Sorry, not convenient "I cast Heal!".This is not a good situation, really. Can we use an item or is that impossible in battle?
...why the fuck did no one realize that we have techniques that automatically defeat Rushes. What the hell were you people thinking?
I think it's because we only had a few votes this round and no-one else thought up a better plan so this happened....why the fuck did no one realize that we have techniques that automatically defeat Rushes. What the hell were you people thinking?

No, but from now I'll comment on every plan.
I don't recommend it. Taking off 6 Health points in two actions isn't very likely, and you would get hit in return. Offing the one with 1 Health point left should be a higher priority.[X] That he can't let something like this beat him if he's going to live up to Garo's example. He must stand strong.
I think this might work.
[X] Sword Strike, Sword Strike on Horror 2, Grapple on Horror 1, Block, Rush, Sword Strike on Horror 3
Horror 2 doing Rushes is a little tricky, but if we do Sword Strike on it that should kill it since it has 6 Health left. We need to worry about clashing with the other two though.
After that a Grapple on action 3 will kill Horror 1.
Then a Block to hopefully recover any Health we might lose, and then I just went with a Rush and Sword Strike on Horror 3.
Again, I don't recommend using Sword Strike against a Rush. A simple Rush defeats Strikes, so use Sword Strike against Rush-Techniques that doesn't defeat Strikes.[X] Rising Sword Strike on Horror 1, Reed in the Wind, Grapple, Sword Strike, Sword Strike, Grapple on Horror 4
I'm not sure when we'll defeat 4, so sticking to moves that defeat what it's doing, and also aren't defeated by or defeat what 5's doing.
But it clearly states in the description that Sword Strikes defeat Rushes.Again, I don't recommend using Sword Strike against a Rush. A simple Rush defeats Strikes, so use Sword Strike against Rush-Techniques that doesn't defeat Strikes.
See?SWORD STRIKE: OOOOOOOOOO
Cost: —; Range: Close/Still or Back; Type: Strike
Clash Roll: Dexterity + Sword Strike
Damage: Strength + 3 – opponent's Stamina (min 1)
The Knight strikes with his sword, hitting the opponent with a powerful strike. This technique defeats Rushes.
But it clearly states in the description that Sword Strikes defeat Rushes.
See?
Edit:...wait, that means we should've beaten all those Rushes in the last round!
When two techniques both defeat the other one, is a Hit Trade. It means both hits the other one.RUSH: OOOOOOOOOO
Cost: —; Range: Mid/Advance; Type: Rush
Clash Roll: Dexterity + Rush
Damage: Strength – opponent's Stamina (min 1)
Merit: automatically defeats Strikes.
...So we have no actual attacks that defeat Rushes and don't result in Hit Trades then? When two techniques both defeat the other one, is a Hit Trade. It means both hits the other one.
Well, Sheath Throw defeats Rushes. We only have a single dot in it, but if it succeeds automatically that shouldn't matter....So we have no actual attacks that defeat Rushes and don't result in Hit Trades then?
Edit: Wait, I went back and found fights where Sword Strikes cleanly defeat Rushes, so you're giving us mixed signals.
Like I said, those were Rush-Type Techniques, not simple Rushes. The former didn't defeat Strikes....So we have no actual attacks that defeat Rushes and don't result in Hit Trades then?
Edit: Wait, I went back and found fights where Sword Strikes cleanly defeat Rushes, so you're giving us mixed signals.
Oh whoops, right.Well, Sheath Throw defeats Rushes. We only have a single dot in it, but if it succeeds automatically that shouldn't matter.
Not true.Like I said, those were Rush-Type Techniques, not simple Rushes. The former didn't defeat Strikes.

Those were a mistake on my part, I forgot that Rush defeats Strikes.
Ugh, ok. Changing my plan again then. Those were a mistake on my part, I forgot that Rush defeats Strikes.
So, a list of which one of Tetsuya's techniques is best to use against a certain Action?Ok can I suggest something?
You make a post with what techniques defeats what written plainly, instead of people having to go and check individual techniques and what they all beat, or some vague mentions of certain techniques beating others without listing the order of them.
Then everyone can reference it when making combat plans, and it'll be quick and easy.
That combined with a direct and easily references rock-paper-scissor on what technique beats what would be good too.So, a list of which one of Tetsuya's techniques is best to use against a certain Action?
And could you please edit Sword Strike so it says 'Hit Trades with Rushes' instead of beats them. This talk about the difference between Rush-types and Rushes is confusing. So, a list of which one of Tetsuya's techniques is best to use against a certain Action?
