Here's a Question: Would Upgrade be able to turn our body to a kids body when she 'Takes Over' as our evil side?

Villainous doesn't have to mean evil, you can be a villain while still remaining sympathetic by trying to minimise collateral or holding back so nobody gets killed. Meanwhile, the villain might have a second state where they power up, but lose any sense of reason, or become sadistic monsters.

But in this case I guess that the drawback to more more power is that you temporarily give control over to a carefree and cheerful immortal being of incredible power which has little to no concept of death or lasting consequences to their actions.

Hm. I'm not sure that would make best use of tropes on duality, is my first thought. And Upgrade being a persona that's a power-up as opposed to an actor with their own goals who might just leave the present situation entirely seems... difficult to work with for the both of us?

Also, I'm not sold on tying Upgrade's playpen identity to one we're trying to form legitimate relationships in, which is the impression I get of what this is going to be doing? How seriously is Upgrade going to want to be taking this, how serious are we going to want to be taking this... All those questions.

Both Evelyn and Upgrade are slightly creeped out by the suggestion, but no. Not within any relevant timeframe. You think she's planning on some sort of transformation sequence instead.

Hm. In that case I'm leaning more towards the full-fledged identity of her own. More versatility in some ways. Still, super-powered evil side could be done well. Keeping in mind- weren't we thinking "super-powered evil-side of our own villainous persona"? How were we actually thinking that would work out again? I'm not sure I really got it when we were thinking of it at the time.
Honestly, it's about half for confusion and "lol what" value. For example:
someone too adorable to be evil

You're free to assign the "Evil Side" to any identity you want; in hindsight, I should've I included that as a default sub-option.

...I... suppose I can ruin a later moment for the sake of informed decisions. Even "Full Evil" Upgrade would just do stuff like
Upgrading something into a puppy plushie, then punting it and scowling at witnesses.

So the proposed "too adorable to be evil" subvote is actually the default.

Something we could do if we make Upgrade our evil side is have her declare us her nemesis and refuse to acknowledge that we share a body regardless of any and all evidence. Then have her whine about us never showing up to play withlose to her.

Okay yeah I would agree with any and all variations of that, that's hilarious and wonderful.

I love how our character is definitely OP, has life insurance in being possibly only the meatpuppet extension of a celestial body, and yet still there is danger in whatever spheres of existence powers exist.
It's great, isn't it? God, I love this setting.
But do they even have a chance to learn that it's not a game for humans?
I mean...yes? That doesn't mean they can completely internalize it, though. They can probably grasp the concept intellectually. But that doesn't necessarily mean it affects their behavior.
Everyone has flaws some people are extraplanar being with little idea of permanent consequences. Some people are hyper competitive apes in a society that has outgrown their social instincts. And others are enchanted world eaters on a very steict diet that think they are apes...
Oh, he's just pretending to be an ape. Big difference. Pretty sure, judging by the talk he gave Skye, and the interlude that gave us this information, he knows exactly what really he is.

Seconded.

This is a friendly reminder to vote if you support a given course of action. Half of our most active players didn't do so last time even after they discussed it a bunch.

Yup, just seein' if anyone had any other thoughts to toss into the ring here.

This seems good for the moment, 'less someone's got other ideas?

referring to the girls, not the dad

[X] Let Upgrade have a full-fledged identity of her own.
-[X] You are going to require it be heroic, though. It's not a perfect method of getting her to take collateral damage seriously, but you think it might help.
Seems like it should be good way to get her out, plus 'movies starring me' are fun.
[X] Ask Celest about her and Authority doing a similar arrangement.
Who knows, Celest might want to arrange that too.

They are the stars in their father's eye, surely he was over the moon when they were born.
Their beauty is out of this world.
Were not for their age, a Miss Universe win would be in the cards.
*appreciative groan*

I like this plan. I'd actually expect that having fun being adorbs will be rather more effective for keeping Upgrade from causing trouble, and having a "super powered evil side" that tries to be evil but just can't manage it even with the power-up seems like it's perfect for the "friendly rivals" setup we want going with our primary magical girl identity.

we'll need color coded costumes or gonna face tons of issues with people not knowing who is who.

"Are you sister 1, 2, 3, or evil side A, B, or C?"

edit. we can take it to mexican telenovela levels by adding good and evil "clones" into the mix

So if I'm understanding this right, Pregonitor only controls the powers because they allow him to? If that's true, then it raises the question of what Diety was. An overpowered power gone rogue, perhaps?

As I previously mentioned, this needs to happen. That is all.

-[x] She can pick the kind, but it sounds like she'd be a villainous bow-user?

Right, that last part, that's it.

[X] Ask Skye whether she'd postcognition the 'tweak' to our loyalty/love
