[ ] Civilization - The nearest settlement of any note whatsoever would be the City of Beginners, Naeviston, a sprawling seaside establishment with glorious alabaster walls, extensive parks, and massive roads of polished stone. It's as much a city as a decorative monument with citizens. Its central temple and the plaza in front were often called by the beta testers as the 'omphalos of the spawn area,' or 'that place you always come back to, either to turn in a quest or because you fucking died.' It's definitely worth visiting to spend your starting money on some better starting gear.
[ ] North - There's not much further north you can get than Naeviston, but assuming you aren't interest in exploring the cities immediately, you could get a boat ride across the channel to the northwestern continent that neither you nor the beta tester guides know anything about. A bold move; I applaud it, sir.
[ ] East - According to the map you received, across the Jaldirem Bay, one may find a number of interesting places in their own right: Fang Crag Mountain Monastery, the City of Horunka, the City of Rovia, and many others! There's also plenty of tough bosses and interesting dungeons.
[ ] South - South of the Bay is, in order: Hills, mountains, plains, more mountains, craggy mountains, and then, the infamous Yofel Wasteland. Allegedly, there's a lot of mystical locations there - and the fact that beta testers weren't too keen on sharing many of their secret findings tells you everything you need to know.
These were the options last time, and there was that hamlet we passed by on the way towards the Edge. Let's discuss our travel options.. Also, if Wizz died then he could use some time to clear his head. Let the chaos settle down first?
