[X] Plan: We Can Be Friends Until The Revolution
-[X] Fostering Goodwill
-[X] Lock Down the California Communist Party
-[X] Approach the American People's Army
Of the two leading plans, I think that 'take power' runs the risk of throwing us into internal conflict, which will likely be pounced upon by our external enemies, or at the very least distracting us from being able to handle them. The other, I feel, gives up too much in the name of compromise - I'd rather make deals with Foster than Tyner. Social patriotism is a scourge and a plague, and inviting it into our home is just asking for us to wind up turning it down and gaining nothing because of our moral sensibilities.
As such, my plan:
1. Solidifies our internal power base, with locking down the CCP.
2. Opens negotiations with Foster, instead of Tyner - Someone who we can probably deal with on, hopefully, more palatable ground morally. I think we'll be able to make commitments to environmentalism and the USSR a lot more easily than committing to either "wars of liberation" for social patriotism.
3. Seeks to steal out Tyner's support from under him, setting us up to cripple Tyner and align Foster so as to best move forward with more radical plans to align the Politburo and handle a National Convention. It's a lot easier to convince people to 'resign' or 'persuade' them to vote for you if you have the army and security services on-side, after all.
