Interest Check: Mobile Suit Gundam Game

I'd suggest an enemy battleship. Either that, or use it to seriously hurt Johhny Ridden when he shows up, but that's kinda metagamey.

As an aside, anyone need resupplying or repairing? If not, @Sushi would "Backscratch" apply to the Zaku Missile Pods I had on the Ball?

Also, something to note - the Nifleheim has

  • Laser Datalink:
    The vessel gives an automatic +1 Teamwork for Attacks and Defenses to friendly units within 2 Zones of it, as well as receiving a cumulative bonus from friendly units (up to 3.)
As well as something that increases the Difficulty of enemy pilots rolls by 2 if they're within 3 or less Zones. We might also be able to call on the Salamis Support Options, if it becomes necessary.

Your stunt applies to another unit. You can't use it on yourself.
 
I'd suggest you divide up the remaining nukes the beam gun amongst remaining HVTs. Two nukes per ship HVT with the beam gun on the most valuable. Everyone else runs interference (jamming etc) to help missiles get through and top cover.

I think I'm in Zone 3, right?

Would it be possible to help me sink a Musai in Zone 4 with it?
 
Achilleia's going to try to put her spears into the biggest, fattest target she can find.
 
Rhea still has her two nukes, she can try and take out the southern most Musai to see about opening a way.
So call your targets, and we'll work this out from there.

Personally, I think that the Mega Cannon should hit that rear Musai in Zone 3, give the fighters a little bit easier time to make their own attack runs.

When that's done, I'll be sure to go whack a spear into one of the near Musais in Zone 3. All the juicier targets seem too deep in at the moment and I don't have the raw combat chops to make a riskier attack.

if we take out a few of the Papua we can slow the fleet's advance though.

Hey, @Sushi, using that held shot now on one of the big dark green ships. The roll was +4, skill is +2, and the ship adds another +2 for +8 total.

Also, could you move the hospital ship up one zone to two, then for the next round activate the boosters so it goes to zone 4 then off the map.

It's moving forward to Zone 2, so yes.
Since nobody seems to have any objections, I am going ahead with plan 'Nuke the Zone 4 Musai'.

Edit: Roll was a 0, but add in my Stunt, the Weapon's Bonus, and the Laser Datalink stunt on the ship make it a +8 nevertheless.

Damn I'm going to miss nukes.

Edit: Just to be clear I'm located in Zone 3 currently.

Btw, about how much air do you think is in a mobile suit? And how far away are the rest of the Zeke's fleet?
Going by the size of the cockpit alone, six hours without extra tanks. However it's only four hours before toxic CO2 levels. You'd slowly be going into Hypoxia as the CO2 in your blood began to build up until you passed out and some time later died.

I'm in Zone 2, so I'll go after one of the Pupua fighters. Laser Datalink provides automatic +1, in the same zone so Knife Fight Range applies. Running at +4 base, let's see how I do.
