Honestly Amon only resisted to give everyone a big villain to unit against in the end game.
Man I hate how Blizzard seems to have this obsession with making their villains either a non threat or tied to one or two bigger threats.

I don't like Amon. He was quite literally the worst villain ever.
I'm going to be brutally honest I really hate how Blizzard handled Amon. Amon's literally an edgelord personified.
Look at these fucking lines.
He radiates maximum EDGE and GRIMDARK and EVULZ and he's just a horrible horrible villain who honest to god is trying too hard. If you have to say shit like 'Infinite cycle of strife and anguish' in a fucking melodramatic tone in order to try to scare someone you could probably squish like a bug anyways you know you've failed as a villain.
It's like seeing that gothic emo kid threatening a really buff kid with threats of darkness beyond darkness and twilight above the dawn and all sorts of cryptic as fuck dark phrases.
And then the buff kid just kinda punches the daylights out of the emo kid.
So yeah I really don't like how Blizz handled Amon.
Honestly of Amon as portrayed was so edgy I was hoping he'd cut himself on it at some point.

Also yeah Amon was a grimderp idiot who only got as far as he did because plot armor.
Amon wasnt mass effect 3 ending bad but he certainly wasn't good enough to be the big bad of Starcraft.

They got more than a few things right. Re: Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm.
What really makes me salty is Amon's fucking goals. Like, the Overmind had reasons. The Overmind had goals. The Overmind was seeking perfection which is why it did what it did. I could get that.
(Of course then blizzard fucking retconned everything but let's not open up that can of idiocy)
Amon doesn't have any fucking goals. Amon wants to break the 'corrupt cycle'
But why? 'Because life is suffering and' no. Bad. That's awful and terrible.
It's just shit-tier writing to the point where I could probably come up with a more coherent plot.

Please don't bump the thread when there is only three days left to the necro limit without at least posting an omake or something. Also, just asking when the next chapter comes out(which is what you're doing) is considered rude. It comes when the author is done with it.
As the mods love to point out whenever it's brought up, this is SV, not SB, and SV doesn't have a rule against necroing threads. However, there is also no rule against getting annoyed over it, you just can't take it out on other posters.
This, on the other hand, is very true, even if there is no rule that covers it. It also often times makes an author less likely to post something.

I got bumped this morning after someone rated one of my posts on the 3rd page, back when we were still arguing about cannon size of ultralisks. That was rude too, but I had forgotten about this story because it went radio-silence for awhile. I am in fact not asking about release time, I had an entire conversation with the author on the subject a few pages back. I am checking in to see how he and his drive for writing this is doing.
