[x] Sirrocco
It's time for sleep. In truth, it's past time. You were already fatigued, but the bath relaxed you too much. It helped ease your aches, but the cost was what energy you had left. You just hadn't noticed it yet, distracted as you've been.
Even still, you take the time to finish your meal. There is still food left, and you will not waste it. Supplies are rationed carefully on the Wall, for vast portions of your territory cannot grow anything. What little fertile land remains is unable to feed your Clan's vast armies, so the idea of not finishing a meal offends you on a deep, personal level.
The food has gone cold by this point, but it is little matter. If it is still edible, you will eat it. Fish, rice and vegetables are consumed quickly, and soon enough you leave the dining hall and call a servant over. He bows deeply, and then directs you to where your room has been prepared.
Naturally, it is located next to where Yasuki Goro has been placed. There should be little chance of danger for your Lord, but you still have a duty to perform. It's a matter of principle, and one the Dragon understand clearly.
You stare at Yasuki Goro's door, considering. A lot has happened to you in the last few hours, and while you don't understand much of it Yasuki Goro has shown himself to be wise. Perhaps if you relate your experience he can glean some advantage?
Yes, that sounds like the best course of action. When in doubt, consult with your superior. That in mind, you knock on the door.
"You may enter," Yasuki Goro calls out.
The courtier is, once again, writing in his journal with papers strewn about. He's changed to a sleeping robe, and by the look of it he appears ready to retire soon. That means it would be best to make this visit quick.
"Yasuki-sama," you say, bowing. "I hope this evening finds you well."
"It does," he responds. "And I hope your evening is going similarly. Though I must admit, I don't intend to enjoy it for much longer."
"I apologize for intruding, my Lord," you say, bowing again. "I believed the events of today were something you might find of use. I will, of course, wait till the morning should you wish it."
"It's fine," Yasuki Goro replies, waving a hand. "Just so long as it doesn't drag on into the depths of this night." He smiles. "You and I both need to get some good sleep for tomorrow, after all."
"Of course, Yasuki-sama."
"So," he says. "Tell me what you've gotten yourself into this time, Sosuke-san."
"During my time in the baths, I encountered a woman by the name of Mirumoto Hanabi-san," you say. "She seemed quite amicable, and I joined her for dinner. We were then visited by another woman named Kitsu Himawari-san." You pause, shifting uncomfortably. "I think the two of them might have almost ventured into a duel, though I managed to prevent this."
Yasuki Goro stares at you with a flat expression, only a single eyebrow raised to show his incredulity. "I think you're going to need to explain in more detail, Sosuke-san."
