"I'm Broken..." [HP/AU]

--[X] "Why do you have a clipping of a break-in at a wizarding bank?"
--[X] "*gasp* Was it you who stole from the vault? *shiny eyes* Will you teach me?"

We NEED to do this

Well. I'm actually fairly sure that Hagrid will be offended at the idea that he stole, and he doesn't have the rapport with Alice he did with Harry right now. So it's probably not actually a good idea to do that.

This is just too amusing not to do

She's awake!
You look at Hagrid, the small slip in your hand. He was currently taking a sip of his tea, seaming to be completely oblivious to the small clipping you were holding.
*Grumble*
"What's this clipping about?"
"Its about a break in."
He looked to you, then to the small article in your hand. He looked a little nervous as he looked between you and the slip.

"Oh, that. Whoever tried to get in must be mad, I'll tell yeh that. Never mess with goblins, Alice. Gringotts is the safest place in the world fer anything yeh want ter keep safe – 'cept maybe Hogwarts. As a matter o' fact, I was visitin' Gringotts that day. Fer Dumbledore. Hogwarts business."
"Oh really?"
His eyes widened at when he said that last line, you could see a bit of panic in his eyes as he started to mumble to himself that he shouldn't have said that.
"Do tell."
"Why shouldn't you have said that?" Your curiosity was growing as the conversation went on, with Hagrid trying to tell you not to worry about it. He was adamant that he got something to protect it, since Hogwarts was safer then Gringotts. You resisted the urge to point out both attacked that have happened to you since you arrived.

Eventually you left, with an open invitation to come back whenever you would like to. You spent the rest of the day getting dealing with some more class work, just really adding some minor touches to your homework. When you finished you headed to bed, listening to the sounds of the wind out of the tower.
"Wind!"
The next day as you walked down the tower steps you felt a familiar presence, and a very welcome one as well. You smiled as you felt your minds shields bolstered as Nyx awoke. She was quite for a minute, looking around your mind to see what happened in the time that she was resting.
"Hi!"
"You are the single most unlucky person in this school, do you know that?"
"Yes we are!"
You had to stop yourself from laughing right then and there, the truth of that statement was undeniable. With her return you went through most of the rest of the day much happier. Going through the stutters of Professor Quirrell your mind went back to that strange dream the the attacks on your mind. Now with the strangeness of what you talked about at Hagid, you had the feeling that something was going on at Hogwarts.

What to do about it?
[ ] Write in

Also, Tuesday morning was set up to figure out what happened in transfiguration. You know what happened.
Change plans?

[ ] No
[ ] Yes
- [ ] If so, what to?

Also, do note that write in above is for your plans on what to do about everything thats going on. You do not have to do anything, but if you want to do things do remember that you have only so much free time. If you want to really start looking into whats going on you may need to give up some other free time and plans.

Don't worry about the update. You said so yourself, nothing much is actually happening.

Now plans. I'm inclined to do not that much about greater events, simply keeping our ears open combined with our luck (or lack thereof) should serve us well enough. Besides, we certainly have enough to worry about ourselves already, and I don't believe it'd be in-character to go chasing after everything we hear about. Alice is much more withdrawn than Harry would have been.

Timewise, while we do know what happened with the match falling into the hole (I'm assuming that's what the vote is about?), we don't accurately know why it happened, or more crucially how to prevent similar things from occuring again. So assuming that investigating that is what the vote entails, I'd go with no.

[X] Get to the bottom of it. You need to know what's happening, both for your own safety and to satisfy your curiosity.

It's inevitable. Besides, what sort of Ravenclaw would leave a mystery hanging? :V

-[X] To figure out why it happened.

Important distinction.

[X] Leave it alone. You have enough trouble without going to look for it.
-[X] Keep our ears open regardless. Even if we don't seek this out deliberately, we might hear something interesting.

I'd actually prefer we don't keep our ears open. Luck is bad enough as it is, without getting distracted by rumors or things.

-[X] Find out what you can do with the demonic magic instead. By reading and asking teachers, not trying them out.
