority from the fact that she is wearing a shiny hat, stating that 'hummie' law now.

The only thing we really know about the shinie hat is that it's a black shinie hat. It's still up in the air, but the Black Crest is a shiny and black and something you could put on your head. So I think that it ended up on Ghrommo's head.
the Black Crest also disappeared during from the Namostra a secessionist republic from the Golden concord, that neighbors of Yelmont during Yelomont civil war.

The Alchemical Species thing is what's getting me a bit confused, is the "Breathing Technique" referencing a dragons breath or are we talking actual breathing techniques? In which case how is that related.

Is the quote implying the ability to breathe fire/other elements a sign of Dragons and Humans being the same? That the major think I am getting confused over as I don't know what's the concept behind this.

As for Grohommo, thank you for explaining that it makes a lot more sense I didn't connect the Black Crest being the Black Helmet, I thought Lady Alpha Blackhat was reference the Ur-Ape and so I got a bit confused with Grohommo.

There are a lot of implications to Gorg's words.
It is said to by Gorg a hermit alchemist to Darwinius, a scholar who appeared earlier discussing the relationship between various types of 'humans'. Darwiniusd probably thought that Gorg's dragon breath was an effect of his ancestory in some way.

I think that this means that alchemical this means three things
1. Alchemical concoctions and recipes effect humans and dragons in the same ways.
2. Dragon's breath is the result of a Alchemical process, which is known to Gorg.
3. If you find a human body similair to a dragon's body part that you can substitute them for eachother. This is probably subject to a footnotes, because humans rarely have similair lifestyles as the solitary dragons and even if they do they rarely reach a dragon's age and size or something of the sort.

Servent to Horalic's Throne.

Rhime, Demon Lord of the 9th Circle, to Hero Ishwilf while bound by a True Name Geass to Elder Forswon. Ishwilf was searching for the fabled Blade That Sunders The Heavens, first used to slay the first Demon King, Diabolous.

"Daemonology is a complex field, apprentice mine. Daemons, or Demons to the less educated, are a type of malignant spirit formed from the collective hatred and suffering of life mixing with the remnants of the power used to create the world. Daemons form a hierarchy of power which goes like this:
• Imps, the weakest of Daemons and by far the most common
• Lesser Daemons, a lot less common than Imps amd far more dangerous. Each is capable of destroying a well trained band of mundane knights
• Greater Daemons, rare Daemons that sre often titled as 'Calimities'. The weakest can take on entire armies of mundane soldiers.
• True Demons, the first real Demon. They are often consigned to the Infernal Realms, only capable of leaving through a Hell Portal or during the 4th stage of an Incursion.
• Archdemons, absolute monsters. They are comparable in strength to most Elder Dragons but are far more numerous. Luckily for us, they only appear during Great Incursions.
• Demon Lords. The natural pinnacle of Demonic evolution. Each one is unfathomably powerful yet are limited to acting through Avatars in the Mortal Realm. It is theorised that they could appear in their full power if another Demon King ever arose.
• Demon Kings. They are to Demon Lords what Gods are to mortals. Each one has caused a disaster that ended an age before ultimately being slain by the greatest of heroes empowered by life's will to survive."

-Thirtyfive Traveling battle Monk of THE BURNING FETUS talking to giving an introduction to theory to her apprentice and explaining why about the importance of their holy tasks.

"Rhime, Honey, there's humans at the foot of the mountain again. can you tell tell them to go away."

EDIT: I think that that one was too pointed, with not enough possibilities, so I'll change it to;
"I found a way to become an Elder human!"

Ngl, I find the idea of Rhime having accidentally married/ been adopted by Forswon hilarious
