So for next season we could try transforming an Artifact or food dispenser, and Transforming the monsters to have slower metabolisms, make them need to eat less and feel hungry less often.
 
Well, they aren't evil, just hungry. And that hunger would get in the way of taming on multiple levels.

Dumber seems dangerous too, what if they then decide to try to eat all the people at once instead of over time as they had been for example.
Harder to Train dumber creatures too.
 
You don't know, but in general, the more general a thing is, the more expensive, concepts tend to be more expensive than things, and supernatural stuff is the most expensive.

Can I ask why this doesn't qualify it as a Life type Domain?

They're not practicing sustainable agriculture. The only reason they haven't eaten everyone is they haven't managed it yet. As for not evil, eh. We don't know where these things come from or why they hound our people so relentlessly. They're certainly not normal animals.

You find yourself gaining a greater understanding of them, of how they move and fight, of the twisted motivations in their not-minds.

Oddly, you also realize that monster does not necessarily mean evil, just dangerous and inhuman.

We know this much. This implies that the monsters in the caves are not necessarily evil.

I am just going to say that you will not be able to use any domain to directly increase your follower's birth rate, because that's squicky. There's no in-universe reason for it, it's just not something I am going to write.

Fortune does smile upon your people in the aftermath of the great tar blob, for the broken wall reveals a treasure trove of artifacts: a beam of light bright enough to burn at the monsters, a helm that does not break, and most importantly of all, some sort of device which seems to map the caverns, although trying to understand what the thousands of symbols on the map mean will take much time and effort.

Another season of near-hunger and near-death at the hands of the monsters, but another two, twins, held almost sacred by your people, grow enough that their belief and worship strengthens you. You find yourself heartened by the evidence that your people will survive, especially as the first births occur, to grand celebrations of song and dance.

Search Control Improve
The helm is the simplest Artifact to try this on, and it may be able to be improved to render the wearer greater protection.
Obligatory monster defences.
And seeing if we can find something useful. Hopefully food related.

We had 2 successes on food last season so they should be fine til next turn.
