Moriarty? As in, Professor James Moriarty, the only man to ever keep up with and outsmart Sherlock Holmes, that Moriarty?

Are you going make him act in a similar manner? Cause that would be a really interesting to read.

I can just imagine him with a Zerg made tea cup, sipping the "Essence" of one of your enemies listing off the useful traits that could be incorporated into your Swarm.

Maybe.

I have a very juvenile sense of humor so we'll see.

That you conveniently use your 'user name' as the MC's new name and not some random name that would have come to mind.

(Shrugs)

This is still a self insert. Even if the self insertee is kinda damaged at this point. Drich goes by Drich, Tikitau goes by Tikitau, Fusou goes by Fusou so I'll be Generic and we'll be done with it.

I realize some people'll call that lazy writing but honestly that was the first related name that came to mind that I'd actually recognize. I tend to latch on to things I know and recognize, even if those things are as obscure as some random username on an internet forum.

Besides it was that or Jane the self insert. Or Bob the self insert. Or insert gender neutral name here the self insert. It'd honestly get confusing after a while. It'd be confusing to write about and it'd probably be confusing to read.

Actually Tiki goes by Gamma IIRC

Mine goes by The Network overall, but in the current universe as Sun Jian.

No one remembers my commander

I think they just try to hide the memories of you accidentally ending a galaxy via kids.

Edit: I almost forgot about Gideon's Harbinger or whatever it was.... So there's another Commander.

And don't forget mine too. I really should get back to it all things considered.

Also are we going to see some nidlike tech anytime soon or are you going pure zerg?

...

Wait there's a difference? This is news.

If you're asking 'Is Generic-SI going to do horrible horrible biological things' then the answer's going to be yes, Generic-SI is going to do horrible icky nasty biological things.

Nid tech is more full on psychic fukery than zerg tech, where Warriors act like Paladins with attack and defence boost in auras, Tyrants are Generals with an HP, MP and all stats boost aura and they also have Vampiric Bone Swords, Living Parasitic Bullets and all round Fantasy based bio weapons, where as the Zerg are full on natural with claws, acids and bioorganic viruses.

Considering the last few chapters involved Generic-SI getting mindsplattered and then proceeding to mindsplattery other people with blatant psionic fuckery then I'm going to say 'yes there are going to be psionic shenanigans'.

Zerg have individual units designed for specialised tasks. If they need to fit a need, they create an entirely new breed of Zerg. This is expensive, but the end result is very powerful and useful straight away.

Tyranids go for hot-swapping to fit changing environments and needs through the use of symbiotic weapons. For example; Warriors are powerful close combat fighters, but can drop a pair of scything talons for venom cannons and become long range anti-armour. The units are pretty weak without the symbionts and can't be deployed straight away (as they need to bond to a symbiote first), but it allows for a standardising of the units and thus reducing the overall cost.
