[X] Norse (Highly likely to get in violent encounters, while the commission will stop them from raiding, a quick spot of mercenary work isn't banned–and there's always the chance of some blood feud getting in a fight with another force on the way. Sizable chance of useful treasure or allies to be made, but also a high risk of getting in over your head.)

[X] Anglo-Saxon (Fairly determined to get you there and back in one piece, won't intentionally get distracted due to the King's commission, and strong fighters if trouble happens anyway, but reduce opportunities)

Reinald doesn't have anything to actually kill one. He can mummify one with his Salt Revelation and disable it that way for prolonged periods, is all. Audrey could maybe get something focused on limb-removal (or disabling) in Severance and use it repeatedly and manage something similar, if more effort intensive?
I still want to get something to mimic sunlight, seems way more effective for the effort involved.

Actually what if instead of just creating light that mimics sunlight we increase the presence of the natural sunlight around (I'm pretty sure Audrey know that the light of the moon is sunlight), this dos probably mean that on really dark nights it would be harder to pull off and doing it deep underground wouldn't be possible.

But it seems easier then just creating sunlight. Assuming it works of course.

It's great if you can do it. It's very hard to do that.

How would Audrey know that? Nobody in this era knows that, or has any reason to believe it. Also, it's probably not true on a mystical level or moonlight would already effect trolls. Reflecting off the moon must have some sort of mystical effect removing the 'sunlight' effect on things like trolls as it has mystically been transformed into moonlight. So this definitely doesn't work at all.

Basically, if there was any sunlight at all, you could increase it with Light, but if there was any sunlight at all, the troll would already be stone, so moonlight in no way counts as sunlight, magically speaking, and Audrey doesn't know or see any reason why it should.

Margh chuckled. "Oh, certainly! Contrary to what some legends might say, there's never a time where the Sun's light is truly absent." That went along with what Audrey now knew down to her bones.
Maybe I just misunderstood this bit but the way I read this is that Margh says that there isn't a time were there is absolutely no amount of sunlight (which includes night) and Audrey agreeing with him.

Fair enough on the mystical level but my read on the above dos say that it's at least known.

Margh is speaking more philosophically, I think, not something to do with moonlight being reflected sunlight. And Audrey agrees with him since Light is now a part of her, but that doesn't mean it counts as sunlight for purposes of things like vulnerability.

Over our head? Us? We don't even know the meaning of the words!

Bradamante galloping along the waves amidst a raging storm as Audrey holds her blade in both hands crying out the the Gospel of Matthew, "Lord if it is you, tell me to come to you on the water." as they charge down some dreadful beast or foe is just such a great scene idea I cannot help but vote for Norse.

Voting's dried up and there's a clear winner, I'm going to close it up a bit early so I can roll Grace and get to planning with the Gang.

We're going to make an exception to our normal rules and make this Grace roll public, to celebrate the new dice roller update and because it's April Fool's Day, let's see who becomes the Fool!

Alectai threw 19 4-faced dice. Reason: Who is the Fool this year? Total: 48
2 2 3 3 3 3 1 1 2 2 2 2 3 3 2 2 3 3 1 1 4 4 4 4 2 2 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 2 2 2 2

How does grace rolls work here btw? Like if we get more grace would an average roll on that be the same as an average roll with the grace we got now, or is it based on a number of breakpoints system?
