The countermeasure pods are a free invoke, like an Advantage, so you get a +2 toward your roll. In this case it would be a +7 total, meaning you evade the missiles with no problems.I have a Countermesaures Pod so I'll use that against the Gattles.
Rolling now for the Zaku.
Edit - +1 result + +4 skill = 5
also I am in Zone 1.
Alright, you're good.Yeah, uh, I'm going to launch those because I'm not sure I can beat that roll, and let the crew treat Maion's soiled suit as FOD.
You would take 4 shifts of Physical Stress as the Zaku spends one of its two free invocations.B-2
and rolling piloting: 0
So with my piloting skill that's +4.
Hold off for now on my stunt or my countermeasure pod until i find out how fucked I am.
Still gotta roll!
We're doing defend rolls and reactions, not attacks quite yet. Though in my early morning stupor I forgot to tag you for an attack.Heh, I always assumed that if we ran into any canon characters it would be M'Quve. Guy seems to find a new way to die in every version of OYW, figured we would have a shot at actually killing him.
Anyway, moving to Zone 3 to make a rear line attack on the lower Papua in Zone 4 with my last nuke, maybe force them to pull their forces back from the Titan.
Edit: Base is +7 due to my skill, weapon, and stunt, so it's +6 total, anyone want to lend assistance?
Not Zone-wide, just inside the ships hit.
Alongside the Niflheim at about the same speed, maybe a kilometer away.
The difference between attack and defense is enough to give you a Success with Style. The Zaku II dumped too many rounds into the attack, leaving the pilot stuck reloading. You now get a +2 if you attack that Zaku II during your turn. The first roll was for the Zaku but I will take it
3 result + 4 skill = 7
Oh, sorry, heat must be getting to me.Roll Piloting to defend against an anti air-barrage from the Musai vessels.
You'd be checking off your 4 Physical Stress box without any modification or invocations.
I meant which Zone. Did it move up to Zone 2 in the last turn?Alongside the Niflheim at about the same speed, maybe a kilometer away.
Nope, it's on the map. Same place, Zone 1.I meant which Zone. Did it move up to Zone 2 in the last turn?
Okay, can you move that up one zone? I'd be on the Nephilim I guess...
Just gently reminding people I need to actually write the attack post before people respond to it.I would rather like to engage one of those Musai. I've got two nukes and that attack is worth a little payback.
Any objections from the players?Okay, can you move that up one zone? I'd be on the Nephilim I guess...
I just want to get everyone's damage/ defenses rolled and invoked, then we can get on the next turn properly IC-wise to keep things organized.Shoot, sorry about that.
I kind of thought that the chaos of this plan was already kind of going on at that point in time and that I just needed to deliver a snapshot from it.
I would rather like to engage one of those Musai. I've got two nukes and that attack is worth a little payback.
Can I do either? I think I'm out of FATE points. You'd be checking off your 4 Physical Stress box without any modification or invocations.
I refreshed everyone's stress after we rearmed, and you might be right about the FP. Check off your 4 Stress box then.
When possible, tag your skill for me (Pilot +3 in this case.) That's a +4, meaning you check off your 1 Physical Stress box.
If it goes through would that be the move for the ship for turn one or turn two?
...Err. Technically I cannot actually do that because my sheet was posted by you.I refreshed everyone's stress after we rearmed, and you might be right about the FP. Check off your 4 Stress box then.
