You scatter your attention this season, growing stronger through this and that, only truly gaining greater power over Paths. Your efforts do bare fruit though, as you gain greater ability to manipulate them, and your people gain a slight ability to navigate winding paths, as long as they have been to a destination before.
Gained Paths 3, followers have improved navigational abilities
Artifact Restoration – 1/25 successes
You try to fix the healing artifact, and a few wires slide together, and a section of the housing grows less scratched. You have no real facility with restoring or repairing things, and while your understanding of Transformation does help, it is your knowledge of Artifacts that carries the day and allows you to make even a modicum of progress. Unfortunately, in doing so you discover that it is deteriorating, and may soon stop working. Your efforts can delay this, but unless something changes you cannot stop it.
Modifying Helm – 1+5 successes/10, Quality Roll: 17
Once more you turn your attention to the armor. Now it is obvious that something is being done to it, as the bottom edge of the helm shifts, growing several small protuberances that the rest of the suit will extend out of once it is all complete. You can feel how close it is, you just need to give it a way to activate and deactivate and you will have completed this modification.
Monster Wrangling – Thresholds at 1,2,4,6,8. 6 successes
You turn the majority of your attention and power to the monsters, and to the paths that they wander. And you drive them mad with it. They spend days hunting your people, only to make a left turn and end up where they were three days ago. They crawl through the ceiling ducts and pop out a dozen levels below amidst a band of hungry ghouls. They lie in wait by a food dispenser, only to somehow get locked into a room with no exit until the merciless shifting of the tunnels provides them an escape. And not one single person died.
+5 Divine Skill
Random Event Roll: 8+5 = 13
Despite those grand successes, nothing else really goes your people's way. Oh, no nothing goes badly, but they make no wonderful discoveries, just the ordinary bland food that there's never quite enough of and some scrap. The only thing interesting is one piece of it is shinier and lighter than normal, although it's not particularly useful due to how thin and weak it is.
