GATE: And Thus The UNDF Fought There V2

And thus everyone in power in Sadera started to hear Boss Music. Sephiroth's Boss Music, to be precise.
Even more so considering they don't have much a military left on the continent. Sure, they have many thousands of legionaries left, but leadership is FUBAR, their heavy units are all but destroyed, and all their forces outside the continent are isolated with no Navy. They had once shot to throw the UN back at Proptor and it failed. Now, they are well and truly fucked.

On another note, the low turnout and views I get nowadays does some damage to my desire to write future chapters.

you could ask the mod on space battles to briefly reopen the old thread and leave a link to the new chapters.

Here's to hoping the slaver trash meet their end, preferably with buckshot to the head and thrown into a ditch to rot away and be forgotten.

On a more serious note. How will earth treat the current vassals, tribes, dutchy's, etc that move into the earth camp and away from sadera? More importantly, how will the gods of Falmart react to the new administration once the dust settles and Sadera is put down for good?

You can check my post in previous page which just recently approved by moderator for my opinion

The short and simple is that they cannot do an intervention to save the Status Quo they love and prosper on because an External Intervention is stopping them.

The long is that their shaeningans let a Earth-Human Soul get to their level. Said newly Ascended Deity then took the form of The Doctor, attacked and hurt them, informed them that Earth Is Protected, and that now that they made their bed they will lie in it, and disappeared reminding them that "You asked for this from both Earth and the exiled Phauti, now accept the consequences of your actions".

Good riddance nonetheless. Hardy and Emroy are both bastards that should have never been gods in the first place, them and their apostles. Speaking of which, what the hell are Giselle and Rory doing during this whole fiasco?

All but one or two of the Apostles is making their way towards Alnus. The God's cannot interfere directly, but indirectly via their apostles is different, and they believe them capable of doing something.

The USDF better have a powerful taser or flamethrower to deal with Apostles. Apostles can only be defeated through dismembered so they must be either electrocuted or torched first to immobilize them and then spraying them with 50 cal to dismember them

By the way, how much is the rate of desertion and defection in the Imperial army now after Operation Whirlwind? I bet Norra and Kucy will defect to UNDF since there is no point of gathering intelligence for the loser side. Many imperial legions across the continent also would rather go AWOL than keep fighting just to die for nothing but some will keep fighting as insurgents out of loyalty.

Also much like vassal state Many Demi human tribes will no longer want to fight tor the Empire since the empire no long had any leverage left and if the Empire threats them and they just fire back that they can just go straight to the enemy line and defect

I have a feeling that either Rory, Giselle, or both would threaten the UNDF and demand them that they withdraw from Falmart entirely.
Do the gods even have the concept of foresight, or looking into the future? If no, then that is why they should never be gods in the first place. They should be guiding their followers to a more righteous path and let their civilization evolve instead of keeping their world a "Forever Garden."

From what we've seen of how the gods behave, that will never happen. If anything they behave just like the gods of Ancient Greece. Spiteful, self centered and easy to bruise their ego. If anything, this will just fuel their downfall even faster.

Isn't just me or why the UNDF did not learn the mistakes of using bullets as their main weapons, also I don't know what type of explosives they're using I bet, they're not using pure fusion weapon. Even the geneva convention is still their thing it will be a total waste of time that they're not using neutron bombs. Are they really still using gunpowder? It sounds very primitive, if you are an alien, and you see human weapons are very inferior and not impress. If they see fantasy army but with magic they'll be impressed, perhaps capturing their pesky mages, to study or experiment. Or some aliens think the power came from their brains, this will made them brain collectors.

That doesn't sound very accurate, their gods want their civilization to stay primitive forever, even though UNDF are very much advanced but the appearance are humans. So the Fermi paradox in their world hasn't broken yet, even though the UNDF are advance but human like, they never seen what aliens species from space before. If the gods of Falmart wants to know what alien civilization like, then they need to see it on their own eyes.

I think that there won't be any developments towards giving troops better gear for now since the world is still recovering from the war and keeping their military gear cost effective. While the UNDF do have exosuits, they're still a recent new development. Give 50 or 100 years or so later, then these soldiers will have better gear as seen in those of science fiction.

Just how immortal are those apostles? I really hope it doesn't turn into a rerun of Rory killing spec ops troops in Japan. And can the new Ascended Deity create apostles of its own?
Immortal enough that they can't be killed. But blown apart by autocannon fire and have their limbs separated in crates and locked safes however...

Yes. The answer to this question is yes. Much of the Imperial Army still on the continent have lost anything resembling coherence. The vassals have no reason to fear the Empire, the Demihumans recognize a winner when they see one, a winner who'll help them, and the assorted shapeshifters, fairy spies, and other intelligence operators will either fade away or continue with their own agendas.

But mass surrenders are in the cards here, Ala the Iraqi Army in 1991 and 2003.

hey how does your average undf soldier compare to a modern NATO or US one?
Think a mixture of CoD Advanced Warfare, Black Ops 3, and a smattering of early Infinite Warfare levels technology. Or let me put it to you like this, if you dropped gas on top of a UNDF formation, their helmets are already enclosed and have a filter. Only rear echelon mother fuckers will be wearing "modern" helmets as we know them. Or in training.

its over 50 years in the future after a massive war against aliens of course their going to be better equipped and possibly trained then soldiers know days the question is by how much?
My brother in christ, it's been 43 years since a war that cost just shy of half the total human population and the utter ruination of our economy and environment. Humanity won, but is far from prosperous or along the lines of what earth in the 22nd century looks like. They are still in recovery mode and the UNDF took a fucking crash course of learning technology like Japan did after Commodore Perry's arrival mixed with how quickly Israel had to form a military to defend itself against genocidal neighbors.

With this damage to the legions, Sadera is in no way able to instill discipline to its legions, let alone is capable to control territories from there.

There will already be anarchy from that alone.

The scorched earth policy adding to it will make Hans Huttig blush with someone else living up to his feat in TNO Africa.

I honestly can't wait to see the siege of the imperial capital. Maybe Molt will get the Hitler treatment, I.e slowly growing insane from his delusions that the war is still salvageable but kills himself in the end after reality crashes down hard on him…..or does more in line with zorzal? Eh, I can see it either way for both.

Now what of Pina and Diablo? How will Pina be treated by the UNDF if she becomes de-facto ruler by some miracle or act of good?

They're not really immortal if they throw them in deep space or into the sun. Or throw them in inhabitable planets such as Jupiter or Saturn.

Actually, it depends on their intelligence or Industrial revolution is, but if it is closer to type 2 civilization then it will be better equip, about in 1.5 to 1.9 civilization. If they want better and stronger soldiers and very intelligent scientist that could surpass any species in Falmart that are magic users then they'll initiate Transhumanism. Many people think Transhumanism make yourself a god but it is very arrogant to say, even though they manage survive the extinction from Phauti invasion. But nonetheless there are more species in the milky way. There are some species smarter than humans and some species are stronger than humans.

If you people didn't watch the movie called "The Orville". An alien race that lives on a planet where gravity is 10 times stronger than earth, capable to crash titanium with just bare hands and to crash anything where the things came from a planet where gravity is not strong as the earth. So the stronger the gravity, the stronger the species. I'd say that fantasy are really weak against the extraterrestrials. If any species in the milky way that has psionic powers, then it will be bad news for magic users, they view them as amateurs or child play.
