So, between missions we could generally do stuff to earn LP.
Normally, this would not be at all useful for Malakai (guy's a klutz)... but I was wondering, couldn't we use our skill at knife maintenance and offer to work on others bladed weapons?
Malakai is pretty good at fixing up his weapons (we saw it when he went to the dorm after the mission against Jason), and it certainly seems like this'd be related to killing others.

When have we really needed LP? We used it to buy food, but we never learn about the specific amounts we get. I suspect Shibosho is just playing it by ear and will only announce if we have enough LP for something if it becomes directly relevant.

Besides, doing missions or learning better ways to be murder technician sound more fun.

Yeah, I'd want to continue learning from the Malyss book we've got, as well.
It was just a random idea I had while rereading the Quest (man, it's so good - still glad you started the whole 'awkward question' running gag, Hymn)
One thing it could've done would be to get us closer to some Fixers, by hanging out at the Workshop or SAZ.

Though that'd be possible to do later, anyway...
