You mean this?

Mind you, this could just be a thing they discover during the IS3 timeline

Also on the idea of making Wympe into like a pseudo-abyssal hunter. I'm not sure how that would actually work, one thing is they Aegir, so the process might require some biological quirk they already have which she would lack. While interbreeding between races is possible thank to the existing of Utage who is treated like an average girl with a case of the battle craze, and that one girl (who I forgot the name to) in that one event having a Sankta mother and a Sarkaz father (who I do have theory on.) but are still different enough to separate them.

Another thing. Since I'm not familiar with Aegir's abyssal hunter-making process, I can't quite make a case for it, but...

Isn't Wympe's foreign augmentations gonna be a problem? Since she's very well-augmented.

[X] Plan: Bloodsoaked Fishing
I leave this story alone for a day or two and come back to what is basically super zombies in the form of an invasive species squared turning the already kinda bad situation into an "OH GOD WHERE ARE THE BRAKES" one.
Which, ironically enough, is pretty standard for both Arknights (at least when Seaborn is involved) and LoR settings respectively, if at different levels.

[X] Plan: Bloodsoaked Fishing

Hey, whoever made this vote can you add Burn the remaining corpses after we are done and Getting some samples, just in case?
Since there is a lot of people on this thread still insisting on trying out the bloodfiend route we need to try this on some subjects to make sure our friend won't die, that means getting some samples.
Before any one of you say sieg won't do that, we are desperate for any cure and this is one of the lead that might have results, for a friend, he will definitely do that without mercy too.
And if you guys are really that much of a pussy on human testing. We can test this on the bishop. If you guys wanted that, if it doesn't work that would be a horrible way to go, isn't it? and if it fails, the wish of our other friend who wants to kill the bishop If it gone rogue will be granted.

I said it in my vote. I don't think we would have the time to burn it. We will likely be running away once the Civilians are distracted, and the Sea Fiends either ran away or are more busy killing themselves than attacking us. Plus...what the hell are we going to burn the 300 Corpses and the splattered-all-over-the-beach blood with?

I will add a sample vote, though.

hmm, at least set it on fire just so nobody gets close, if something remains, then it's not our fault, we tried at least.

Hm...well...since the vote is winning anyway. It wouldn't hurt to add it as a win condition.

Might take a lot of time out of Sieg's short schedule tho. I personally don't think we really need to do it.

No matter. We don't need a bunch of blood hungry and crazy person walking around biteing everyone if they can't keep their sanity after becoming a bloodfiend, that only complicates the fallout and might affect the world at large and turn it into a zombie apocalypse film if it goes wrong.

Well. Based on what Abel said, it would take months for even just 300 Bloodfiend zombies.

The likelihood of someone obtaining power from the corpses which will most likely be washed into the ocean when night comes, where the bloodfiend blood will probably immediately die, is pretty low.

...eh, Just in case, you never know, and taking chances with these kind of things are pretty bad and will probably backfire.
Oh, well, who's ready to catch a civilian and force him to drink blood?

Probably no body. As I said. The Tide will probably wash away the corpses once night comes would it not?

We are on the Beach after all.

Edit: It seems that I am mistaken. Our current location is on a street...I though the mentioned Shore was our current location, but I guess not.

Let's see if there's any sea born stupid enough to try and eat those.
Even in the case of them eating it...

The blood will as I said probably disappear once they touch the moving water that is the ocean. All the Seaborns would be able to eat is the dried-up bloodless carcasses of their brethren, with basically 0 information on what the hell sucked all their blood out/made their blood evaporate.

But it is irrelevant anyhow. Our current location isn't near the ocean.

[X] Plan: Bloodsoaked Fishing

The title of the next chapter is "The Tide Recedes" if the naming is scheme Skalter's third skill.

[X] Plan: Bloodsoaked Fishing
Could also be "Chant of Returning" or "Wish of Burial"
if the theme is the first parts of Skalter's skills

the main Abyssal Hunter trio's skill names are pretty fancy huh.. I never really noticed for some reason
Skalter's "Chant of Returning by Varied Paths", "Wish of Burial Beyond the Light" and "'The Tide Surges, The Tide Recedes'"
Gladiia's "Waterless Parting of the Great Ocean", "Waterless Grasp of the Raging Seas" and "Waterless Dance of the Shattered Maelstrom"
Pizza Cutter Shark's "The Skill to Survive", "The Thirst to Survive" and "The Pressure to Survive"

Most of it is because the Chinese version of it is fancy or difficult to translate with just a few words. So the translation team makes it fancy too.

hmm, the main issue I have with solo write-in votes is that usually when a good plan gets figured out, it wins by a landslide. Not inherently a problem because the plan does need to be figured out properly first but still.

my first reaction to the pov of TOWW was "oh this thing needs to die yesterday" but the main benefit it had is pretty damn well neutralized by this point so.. good? I guess?

Most of it is because the Chinese version of it is fancy or difficult to translate with just a few words. So the translation team makes it fancy too.

flashback to them translating destreza as supreme arts (Which is what it actually translates to iirc) and everyone being so mad they translate it back to destreza

still sad that they put all of fia's skill names in latin, "you must x" reads way more interestingly than "xite", "you must repent" vs "reponite" for example

So being an Aegir is not a requirement to be a successful Seaborn + Human(ish) hybrid capable of making your own individual decisions. Amaia from the event is a Liberi and also part Seaborne like the Bishop. I do however agree that no in the world knows how the implants + seaborn physiology would effect the hybridization process, and it would be a very long shot.

The people who have the technology to make some form of mentally stabl-ish hybrid is the Church of the Deep, super evil, and Aegir which is xenophobic, likely infiltrated by the Church of the Deep, and physically inaccessible at the bottom of the ocean. The Aegir's who are accessible are the Abyss hunters none of which are like biological/chemical scientist to help with the problem unless we want them to mercy kill Wympe. Thorn (Rhode's Island) whose swordsmanship teacher is a member of the church of the Deep, chemical/biological genius, and can transform himself into a hybrid in the BAD timeline, but ultimately still went insane from his hybridization method. He might at best be able to delay the onset, but is unlikely to be able to find a permenant solution. Finally, Mizuki (Rhode's Island) the only super successful hybrid, and probably the only one who has a shot of doing anything useful to Wympe, but also doesn't exactly advertise what he is and his abilities on this end are very unknown.

So while it may be theoretically possible, I don't think we will find anyone who is willing to work with the knowledge to work with us in Universe to help Wympe achieve a stable hybridization process.

But we don't have the time.
So the majority here choose to work with bloodfiend shenanigans instead of waiting.
Although we have clear evidence before us showing that it probably won't work, we need to give it a shot, at least.
So in the interest of keeping our friend alive, I proposed to test on locals first before just making our friend chuck bloodfiend blood, just to make sure that it works.
So it'll be at least safer than just using a radical treatment has not been tested or even theorized.

We should probably asked Abel for some hypothesis instead of guessing.
Also I don't think Mezuki is currently with Rhodes Island right now. He appear during Ch'en Alter event and I don't think we're there yet.

Regarding Mizuki, he's.. pretty much entirely unique and probably not much help regardless.
I might be misremembering but I thought he was just straight up a Seaborn, and not really a hybrid, hell, I vaguely remember there was a translation of some part of Highmoore's profile that had her saying something along the lines of "yeah I'm a hybrid abomination but Mizuki is just an abomination, Don't get us confused" but again, memories are vague and CN translations are to be taken with a bucketfull of salt.

I do think that it's entirely possible that Dossoles Holiday has already happened though, we're pretty much right before the Victoria arc is kicking off and it pretty much needs to happen before that since Ch'en is running around with Bagpipe by the end of chapter 9.
Can't be bothered to double check to be sure right now though, Minimalist's drone sucked all the life out of me.

Yeah asking Abel is probably for the best. It also occurs to me that Quintus is a scientist who researches Seaborns given his study of Specter and any good scientist would have a set of research notes that he keeps detailing all his Seaborn research. We have a doctor with a thousands of experience studying weird stuff in our brain. This sounds like a good combination for Wympe or should atleast allow Abel to better judge what will happen if we loot Quintus' research notes as opposed to leaving them there.
