I had to pick between Scia and Roach essentially for who got yeeted, neither of which i considered to be really that great of picks but neither did I consider them that horrific, and honestly Roach just is more active. Between that and a legitimate serious want to test my theory about Nictis I figured it wasn't that huge of a trade either way and went with it.

Like I think either of them would've been FINE I guess but neither of them would've been my first pick at the time (I mean there's a reason I declared who I was going to shoot at EOD, and voted at Start of D2 for.

As for voting Zaea, it seems prudent when caught out by a Miller claim to at least pressure it right.

Fwiw I rate Zaea just getting punked by the setup as higher odds than actual mafia and I think the issue was more I got busy IRL and didn't get around to actually applying further pressure beyond the vote, which I mean is my bad.

Could be a case of every vanilla being a miller, would absolutely be a layer of bastardry.

Honestly Doc outing themselves d2 to ratchet up 3P paranoia feels like Scum Doc to me, and Zaea focusing on 3P stuff instead of Mafia also concerns me greatly, especially when the only confirmed thing we have is that 99L was nightkilled by what appears to be a mafia kill color.

Today on assumptions that are not safe: "red kill means specifically mafia." We fuck with kill colors regularly in normal games, this is a game that actively advertises it will lie to you, for all I know that's your kill color.

I think that's fair but like there has to be SOME assumptions made here to not descend into paranoid rambling and until I'm proven otherwise I'm going to operate under this premise.

Right. Or, alternatively... it could be a hint that we actually do have an Arsonist in the game. For now I'm inclined to believe Logos at least and operate under the assumption that they're Doctor, at least. Could just be Hugh fing with us, but as you say, we can't assume everything is a lie.

Okay listen: How does voting me for trusting a Miller make sense?
Like, the WAY I approached the question of Nictis is not that I was thinking he was scum.
The Miller reveal WOULD make sense as a reversal if I HAD been saying Nictis is Scum- I think at this point he said it due to me vouching for him, which would ruin the surprise and doubt for other people-I I'm trustworthy, Nictis becomes trustworthy, and thus Nictis doesn't get caught out by a cop.

That's the information driving me to trust Nictis.
LDJ also has taken his own look that reinforces that fact, but that's where it started for me.
And because I check for those 3P roles I didn't catch on the Miller thing…

So, Logos would have been your first pick then? Interesting. You mentioned you would pull some quotes that made you suspect him, I would like to see them, if possible.

Caught out? Am I missing something here? How was Zaealix caught out by the Miller claim? Zaealix' defense just posted makes sense to me.

Sorry, I'm back. I don't really have any good suspicions at the moment. As far as Zaealix is concerned I forgot to unvote them, I was pressuring because the Perfectly Normal Towncore seemed like it might have been a copping, which would have been a verifiable lie.

I've kinda gotten bored of the RP. Was planning on doing like a three-day bit where I cycled from Seraphim to Alien Conspiracy Theorist then went into cheesy soldier from Independence Day/EDF/Starship Troopers/XCOM soldiers, but eh. I'm tired of it.

Also, thinking there's good odds that a Cult does not exist. I also have mention of a cult in my rolecard, but I'll hold the specifics for now in case it becomes relevant later.

Oh, and I think that we flip as our actual roles instead of the roles we see on our rolecards. If I think that I'm gonna go out I'll share what my role name should be.
 
My Townreads were all gut btw. Zaealix was just acting super Town Day 1, and that's still keeping up. Still had to pressure what might be a major slip y'know?
 
Miller is how part of my role would be described, but I go by a completely different title that matches the fluff of my role.
 
It is way too quiet. Can someone try to stir up activity for me? I'd do it myself but I have some stuff going on at the moment.

I'm like the only person trying to go against the grain and am actually like doing stuff so I think that's a good enough reason in and of itself, honestly if people are this quiet I want to hang quiet people.

You shouldn't vote me because I have been somewhat active (at least, not as inactive as others), and I've been earnest in my interactions today. I hope I can mechanically provide some actual value in the future, but at the moment I don't have anything worth sharing. Also, I'm Town, which is simultaneously the biggest reason not to vote me and the least informative.

Honestly I think pressure would be better spent in other places. So, @ComiTurtle @Chiperninerm @Draxy : you have a one-shot dayvig you can only use today. Who are you shooting and why? This is also open to anyone I just wanted to get some more out of the people that haven't stuck with me so far this game.

Also, @Wies @Logos I know you two have contributed D2, so I'd just like your general perspectives on gut reads given what's been said so far. I'm fine with reiterating old info, but something new would be preferable in addition.

For myself, I don't have any 100% trusted reads but I'm inclined to believe Logos', Nictis', and Zae's claims at the moment. Among the rest of the group, nothing's really standing out as truly alignment indicative. I might lean Draxy as Town, since I have a hard time believing they'd claim PR if they were Scum, and Shadell's early meme posts kind of make me think they're vanilla Town. But just vibes really.
 
I think this game is focused on limited information and gather capability. We have Zaealix with their ability to find the Arsonist, Cult Leader and Serial Killer. There's Logo's who's night results supports the Arsonist's existence. Then there is Nictis's own role which seems to be sharing a different set of information everyday.

I've been busy DMing today and have other tasks as well so I'll give the short answer. I would target Nic to get confirmation on his role. His changing RP has me worried that there's a time bomb hidden in his role. Pairing that info with only one shot and only one the second day suggests to me that my role was designed to deal with such a role.

If I just had one shot without a time limit I would pick a different target and go into details later.

Allergies have spilled into a migraine, making both reading and thinking hurt. Sorry, but I really don't have much at the moment. I have asked if any more subs are available, but failing that I'm hopeful that tomorrow this will clear up enough that I'll be able to give the day a quick re-read rather than skimming in the scant time the medicine works.
