Forged Symbol (MHA Celestial Forge alt-Quirk)

How much should we reread to see what's new once revisions are complete @jansky?

Edit: Ah wait, I reread your statement above and your revisions seem to only apply to the last chapter. Sorry, I guess I missed that.

Eh, have it mentioned and have them look back at the spell and find it auto-excludes the reaction in living structures. Because I'm sorry but breathing doesn't feel the same as the rapid oxidation of material that is combustion.

If I was running this as a game I would said that the effect depended on what the initial castor of the spell considered fire at the time it was set. In other words don't give them age ideas.

The problem with this idea is that the initial caster of the spell is a flashlight. I don´t think it´s considering anything.

That's why I included the term initial so that it would be set when the flashlight was made. If it was a ongoing spell then it could be different each time but something that's like this effectively and the chanted wand the effect would be set when it was initially made.

The original system that is adapted does not work this way. It has clear defined effects not mind reading sentient magic, if you want something like that you need to use slow outdated spirit magic, instead of modern CAD spells and even than the spirits do not get their definitions of the world from the caster.

I bow to your superior knowledge of the original setting, the things I stated I just the way I normally think about magic.

Sorry about the lengthy delay, my writing time got unexpectedly cut down. I'm still planning to continue this story, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to get back to my usual writing schedule.

Well, I hope you're alright and haven't been hit too badly by writer's block.
