Why limit yourself by being a non-bender tho? It's like dropping into harry potter and being a muggle, looking at all the cool and creative stuff that other people can do while you're stuck as regular ol joe. So much of the lore and story of avatar is centered around bending that we are going to be missing.
 
You want to be the underdog that rises from being overestimate and outsmarts the powerful lords don't you Then at least see that we can do it

Because unlike Harry Potter, non-benders aren't forcibly segregated from benders. What's more, by being a non-bender, we got access to special skills that benders generally don't bother with. Sure, Zuko COULD learn Chi Blocking, but he won't, he's a Bender. This allows us to explore stuff we wouldn't explroe as a bender, while still being able to explore the bender stuff.

I don't consider it spamming. I gave two people a headsup, the prior voting for a largely identical plan, the latter of which explicitly said he'd switch his vote if it became a tie.

A bender CAN, but when you can move boulders why would you learn to shoot a bow and arrow?

It's perfectly valid to enjoy being a Bender, it is fun, but some people prefer to try something else out. And thus we all vote accordingly.

Hence why I said you and the Others. You are not the only one who has done it.
We get it, you think playing as a Non-Bender would be cooler. Perfectly valid Standpoint. But you, @Whenyouseeyou and Others have said so over and over and over again already. You have made your Point. I know you probably don't intend this, and maybe it's just me, but this constant pushing just comes off to me like trying to Peer-Pressure others into Voting for your Plan.

Pretty good, but you see how often he uses those? Almost never, almost only when he's choosing to NOT use his fire bending. Him being a fire-bender is stopping him from being his awesome Blue Spirit self, he is only being the awesome blue-spirit when he's actively and deliberately NOT-firebending.

And now imagine how good he could have been if he just never had firebending, period. If all he had was the swords, and all the time he spent training fire-bending he spent training his Blue-Spirit skills.

That's only if you set it up as Bender vs Non-Bender, which I think rather unfairly stacks the deck. Water is as different from Fire, as they are both from Non-Bending. There's 5 distinct playstyles here, not two.

That said, if someone wants bender badly enough to switch their vote to support a less-favored-but-still-bending plan, that is within their prerogative.


Edit : This is one of the advantage of Approval Voting. The ability to vote for multiple plans means you don't have to worry about splitting the vote. If people just want a bender of any type, they can vote for all the bending plans. If they want water specifically, then they can vote for water specifically, without supporting fire or any of the others.

Since being a waterbender isnt gaining traction then ill vote for the fire bender option

@NoxOfUmbra @Mostlyblue im removing my plan, currently its between non benders and firebenders, if you want to play as a bender then you should vote for plan phoenix, cheers.
