This is appeasing for the Ebon Dragon!

[X] Write-in: "Well, it's because I...hold on, Carrie was a hostage here and you call yourself a guardswoman, someone who is supposed to protect the citizens, why did you kill him?" Tilt head.

Changing to this:

Yeah, that's a good one.

HOORAY IT LIVES!

I'm not too sure on what to vote on right now so I'll probably vote later once I've made up my mind but I'm just so happy that this is back. : D

Who the hell is McGuyver

How come this trait is not even listed in the character sheet even though Shibosho accepted in the second part of character gen?

We traded it due to not going with out personality.

Read the whole thread.

Alas, none will ever be as sweet as dear Melody.

But that's no reason not to try. :D

Although I gotta say, Jason and the priestess whose name I can't remember....well, okay, maybe some will be sweeter. And Jason successfully scared the piss out of us.
Although there have been and will probably be more amazing kills than Melody, her's will always have a special place in my heart. Mostly because that was the first kill that showed just how amazing this quest could be. :3

[X] Tell Her! The Truth!

"Well, Shironeko smelt all this blood on them and we were looking for them because we needed to find the people they had taken so that me and my friends could take them to the medical people and reason and I need to breath now." You answer the guardsgirl without pause. Seryuu seems taken back by your answer, allowing you to catch your breath. "Also your doggy is very scary and I think I'm feeling scared - or awkward, one or the other."

"What?" Seryuu stares at you sheepishly for a moment before she shakes her head and regains her composure. "R-right! Okay, well you should have gone to a city guard, rather than try and solve the problem yourself. You could get hurt!"

"Um, isn't that what I did? When I told you that Corrie and his friends were the Lower Street Butchers?" Seryuu opens her mouth to say something but closes it as her face reddens a little. Koro is still looking at you while being a big scary dog monster thing. At least he's not growling anymore. "Um, can I go get the people now?"

"Y-yes! Of course! Come citizen! You may assist in the extraction of the innocent lives that are hidden somewhere within this premises!" The guardsgirl declares, if a bit stiffly before her expression turns serious and she points to the bartender who still looks somewhat green in the face. "Where are the missing people, scum!"

The man stammers and splutters for a bit before Koro walks over and growl menacingly, prompting a proper answer from the terrified man. "DOWN! BASEMENT! BEHIND THE LARGEST BARREL! PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!"

Seryuu nods and then proceeds to blow the man's brain out from the other side of the pub with her tonfa-gun things. You blink owlishly at what the girl did. Huh, you thought that she was going to have Koro eat the man. "Come on! There are innocents to be saved!" It was right around here that you remember something. You hadn't realised it earlier due to Koro towering over you being scary and stuff but now that you think about it….

"Um, how many people did Koro eat?"

"Hmm? Four criminal scums, I think. Why do you ask?"

"Wasn't there five people?"

Before Seryuu can answer, an empty part of the tavern's floor suddenly erupts, throwing debris and dust over you and Seryuu. Koro moves to protect his master while you simply bend back and forth, avoiding the bits of stone and wood. You hear a low growl that didn't come from Koro within the dustcloud and you immediately ready your knives. Seryuu aims her guns while Koro start growling in challenge.

As the dust clears, you stare in surprise at what just came out of the floor. A large mass of flesh with a vaguely humanoid form is pulling itself out from the hole in the floor. However, you almost let out a cry when you see what it is made out of. It is a monster made out of human body parts. It main body looks like a mass of muscle, expertly stitched together by some skilled seamtress. It pulls itself out from the hole with hands that have legs for fingers. You see several heads with lolling tongues and deranged eyes twisting on the top of the bizarre monster. It stands on many legs from many different people. And it is strong.

Before either you or Seryuu can act, the monster punches Koro and sends him through the wall and outside the building.

"Koro!" You watch Seryuu grit her teeth and begin firing upon the monster but the bullets simply goes into the muscular mass of flesh, spilling blood but doing cosmetic damage. The monster's torso opens up to reveal a large mouth with skulls for teeth. It lets out an ear-splitting roar and charges at you. Immediatley, you dive to the side and watch the creature smash through the wall that was behind you and head outside. Seryuu follow the creature outside and you begin to hear screams from people outside.

Huh, that was quite an unexpected thing to happen.

What do you do?

[ ] Go down the hole and check if anyone's still alive. That's where the missing people you're supposed to extract and send to the Movers are meant to be.

[ ] Follow Seryuu outside and kill the monster! It's probably killed all the people you meant to get out of here!

[ ] Welp, this mission's a bust. You weren't told about monsters so you're gonna leave and head to the next part of your mission. Better find the girls as well.

Seryuu will be fiiiiiine, we should check if there are any people in the hole. If so, hurray! we send them to the movers and then mission complete! If not, then we have a pretty good idea of what happened to them. :3

Why help kill the monster? Seryuu is psychotic, she can help herself.

We have a mission, you know?

Brilliant, we can still complete the mission and NOT make the scary dog with the girl into an enemy.

You know, one of my favorite things about this starting up again?
It's that I hope we'll get to ask hilarious questions again - seriously, getting Miss Lucy to do regular spittakes is great.
I want that to happen at least once every mission session we have.

...Anyway, is it wrong of me to want to help the girl, in the hope that this could be the start of trying to recruit her into the League?
She'd do very well there - and maybe we'd get some points for helping bringing her along.
