Well, I don't remember much of my lore but imagine if your kickass warrior society just heard that one of your soliders was the actual, living, breathing, powerful reincarnation of... Horus, and Apep was getting ready to eat the universe again.

He'd become a celebrity of the highest order and it would either become hard for him to move willy nilly, or it'd become way too easy and suddenly thousands of lives would hang on his every word. Probably both.

I don't know if this means the day of thunder is coming up or what, due to the aforementioned lore shakiness, but based on what we've seen happening in the shadowlands, it probably means Fu Leng is back in business.

If that's the case then we'd probably get that Jade at least :U
 
Honestly, I figured we should tell the truth, not because I am worried about the Nothing, but because that way our allies can help protect us from being ganked by Hitomi's reincarnation.
 
I am just worried about telling the truth here and not where our Lorders can better make use of it.

One Wai or th other... we will not return to Crab lands rigth away.

Oh, the Kaiu Heavy Armor that Sosuke got from his mother is perfectly fine. It's scuffed up a bit and could use some polishing, but fine. That tetsubo he wielded has just been the standard issue one he's had for years by this point.

So just to sumerize but since we left Crab lands we have:

A.Killed an Oni.
B.Rescued an important artifact from the clutches of the Shadowlands/Nothing.
C.Shadow of the Colossus'd a copy of one of the greatest traitors to ever come from Rokugan.

We are going to be rolling in Glory when we get back aren't we?
 
What Status do reincarnated Kami have, I wonder. That may be an awkward situation for everyone.

Sosuke also needs to work on overcoming the self deception he's been cultivating. He needs to know and accept himself.

There's a time for secrets and a time when they harm more than anything else. Sosuke needs to tell people, not because of pride or arrogance. It's because he's just become a high value target. There are only two ways of dealing with that. Obscurity, or ratcheting up the security. Basically he's going to need the support and resources increased fame would give him to survive and continue the fight.

Keeping it secret would have him become 'A guard' again. A famous guard yes, but one that has duties to guard someone else. And that's not going to be good when the enemy likely knows exactly what you're doing.
