Killer For Hire Quest II - Murder Hero

Additionally, it may very well be that not talking with these guys has us futilely checking butchers for a lot longer, which in turn would make it even more likely that we stumble on the grudge from the past guy.
Then why not at least vote to go but not eat or drink anything while there?

[X] No

I'm forced to agree with the 'the meal is drugged' guess. This is setting off my alarm bells, here. And I'm not so quick to go 'Oh, we've got our friends with us, they'll keep anything from going wrong for us', because who's going to keep anything from going wrong for them?

[X] No, you don't actually feel like catching up with how the lives of people you once knew have been going. You're on a mission to find a whole bunch of people that were kidnapped so that you can retrieve them and take them to the folks at the medical ward for testing and stuff. Plus Corrie still slaps you too hard in the back.

[X] Sure, you think you can spare some time to have a drink with Corrie. Even if he wasn't exactly the nicest person back in school, he was better than some other people who'd rather not talk about. It'll be nice to know how everyone's been doing since you stop going to school. Plus, you're getting thirsty as well.

Guys. We have to accept and let them try something so we can kill them all. Otherwise the grudge people will get major, major clues as to where we are and who we work for.

[X] Ain't Thirsty

"No, I don't feel like having a drink with you today." You tell Corrie. Shironeko make a small smirk unseen by the others around you while Corrie frowns upon hearing your answer. "I'm on a date with Shironeko so maybe another time."

Like maybe never.

"Well that's too bad then." Corrie makes a disappointed smile but doesn't appear to be angry at you for declining to drink with him and his friends. "I was hoping you'd come and make things interesting. Things just haven't been the same since you up and vanished. Well, hopefully we'll be seeing each other again soon some other day." Corrie gives you another playful but hard slap on the back and ruffle your hair. "Take care, Barnes, and I hope your date turns out well."

"Er, um, bye." You say with a raised hand and Corrie waves you off as he walks pass you.

"See ya around, Mal."Corrie says and his friends also give their farewells, though most of them were mostly paying attention to Shironeko. With that, Corrie and his friends leave you and Shironeko staring after the small group of men.

For a few seconds, the two of you just stare after the group before Shironeko decides to speak up.

"At least two of the men and possibly Corrie are the Lower Street butchers." Shironeko simply states without fanfare. You blink and give your girlfriend a puzzled look, and she quickly enlightens you. "I've got a good sense of smell, remember? I can smell the human blood just reeking off them."

"Oooh." You briefly wonder what she smells when she smells you.

"So, shall we follow them, Mal?" Shironeko asks with a predatory smile on her face.

"Um…" You think back on all the things that Corrie did back when you were still in school. Your thoughts turns to all the pranks, the name-calling, the laughter aimed at you, the mocking looks and smile on everyone's faces, and that time when Corrie made you spill your back then rare chocolate milk.

You feel yourself reaching for your knife. You think you might be feeling good about what is to come.

The first thing you did after deciding to follow after Corrie and his crew was to inform Eliza. With her sense of smell, it was easy for Shironeko to find the team leader. After explaining what had happened, Eliza gave the go ahead for you and Shironeko to trail after Corrie with herself following from out of sight with the movers.

You are now moving across the rooftops, keeping an eye on Corrie as his gang moves through the lower streets. You note that Corrie and his boys are acting like they own the streets, roughly pushing away anyone that get in their way and some bits of intimidation. It looks like Corrie hasn't really changed since you last saw him.

Eventually, he and his crew enter a building, the tavern which you assume he had invited you to. Shironeko sniffs the air and smiles.

"Found it. I believe this is where they've been doing their murders." Shironeko says confidently.

"So does that mean we…." You trail off as you try and remember what you should say here.

"Go in and break everyone's spine and grab poor smuck who's still alive and hand them over to the movers?" Shironeko suggests.

"Oooh, that's sound better than, um, what I was going to say!"

"Alright then, shall we get going then?"

"Yep!"

About five minutes later, you are standing outside the tavern next to a window, ready to break inside and stab everything. However, you discover a slight problem when you take a look inside. Much to your chagrin, Corrie and his friends aren't the only ones inside the tavern. You see several capital guards having a drink inside.

You were told that they were supposed to be more guards patrolling the Lower Streets but you hadn't seen them up until now. It looks like they were busy drinking the day away. These guards don't take their job seriously.

You do however notice a familiar face in the small group of guard.

It's that girl from when you killed…that guy…in that...You can't remember but you remember the girl and her weird little dog thing. She looks agitated and unhappy like her dog doll pet thingy.

Shironeko's waiting for you to start the infiltration and by that she means you breaking and making a big fuss.

You weren't expecting the guards though.

What should you do?

[ ] Just go on with what you were going to do and dynamically break in through the window and start stabbing everyone.

[ ] They're guards, right? And you are in a sense a concerned citizen, right? So you should be able to waltz in there and tell the guards that the tavern is where the butchers have all their victims held and chopped up, right?

[ ] Fall back and wait for the guards to leave or Corrie, either one is fine.

[ ] Write In

[X] Go in screaming and shouting, point at corrie and his friends and call them all murderers! Then start stabbing them.

This is either going to end good or really bad.

Blood-soaked Innocence, don't fail us now!

And if the guards are on into the whole butchering scheme, well then, It's doing our civic duty to help dispose of them.

And if we could spin in the way we rescue the damsel / save the nice girl from her otherwise inevitable demise and career of being a slab of meat Corrie undoubtedly planned for her to become, well, that's just a bonus!

Isn't the girl going to be a problem? Can't her dog smell sin or something?
If that was all then it wouldnt be an issue. The problem is that the owner is a psycopath with homocidal tendencies and a twisted sense of "justice".

Id rather not deal with her if we can avoid it.

Oh ho! Justice girl is here!

Get her attention with that.
