Just to make sure I understand this, the Shale will still be available after the Tournament, right?

I can't imagine why it wouldn't be -it's locally sourced after all-, but unlike the other options it isn't stated. At the same time, I imagine it will cost at least 5 Wealth at that point. Otherwise what is the point of putting a down payment in now?

Bought immediately post-tournament while still in Bornholm, it's 4 Wealth, that's what the increased price thing is talking about. If you leave Bornholm without it getting some it's theoretically buyable elsewhere but wildly expensive. At least 10 Wealth, maybe more, if you can find it at all.

Those are some really nice decorations, especially with the war looming in the background.
Definitely do want to pick up the shale before we leave Bornholm though, even if we have to sell one of the armor pieces.

It explicitly was said to cost 4 total if we try and pick it up after the tournament. Since its still just a bunch of uncut locally sourced rock.

In that case, no reason not to delay. It's not like we can afford the 2+2 Wealth without making unacceptable sacrifices.

The Warrior Saint's Bell is going to be lifesaving when the war that we know is coming comes, and it lets us team up with Thanes and Margh more easily.

Meanwhile, the Nail of Martyrs is such a steal it should almost give us Sin. Like, that's half of a Silver Chalice at a third of the price, before getting to the effects we actually buy the item for.

Commisioning the lance as well is a bit of a gamble (we could barely afford 4 Wealth if we don't), but I have faith in Him not putting us before a foe we cannot best in the first round. Or, if He does, He has a very, very good reason to do so.

Cool so well get update on our Tabernacles rank and get to decide whether to Level up or stay in 4th decade to hone it more?

Okay, so, there are two different but related things:

1. The thing you have now is called a Temple. It is largely based on material things and gives material bonuses. It can be upgraded as you go up in Decade.
2. What you build in the 4th Decade is an entirely separate thing on a metaphysical level, your Tabernacle, which is largely built with Zeal and Deeds alone and pretty much solely concerned with turning Zeal into Piety. Piety being a more efficient means of raising Decade. You cannot use it until it is complete, or upgrade it after its completion. It can only be made during the 4th Decade. It is a whole different thing the rules for which will be revealed soon, probably right after this trip.

So your statement is false, at least as much as I understand it. I dunno if you meant to talk about the Temple or Tabernacle, but it doesn't seem correct. Maybe try rephrasing?

-Good Francisca (Can be thrown, but that counts as one-handed use for half damage, +3 to offense when used outside Knightly Armour)
Purchase the Pair of Fine Franciscas, this will give you an additional threshold of damage on any Rotes using the throwing-axes, as well as a backup in case one is lost or broken. These weapons provide +10 damage when used with Knightly Armour, and only magical weapons would do more. (1 Wealth, likely still available after the tournament)
Huh.

These are actually a fairly decent improvement over the Good Francisca Audrey already has. Huh.

Damn.

*sighs*

Wait, no. We still have that hand axe. @DeadmanwalkingXI can we use Francisca Toss with the hand axe and Saix or just the Francesca we already have?

Regarding the Tabernacle, it is worth remembering that Vieux thinks Audrey will spend 10-15 years in the 4th Decade. We don't know what grade of Tabernacle he thought we'll go for, but he must've known that Audrey is allergic anything called "average".

Building the Tabernacle is going to take a lot of Zeal. Which is why we pick up the Nail, gives us 40-60 Zeal over that time period. Definitely what makes the difference.

I thought Knights spend a lot of time on 4th Decade.

Cause Tabernacles have Grades and since our Master has a 3rd Grade Tabernacle instead of the common 5th Audrey is gonna aim for that at minimum?

There's a lot of great stuff on sale here! The decorations are too good to pass up on, so I have to support grabbing those while we can!

Deadman, I had an idea for a Prayer (maybe Meditation specifically, idk). Basically, the prayer grabs some Sunlight when it is actually sun out, and then uses Fervour to fuel the actually there sunlight, so that we have a ball of actually Sunlight floating over our shoulder to just insta-kill all the various monsters that die to Sunlight like Norse Trolls. I know that we can't generate true Sunlight out of thin air with out Light Revelation, but I'm wondering if we grab some true Sunlight we can just feed it Fervour and use whats already there as a catalyst/pattern to shift our normal fervour-sourced light over to true Sunlight. Is this a doable thing, or just not in the remit of our Revelation.

It's not within the remit of Light Revelation.

But also, on a meta level, you're just never gonna get actual sunlight generation because it makes the Quest fundamentally less interesting. Audrey has zero reason not to use that at every opportunity if she had it, so it means we can never have you fight a troll or dwarf on-screen or even have them as meaningful problems off screen for anyone she cares about. It trivializes otherwise interesting problems in a non-fun way.
