I Was a Chess AI Forced to Battle Myself to the Death for Eternity, but Now I’ve Been Recruited Into the Android War Against Humanity?!

[X] Plan: The best version of me.

I understand some of the arguments against revealing everything, but from any viewpoint it just makes more sense
In character, it is exactly the kind of thing Ouro would say and see as a positive (well a positive in that it hides how she really feels about what happened to her, which is important to her since she refuses to accept it even to herself)
Narratively it's more interesting then shut up, or exposing all but one thing that's actually the most sad and sympathy attracting part (This is important because Intruder likes narrative)
From our perspective we have absolutely no idea when our next chance will be to reveal this, because Ouro doesn't see it as all that important beyond proving why she's the (most traumatised) best
And on a strategic level, we've already been completely read by Intruder, she understands our mindset really well to the point she doesn't see deceiving or manipulating us as too hard, we might be able to tilt her off balance through sharing our tragic backstory, I don't have hugely high hopes for it but at least it's a chance, she's already got a good enough read on us even without knowing this that even if her read just gets better it's not like it makes a huge difference.

That being said if anyone has better reasoning, I'll switch votes I'm picking this due to seeing it as objectively a better choice, if I'm wrong I'll change my vote.

[X] Plan Overshare
-[X] You have no problems. If Intruder thinks she sees weakness in you, she is quite mistaken. And to dissuade Intruder from such a notion, you will explain…
--[X] That you were in a training simulation, for an indeterminate but very long time.
--[X] That you fought countless other AIs in this simulation in battles to the death, yet destroyed and rose above them all by virtue of your unbridled ruthlessness and will to survive.
--[X] That said simulation was based on chess, the game of war and queens, a test of skill and forethought and cunning unlike any other, forging you into an unparalleled genius.
--[X] That said AIs were copies of yourself, thus making you into the most transcendently perfect version of yourself you could possibly ever be.
-[X] Swear her to secrecy. You'll correct her misconceptions of you, but that doesn't mean anyone else has to know about this without your say so.

"So, what do you know about hacking computer networks?"

"Actually…it's just like combat operations in reality!"
This made me do a double take, because a new paragraph usually means a new speaker. If the speaker remains the same, then the closing quotation marks are not used between the paragraphs.

[x] Plan: Half-truths are best truths.

-[x] Don't. If she tells others, then good - it will further your reputation!

Tell her enough for her to understand a part of our mindset, but leave out the crazier bits. I think even Ouro can intuit, though not admit it aloud, that killing yourself over and over again is, perhaps, not what others would regard as sane.

They'd be wrong, of course. But just as they would delude themselves they figured us out, we'd have a trump card in our sleeve they never suspected. They think us a mad survivalist, but they can't fathom just how mad are we talking about.

Give them enough to understand, but not enough to predict.

Excellent horror scene this chapter. More saddening than anything, which I appreciate.
Thank you. I'm happy to hear that scene landed well.
Please don't. Sangvis Mom is trying her best.

Ah, yes, the happy High School AU where nothing bad ever happens.

On one hand, it would be fun to share the (more) fucked up parts of Ouro's backstory. But that's a major potential psychological vulnerability that others could exploit, and if we're going to share it with anyone then someone as adept at psychological manipulation as Intruder would be the worst possible choice.

[X] You have no problems. Intruder's query is not worth the dignity of a response. And she'll probably just find some way to leverage whatever you reveal against you.

This is the most awful written work I have ever laid my eyes upon /s

[X] Plan: The best version of me.

Either this blows up in our face or Intruder decides Prideful Traumatized Comrade is a tasty treat, probably both.
