Shouldn't we wait until our recruits are trained until we go after the super charged ghoul? Would probably lead ti better survival rate and help actually kill him.

-[X] DIY LootingPart 2: Well, you've got the rig set up, might as well use it. It'll take a while, you can only really fit one person on this thing at a time… and they'll have to put the supplies on in small chunks until the place is empty, might take a few days. ((Counts as 2 actions) Time: 5 days, Reward: Looted Hardware, tools, lumber, sheet metal, that sort of thing.)
-[X] I Can't Hear You 2!: You have your recruits, but they sure as hit aren't ready yet! Whip them into shape! ( 50% chance of successful training, ? days of successful training required to finish.)
-[X] The Tools of Medicine Part 1, The Basic's: William, the most notable of the people you had managed to rescue from the golf course, was a doctor, like professionally trained and everything. You really are glad you had bothered to look for survivors there now. But a doctor still needs some sort of tools to do his work. He has, of course, asked for your aid in obtaining some. (Time: Until you find some. Reward: William can begin diagnosis and treatment of minor Maladies.)
-[X] Fixing Things: The truck got pretty banged up on your little trek down to Detroit, the windows blown out, lots of dent's, probably should try to remove that "Slick" stuff from it…. Honestly car's are kinda important, might want to look into getting more specialized tools for repair, maybe start building a proper garage sometime instead of letting them rust in the acid rain… (Reward, Truck is fixed to the best of your ability, start thinking about better way's to keep your cars maintained.
-[X] Watch-Bot: Program it to patrol the edges of the Super Duper Mart, and sound an alarm if it encounters anyone not in it's memory. IN PROGRESS! (Reward: 50% chance of detecting intruders into the super mart, Will attempt to incapacitate said intruders with its Taser Prongs.)
-[X] Continuing Robot Repair: You've fixed up the Eye-bot, but theres a whole lot of pile left, lets see what else you can pull from it! (Total day's taken depends on rolls and resource availability. Results upon complete vary depending on rolls.)
Honestly training people would help with hunting Charlie down, if we get injured then that will probably cost us in some way.

Yeah... you'll see what I was talking about earlier at the end of this one.
Otherwise you got mostly good rolls this turn! So that's nice.
Anyway's, Read, Comment, Vote, And have fun with it!

Well, the lift you set up worked. You went down first, with a gun, just to make sure there wasn't anything still living inside the place, when it came up clean you went back up and told the Scav team who'd come with you that it was all clear. You'd stuck around to see the first haul. A bunch of chainsaws and other assorted power tools.
So far, things were going well.
(Day 1 haul: 4 chainsaws, 2 Ripper's (non-military), 8 nail guns, 3 welding torches, 6400 Square yards of plywood, 500 yards of Barbed wire, 550 pounds of concrete mix)

Roll: 78. Success!
Since your little group of eight had some basic physical fitness already, you decided to get them able to aim a gun and a hit a target. You'd seen how strong the ghouls were, trying to get up close with them was a bad idea without any armor.
It… wasn't perfect, but you seen some small improvement in their shooting, Alessandra had already known a bit, so she did well, but the rest were only barely hitting the impromptu targets you had set up, and that was by the end of it!
But you were confident you could whip them into… something useful given a while more time.
Hopefully you would get the chance.

No luck.
The Scav team found nothing but a few rolls of bandages in the rubble of various homes. While those were useful… they weren't anywhere near enough. You weren't gonna give up though, you needed those tools.
You were just gonna have to keep searching, probably going to have to head out further afield if you wanted to find anything good.
A job for tomorrow, you suppose.

Well… there wasn't much you could do about the busted up wind shield right now, but you could work out the dent's, do a check over the engine, the basic stuff.
The Slick, whatever the hell it was, was stubborn as all get out, you had to result to burning it off with a butane torch, at least went up in flames real quick. But nothing else had even made it budge, it was like it had bonded itself with the metal...
If you were gonna make any more trips into the city, you really needed to figure out what the fuck this stuff was.
You also needed a proper garage to work with, the tools you had salvaged from your house worked, but the acid rain was beginning to show its effect on the metal of the cars, they needed their own shelter or else they would rapidly be reduced to uselessness, you'd give it only a few months before they corroded beyond your ability to salvage.

You spent your afternoon just finishing up on the programming for the eyebot you had patched up, a first alert system would be a god send after all.
It didn't take much time to finish, You just had register the faces of your little group into the things database, and hook it up to the store intercom system to form a basic alarm.
You felt a bit of pride in a job well done as you watched the thing go off and start the first of its endless patrols. Hopefully the work would pay off!
-[X] Continuing Robot Repair: You've fixed up the Eye-bot, but theres a whole lot of pile left, lets see what else you can pull from it! (Total day's taken depends on rolls and resource availability. Results upon complete vary depending on rolls.)
Roll for finds: 95.
In the last hours of daylight, you had decided to take a look at the pile of robot parts you had gotten back in tarp town, to see what else you could salvage… you'd found something, it had been in pieces, and you had no idea what model of robot they assembled… but I had a lot of guns in Boxy structure.
Apparently it was made by Rob-co… some new prototype design or something?
Well from the pieces you had found you had some idea of what it would look like when it was put together.
A bit of an odd design, but it would work, and it would bring a decent amount of firepower if you could get it running.
It was gonna be project though, this thing was real busted up when you found it.
But you weren't one to turn away from a challenge, so onto the "to-do" list it goes!

It was early in the morning when the eye bot first proved its worth.
The alarm woke you and most of the store up, just like it was supposed to, and you rushed over to the terminal you had set up so you could get a look at what the little bot was seeing.
Well the good news is that it wasn't ghouls… you weren't certain if there was bad news yet.
The eye bots camera was showed a group of humans… and what looked like a school bus, All in… pretty bad shape the humans were grimy and covered in filth, several had noticeable wounds, they were tired, and visibly defeated.
Meanwhile the bus was covered in what you knew was "The Slick."
They did not look good.
Dominating the view feed, was the face of one man in particular, who had at least followed the "Halt" message you had programmed into the little drone, specifically for humans. He look harried, anxious, and not really like leader material. But who you were you to judge?
The man was talking… but you had not put any microphones on the damn robot! That… that had been a bit of an oversight.
Something to fix in the future then.
But you had verified you weren't in immediate danger… so you guess it was time to greet your "Guest's."
XXXXXXXXXXXX
"Oh thank God!"
The man had said when you first showed up, with a small entourage of your little fighting force in training in tow.
"Look I know you don't know us… but the guy at the restaurant didn't have any more room, and he told us there was a group taking people in further north, you don't know how bad we've had it the past few days!
The man rambles a bit, before you decide to interrupt.
"You have my sympathies, but we've all had it bad, the past few days, if you hadn't noticed the world kinda ended. Now would you be so kind to tell me who you people are?"
The man looked a little abashed, but at least he stopped rambling.
"Uh… y-yeah sorry, it's just been a rough night, My name is Jack… Jack Werner… uh as for who we are and why we're here… Uh the guy in the restaurant told us to give you this."
Then he handed you an old advert for a Mac Burger Restaurant.
You stared at him condescendingly.
"It's on the back! I promise!"
You decide to humor the man, and flip the flyer over.
To your surprise theres a little message written in ink on the back.

Hey Alex, Alessandra.
Whichever one of you is getting this… It's me, your pal Sizzler!
Things have gone to shit down in the city.
The Slick just ate everything up to a mile away from the River, so… that isn't great.
The Tiger's killer's fell apart after one of their guys found a suit of power armor and a gatling gun, fuck knows where they found something like that, and decided to try to take over the gang… The Gang apparently broke apart in the fighting, into three smaller ones.
Then the biggest piece vanished and all we know is that the Terror Flock now has a suit of Power Armor and a lot more members, so they were probably involved.
Then the Sieger's of the Whitney Building apparently decided they had enough common sense to leave The Slick.
They forced the other two remnants of the Tiger Killers into the fold… Then they Attacked Tarp town.
That was about two days ago, and it's where these unfortunate Schmucks come into the picture.
Yeah, it isn't called tarp town anymore. The Sieger's call it Winners Ville now.
Those guys just stomped the tarp town defense force it took two days, but once they got into the stadium it was all over, they killed hundred's of the people there, although they apparently didn't bother attacking anyone who left of their own accord.
There were at least a hundred people who made it up to my place though. Surprised the hell out of me and Marguerite!
I took in as many as I could, but I don't have anywhere near enough food for all of them, not enough room either.
So I Remembered my pals from up north! I told the people I couldn't fit that there was a group further out in the Royal Oak Area based out of a Super-Duper mart that they could try for. They apparently decided it was better than nothing.
I gave them this letter so you'd know it was legit. Anyway… Sorry for putting this on ya, but there's only so much I can do for so many ya know?
Best of Luck to ya!
Sizzler.

Well... Shit.
Do you take these guys in? It'll strain your food supply even more... but some extra hands wouldn't hurt.

Ravioli Ravioli, I'm running out Good Byes in foreign languages-oli
Many hands make light work after all. This also will give us some experience with integrating new people into our group. We'll need to make sure that we get some sort of food production up and running soon, as well as getting beds for all the new people.
Now that I think about it, we might want to do something to help the people at Mac-Burger. We'll need to clear the path between our two locations first, even if it's just enough that the vehicles can easily go back and forth, before we can do anything major. Then we can look into things like fortification and expansion.
