a slight bonus to it yes, also there is no exact ratio though expecting 15! FIFTEEN! mages of any kind that cheaply is insane. So san do we gain a plus persuasion on Our proposal since 4 levels of food ain't cheap no matter how you look at it also in a food to unit ratio how much food is 15 twili mages worth?
here is a rough range with your food levels as the baseline.
1: .5-3 mages for a year.
2: 1-6 mages for a year
3: 1.5-9 mages for a year,
4: etc.
it depends on how much they need the food, how much they like AND respect you, how well you bargain it, how good the mages are, and many other variables, given Twili mages are some of the best, I can't see you guys getting more than 2.5 mages for a year per food level given to them for a year and that is IF you roll a crit on negotiations.
1: they don't have a large regular army they have a POWERFUL army but that is mostly because of their mages.Wants- Metal, Stone, Mage assistance (research and training)
This is in addition to the previous request of alliance, marriage and open trade.
Mages in combat would be covered by the alliance.
Moving we can offer having to face only the moblins and even there we have a wall and fortified city with siege equipment. A combined garrison between our nations would work well to hold it against an attack
2: atm Midna is very unlikely to accept the military alliance because you are offering her people no real benefit for it since you can't help them at all.
3: they only face the gerudo currently, and they are doing alright at war they just can't get enough food.
4: I will warn you it is INSANELY expensive to train mages of any kind and you will soon be able to begin training faith based mages (priests) so might not be a good idea to try and do both especially if they end up joining your nation through marriage. (Plus Twili magic is not very well suited for Ordonians or Hylians to learn.)
