So apparently Link's costume in the Majora's Mask DLC Pack is a full on swap to the Fierce Deity Model Young Link uses.

That is awesome. The other costumes........... not so much. Sure Zelda with the Bunny Mask is cute, and Ganondorf rocks the Odolwa Mask, with Midna having the Ordon Shield as her mask being a nice callback to Twilight Princess, but the rest can be downright creepy.

Especially Zant's. The Troupe Leader's Mask makes it look like he ripped off Gormani's face and put it on his helmet.

And of course since Lana has the Skull Kid Outfit, and Cia has Majora's Mask people are already speculating that this lends credence to the "Majora is Female" theory.
 
Oh hey, this is actually kind of neat.

Wha? When did they put the OoT / SS / TP skins for Link Zelda and Ganondorf on the eshop?

    Ganondorf and Cia earn new costumes from this mode.

    Plus the other "new mode" will be a Boss Challenge Mode where you compete for high scores and get new costumes, though only Link, Zelda and Lana have been confirmed. They are likely getting new Skins, the rest are probably just getting recolors again, possibly split between the new modes.





    Also in addition to the free update giving us new potions, a higher level cap and new medals to earn that bug which delays the loading time is going to be fixed!

    So what does everyone think of the last DLC announced for Hyrule Warriors?

    It just seems to be a little bit underwhelming. A boss challenge mode, yay. Because we haven't been killing these bosses for so long that it's become routine.

    I love Hyrule Warriors, but this DLC just seems like a flop to me. It's not the swan song this game deserves, it's a goose honk.
     
    So having failed to find any info elsewhere, can someone explain to me what's going on here? I started the Termina adventure map and after only four battles the moon crashed and reset the map, while the tutorial says that only an hour passes per battle. So, understandably I hope, I'm rather confused.

    That happened with me as well, I think it's just so that you see it happen.

    You see that number at the bottom center of the adventure map screen? That's how many battles you get before the moon drops and you have to play the Song of Time... Err, I mean you have to start all over on clearing the map.
     
    Am I missing something? It says the DLC is installed but I don't have access to the Termina adventure map or Tingle.

    Does the system say the DLC is installed, or does the game say it's installed? If the game says it isn't, but the system says it is, drop to the home menu, start the game again, and if that fails, restart the system.

    Also, simple way to tell if the DLC is active? Go to the Gallery and look for Young Link and Tingle.

    Secret Unlockable Character confirmed for the Boss Pack.

    Giant Cucco.

    Well admittedly they had to come up with something even more terrfiying then Ganon, and this fits the bill.

    Especially since one of it's attacks summons The Dreaded Cucco Swarm.

    • I am in Europe, and therefore now have the Boss Pack.
    Right, time to get back to Hyrule Warriors and getting everything from the maps.
    ...I still need to get past Zelda's Rank 2 Baton. Joy.
     
    So boys and girls here are the last five Costumes for Hyrule Warriors, each one based on a "Giant Boss"

    Lana and Cia are "meh" with Dodongo and Manhandla colors respectively.

    Admittedly he looks like a yeti of some sort, but it's still a pretty interesting color scheme.
