It wasn't living but towed by that monster at the front. for the record both the black hole and the monster had the diameter the same as the Earth.
Energy-wise kicking apart a wormhole like this would require at least many thousands of times of what is released during a supernova. Maybe even millions of times.

Shield perforators neutralize enemy shields by destabilizing shield harmonics -- basically draining them. Something that size will take time to completely deplete, but we can start if you think that's alright.

So, as you can see, the shield perforators are far from instant I WIN buttons. They're less effective against heavily shielded targets like capitol ships and world engines, and they are effectively useless against kinetic barriers.
Though thankfully energy weapons go clean through kinetic barriers anyway.

Shields are at 40% and dropping like a rock.
Phoenix has performed a combat jump and is directly behind the dreadnought. STG-11 Fleet 3 has activated their perforators and are currently whittling the shields down.
They have also launched their entire fighter complement, some ~1200 fighters in all, and their sixteen Hammerhead-class Destroyers.
