In the Domain of the Glutton (Digimon)

Seadramon Lake Part 1
[x] Seadramon Lake

Huh…. well you can see why Blue Eyes had such a difficult time looking at the state of things…. Well ok more like you know how the enemy has been moving reinforcements so quickly.

The main enemy base in the area does have that rather large and formerly concealed port after all, your bro might av been forced back by the sheer number of mooks but he messed up the camouflage but good allowing you to see it pretty clear. Sadly enough of the concealment is still intact enough to keep you from accurately guessing the composition of the enemies main base.

Naturally the entire thing is surrounded by swampland, gee trying to get through that fast is like trying to get past a major tyrannomon traffic jam.

There are two routes into the enemies main base that avoid this swampland one to the west that is much wider allowing more forces to move at once but at the cost of travel time and one to the east that is much the opposite.

Of course the enemies being the enemy have fortified both entrances, fine by you, it just gives you extra targets to make sleep with the seadramon.

Finally the enemy has a base located near the center of the battlefield that deploys light harassing forces… naturally that means the punks are also specialized for this miserable terrain because of course they are… thats bound to be an annoyance.

What do you do?
[] Attack the enemy base directly.
[] Attack through the West Route.
[] Attack through the East Route.
[] Write in.

[X] Attack through the East Route.

Maybe adding the write-in of having the Mega and Gigadramons fly around and harassing the enemy while The Eyes and Army reach the area might not the worse idea, tho the only minus is if they have anti-air resources.

That is a viable write in.... weather or not the enemy has any hidden anti air is beyond your info at the moment.

Savagery
[x] Savagery

You are visiting Ogremon.

It was supposed to be a nice quiet visit.

But of course the Dark Area has other plans.

As shortly after you'd arrived you and Ogremon had found yourself under attack by strange creatures.

They are alien to you, and alien to this place.

So what could they be doing here?

One of them opens up a…. Gate of some kind and almost sucks Ogremon into it.

But you catch him in time, and very quickly crush the offender within your claws.

Ogremon soon returns the favor by eliminating another of these strange creatures, one that was about to fire a powerful ranged attack at you.

You don't know why this others have arrived.

But if they seek to continue this attack?

They will be making a grave mistake.

You have managed to survive the worst of the Dark Area…. As a Data type at that, they will not defeat you with this simple savagry.

Now this is an interesting wrinkle... Think these boys belong to Lucemon?

Angels in the Dark Area? That's not normal.

I think we might be looking at an invasion.

Stands to reason, if the Demon Lords are in the middle of a Civil War taking one of them out will not only be easier, but it might even be downright prudent.

Digivolving into a Mega takes time and effort, taking one of them out will buy any "good" faction a metric fuckton of time and possibly even an actual foothold in the Dark Area to stage even more raids.

I could buy it being a strike form a radiant force. As Evaunit said snipping any buds at the stem or hell land a good blow agaisnt a DL is a decently viable scenario.

I wonder if this is a Flashback, since you know Boss Valv is in a swamp region under repairs.

A Bad Day
A Bad Day

It has been a full day since unknown assailants have arrived in Ogremons territory.

You have been forced to contact the little ones and inform them that you would be late to return.

Ogremon describes them as angels supposedly they are seen as forces of good outside of the dark area.

…. Randomly attacking mon is not what you'd define as good.

The 'main' digital world must be full of lunatics.

Regardless you have offered to hold off the enemy while Ogremon rally's the inhabitants of his home to cast off the invaders.

As it is you stand alone against an armies worth of angel champions, it seems that you and Ogremon single handedly manage to destroy the 'first waves' allotment of Ultimates, so that is at least one advantage, though this only being one wave is… distressing to you.

Especially since you know those that are not fighting you have begun setting up a formerward base of some kind, just teleporting this many mon between dimensions is not done easily.

You cannot do a thing about that, but you can do something about the army before you…. As Red Eyes would say someone here is about to have a bad day.

Seadramon Lake Part 2
[x] The East

Well northen ta do about it, if this palace is a drop off point for reinforcement yer going ta have ta smash it up before the enemy can bring in too many more.

East it is then sooner yer done wrecking those mooks property the better.

So ya go through the east, it means ya can bring less of yer bois with ya but well that's why your leading, can let a bunch of champions getting caught up in a meat grinder.

"Nuclear Laser" A beam from your left hand slams into the bases eastern entrance melting the gate and nearby sections of all.

Also you can do that!

Thats a very good reason ta go first!

The enemy tries to stop you with a pair of Devimon after realizing that they don't have nearly enough Vilemon or Troopmon to so much as slow you down but well neither of em last very long, ya grew up in the dark area of all place! Did they think a mon manages to reach ultimate level here without being able put the hurt out on those overgrown winged rats?

Hmmmp they must have been from the normal digital world, ya here Devimon are a lot more rare and seen as a lot more powerful in that place.

…. Looks like ya actually managed to get into this part of the base before the enemy could deploy forces ta meet ya…. Heh guess that gives you some time to cause some havic… and maybe do something about those defensive auto turrets that have been pelting you this entire time.

What do you do next?
[] You see an unguarded security terminal….. Well time form some fun!
[] Better get to widening that hole you made in the wall, this path lets lets forces go at once but its still more than can get through what used to be the door.
[] Well ya better clear some of this junk out of the way, this room is as good of a mustering spot as any.
[] Wait is that comes relay in contact with that annoying raiders base?

[X] You see an unguarded security terminal….. Well time form some fun!

On the one hand I'd really like to screw with them, but on the other hand I smell some juicy intel just lying around, waiting for us to get it.

Like there was really any other choice we would take

What you know: The 7 Great Demon Lords
I won't be updating today but I have decided to do a lil info post hope you guys like it.

Gluttony: Obviusly Valvemon knows this one well having had personal contact with and having served under the demon lord of Gluttony for longer than some megas have been alive. Other than that the common perception of your boss in that's he enigmatic, is often away from his own realm, and that for some unkown reason he's managed to secure the loyalty of 4 mon that have the potental to become demon lords themselves, and powerful ones even among that number in the case of two of em.

Envy: Levimon resides inside of the deepest parts of the Dark Ocean instead of the Dark Area, he's rightly feared as one of the most powerful DL's but is exteme envy means he lacks powerful subordinates... that said his end goal is the destruction of basically every mega level that isn't him teaming up agianst his forces when they are active is actually still something that happens often... it is known that the Xuanwumon defeated him in ancient times (Playing him like a fiddle in the process), and that Lucemon managed a similar feat before his fall from grace.

Lust: Lilithmon is a well known scheme and alone of the demon lords almost seems ideologically driven to spread evil wherever she can. At least three of the other demon lords seem to hold an especially intense hatred of her,

Greed: Barbamon wants material wealth... thats it. He's just really, really, really greedy. Naturally he runs his realm like a major corperation.

Sloth: Belphamon's goals are hard to deciepher as he's rarely sane enough to properly communicate when he's actually awake and as a result his territory is complete anarchy. It seems he either wants to be able to actually accomplish his other goals while asleep or to not be crazy when he's awake... one of the two at least.

Pride: Lucemon wants nothing more than absolute power, oddly enough however he has refused to evolve into his natural higher evolutions. His main enemies include followers of the legendary warriors, the three great angels, Daemon, and especially GranDracumon despite the vampire digimons role in Lucemons own fall from grace.

Wrath: Daemon was one of Lucemons subordinates before the angel fell and ironically fell to his own sin out of anger at Lucemons betrayal. His end goal is the destruction of about 99.999999% of everything in the digital world and then himself... scarily he also seems to have maintained some of his old contacts among angel digimon, or at least was able to form new ones surprisingly quickly.

Well, I suppose that explains how the Angel digimon got into the Dark Area...
Angellic lines... including fallen angel ones are generally disliked in the Dark Area to say the least especially by the demonic types and 'dark' variants of older mon that used to be more dominant before they showed up.

The Vamdemon lineis also generally disliked on account of Gran Dracumon causing the incident that lead to Fallen Angels entering the Dark Area in force.

Seadramon Lake Part 3
[x] Security Terminal

Well well well, you can't just let an opportunity to cause chaos like this slip right on past you.

Really it'd be just the worst waste imaginable.

Time to crack this thing open like a punk's skull in a street brawl!

La la la la la la.

Thos cyber security is pathetic! Ha! You could have cracked this as a rookie… than again you did spend a lot of your rookie days debugging Boss V's software so that might not be the worst codemination you can throw out… so you'll say that Blue Eyes could have cracked this as a rookie!

Now that… that is insulting!

Hmmm well it seems they were both very dumb and very smart about how they autmated thier defenses. They were extremly stupid to make hook up all of the defensive turrets into an automated system that was this easy to take control of… but for some reasons they were smart enough to make sure you'd need to take control of another terminal on the other side of the base to mess with the IFF's on the doors how odd of them.

Oh well!

You turn the defense turrets on the bases remaing occupents.

…. Oh my.

That… that is a messy outcome.

Honestly you did not expect this.

You look over to the team trying to bust open the door so you can over run the rest of the base.

And they aren't making any progress at all.

You return your attention to the turrets…. And they've killed all of the mooks in the base…. And some of the elites…. And the commander.

Wow.

They were poorly prepared for your hack, it'd almost be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.
Still…. Now you don't have an prisoners to interrogate, shame you'd been working on your 'evil' voice, you didn't take all of those acting lessons in the big frogs domain for not reaon after all.

They rest of your force continues trying to break down the bases door as you use the terminal to look into the secueld reinforcements.

…. They have a large army due to arrive soon, though it will likley turn for a safer port if they find out this place is compromised.

Well well, this could be an opportunity, but it would be a risky one.

What do you do?
[] Take the base openly and fortify you've done your job for now.
[] Prepare an ambush, those forces will just take the long way if they aren't dealt with now, and they could arrive at a bad time if you haven't finished the local enemies.

OOC: The turrets got a 89 and than a nat 100 on their Attack roles.

If I ever update the achivements list I might just have to put some ones in for the three bois.

An example for one of Red Eye's ones.
Never interrupt a Cyborg T Rex on his way to a Rave: Equip Red Eyes with a laser based weapon and a sonic weapon than have him defeat an enemy ambush.

... If you guys can guess the video that inspired that one.... well good for you.
