High Priests need to be within range of passive effects. So, 3 kilometers of any groups of Followers.
Hmm... Considering that MGs are pretty ubiquitous to my understanding, we should stumble across 600 HPs from just moving around cities. Pretty decent.
Also, making the Senshi Sensor switch to more general energy sense, which it has to do for pretty much everything else, drops it to 100 kilometers in range, with significant loss in fidelity underground. Changing it's specialty could get around this, as could jumping up a tier, but for now, it's limited to 100 km out. Of course, this is still enough that you can probably grid system them out via Kyubey.

Yeah, that 1 million was just to give a round number example, the actual number is closer to 5, given they're sitting at about the middle of their population cycle, meaning about 1000 HPs among the planet's global 7 billion population can be found among them, leaving about 400 free ones in the general population.

Kyubey took a closer look at them when their Sailor Crystals were confirmed, as did Leto. So, yes, thanks to a couple of Puella who go to school nearby. Contacting her is going to be an option next Turn, as Leto is unsure if he can do much in the way of Empoerment without activating her Senshi powers. See, Followers have their Empowerments maintained via the same soul ties that Faith uses, and since Senshi souls are their Crystals...

That's ignoring Aura being explicitly soul-based and Magic having strong ties with Senshi as well.

Radical. I for sure want to crank the sensor radius down to 1-10km to get a feel for the local geomancy and what's up with psi. What's the cost of Geomancy anyway? Like, leylines and feng shui and shit.

Leylines is a 10, Geomancy is a 15. Works like how the Lizardmen in Warhammer Fantasy have it. Geomancy being use of a mystical network to make a machine better than a perpetual motion machine, as you can gain a net benefit. Due to how Star Seeds work, this is conventionally Magic, though any of the energy-based Empowerments could work.

The simplest method to making it happen artificially would be to get Empowerment Domains, Soul, Geomancy, and Leylines high up, let's say 10 apiece, and Empower the relevant Senshi. The close connection would allow for Domains like Qi and Psi to work, despite the obvious issues, say, Jupiter would have with those.

Of course, if a planet either doesn't have a Senshi currently because Galaxia stole their Star Seed, or just doesn't have one like Titan, then you'd need to place Marvels dedicated to it at a significant fraction of the Leyline intersections(Can't remember what they're called, Waypoints?) which would likely need to be tier 2s dedicated to that one thing, or else you'd need a 1 for each energy type. It's one of the benefits of having Mundane high enough time raise your Follower Skill Caps. You can delegate that beyond High Priests with relevant Talents by that point, and Geomancy with high end Empowerment Domains allows for supremely comfortable worlds and massive quality of life and combat strength boosts.

Let them be kids for at least another year or two, eh?

In fact, we may consider limiting growth in general until we have better ability to conceal ourselves; there are apparently lots of nasties out there and we don't want to draw too much attention while we're still young if we can avoid it. 'Don't get greedy' is good advice even for powerful godlings.

Well, I wouldn't want to limit growth, so we could just throw all our faith into stealth domains instead of making our people stronger, or at least not magically stronger. It's not like they can reasonably ask to recieve more power, and we're still giving them impressive stealth capabilities.

Rather than limiting growth as a whole we could slow down one type of growth breatdh as opposed to depth. With breatdh being gaining more followers from new groups or types of people while depth is about strengthening our current followers and position as well as our ability to hide from hostile powers.

Next turn we can get Hide up to 10 pretty easily and 15 with moderately more effort. Then we can buy the first level of Blessing and narrow the number of Blessed from several hundred to nine to increase to potency and duration of a Hide Blessing on all the Senshi. Even without Divinity and Blessing boosting blessings, just dropping that number so far should let the blessing last for two turns.
 
Turn 5 Start
Alright, you were confident that you could start restoring fallen Magical Girls to their Soul Gem state, though you didn't have much in the way of tools to restore their bodies. Something to look into, presumably by improving the Domains like Life and Body, perhaps Healing and Regeneration would also help?

7d100+420= 364+420=784. 244+784= 1028 Followers.

Between your actions and Kyubey having objective proof but this next batch of Followers recruited by Kyubey was much, much more impressive. Not only was it enough to more than triple your total Faith, but you gain even further latitude with your energies, though only a fraction. Apparently, it got more difficult as you gained more from Followers.

+1 Action per Turn. 7d100+420 will not decay below 5d100+50 in total by virtue of large numbers of Followers allowing for rumors to spread.

[ ] Invest Faith in chosen Domain.

Once again, you've unlocked a new talent, though you seem to be missing one of your previous unpicked options. Oh well.

Pick a Legend Perk. Whenever a Deed threshold to gain a Legend Rank is met, you may pick one of a set of Perks. Do note that there is no guarantee a Perk will reappear, and Legend Ranks grow more difficult to obtain with each Rank. Strictly additive, but by the time you hit Rank 20, 50 Deeds will barely be making a dent. Choose carefully.

[ ] First! High Priests gain a permanent boost to their Empowerments methods as if the relevant Domains were 1.25 levels higher. Even when the Domains are effectively maxed out, they'll, for example, have Skill caps of 1725 instead of 1600. Of course, High Priests will never again be more than a tiny fraction of your numbers once you have a significant number of Followers.

[ ] Last! Followers gain a permanent boost to their Empowerments as if the relevant Domain were 1.25 levels higher. Meaning, if they have Aura's 15 Domain benefits, they'll have a Skill Cap of 1625 instead of 1500. Of course, they'll still need Blessings.

[ ] Pure Hearts. Passive purification rate doubled. Applies to mystical and mundane elements. Additionally, larger scope is halved as an issue.

[ ] Empowering. Double the number of Empowered/Blessed from relevant actions. 40 would become 80 and 400 would become 800.

[ ] Do It! Just, Do It!. Gain 1 Action.

You have 8 Actions. They may be spent on just about anything you like, with progress determined by task difficulty and relevant abilities.

Example Actions:

[ ] Attempt Purification of Grief Seeds. This should be reaonsably possible. Kyubey is perfectly willing to let you try, after all. While you can accomplish this in the singular with ease, doing more than a hundred at time will start running into issues from sheer corruption levels.

[ ] Restore Fallen Magical Girls. They're going to need their bodies back at some point. Locked unless Attempt Purification is taken as well. You obviously don't want to give their Witch forms their bodies back.

[ ] Enhance Followers. Empowerments are required to do this, and will influence the form this takes. Known potential Domains for Empowerment: Magic, Qi, Psi, Aura, Essence, Heart, Heroism, Mundane, Wonder. As you have actual Followers besides Miko who aren't Empowered and Domains suited towards Empowerment, this is a much more viable action. Not to mention it will give Kyubey solid evidence when attempting to convince the Magical Girls to join the ranks of your Followers, and you don't currently have anywhere near the spread to manage having an extant Follower everywhere he's 'preaching'. For some reason, most of them don't fully trust him(can't imagine why), so he's had trouble convincing anyone when he is not able to offer much in the way of proof, especially when his explanation of the ritualized prayer you'd recommended on half-memories was fairly dry due to the lack of faith Incubators possessed as a consequence of lack of emotion. Though the takers did notice their armor working a little better in their fights, and some noticed that their tech worked better, even without actual Empowerments. Will generally improve recruitment rolls. Applied to 40 people at once, for the moment.

[ ] Grant Blessings. General buff to rolls for a select group. Can be done to further buff followers. Does not require specific Empowerment Domains. For example, Armor Blessings can boost general durability by virtue of human clothes technically being light armor. Applied to 400 people at once, currently.

[ ] Modify Followers. Can be used to grant enhancements to the body, mind, or soul, alongside any manifestations of energy-based Domains that grant empowerments.

[ ] Create Divine Artifacts. Craft relics for the use of your follower, or acquisition of resources. Domains such as Crafting and Creation will help, but are not strictly necessary. Magic, Qi, and Psi can and will improve the final product, provided you do not decide otherwise.

[ ] Create Marvel. Essentially a super-Artifact. Type is as variable as normal Artifacts. Defaults to 100 points of progress necessary per Tier. Magic, Qi, and Psi will be used to enhance where possible, unless disabled.
-[ ] Request specialist materials off of Kyubey. Raw elements/materials, such as rare metals found only in proximity to Magneto Stars, will be better in most cases unless you have no Domains relevant to the material, in which case there's reason to question why you're trying to use it in the first place.

[ ] Finish Upgrading Staff of Empowerment. 88/100 Progress to tier 2. A Marvel you began in order to somewhat offload the burden of Empowerment onto. With your massive boost in Followers, it may be necessary to upgrade it to stem the tide.

[ ] Investigate Your Environs. Partial knowledge gained lowers the priority of this Action, especially without much in the way of improved seeking abilities.

[ ] Investigate Psi. Something's up with the psychic energy of the universe. You're probably going to want higher Psi and relevant sensory/investigative Domains for this.

[ ] Awaken/Recruit Senshi. Additionally, there was the matter of the Senshi. You weren't really comfortable involving them before they hit double digits, for much the same reasons as Miko, with the added wrinkle that activating their Star Seeds was pretty much guaranteed to be 'louder' than they were now, and you didn't see a way to involve their souls or magic without doing that, given the close ties the two had, and their Star Seeds being their souls.

[ ] Other. As I said, it's really up to you.

AN: Finally figured out what was up! Have to restart the modem, then restart the computer, then disconnect and reconnect the Wi-Fi for the computer, every day or so!

Domains
So I had to fiddle some stuff from the draft plan due to moderately sub-par rolls.
Body 5 is for Restoring Fallen Magical Girls, and Mind 2 is to help with that.
Hide is to make us harder to find and to bless the Senshi with not being detected ever thank you.
Divinity and Souls are just really fucking good.
Time is powerful, it grants bonus AP and will probably boost Divination, amongst who knows how many other things.
Essence and Aura to try and get the Inner World and otherwise help the PMs.
Blessings will let us spread out our stuff farther, with longer duration and more potently.
Faith and Followers should boost recruitment and hopefully make Followers get more out of our other Domains.
Rituals and Runes are really good force multipliers to magic and several other Empowerments, and specifically synergize well with Purification (Purification Rituals, Rune circles to boost the passive purification rate of Grief Seeds, etc), Geomancy (Runes to nudge geomantic flows into more auspicious patterns and general ritual work for stuff like projecting a spell down a leyline or making a sanctum to boost other rituals with auspicious geomancy) and Divination (runes were a classic divination tool and most forms of divination are more ritualistic than burst magic).
Factory to boost the Artifactory.
Divination to boost the Scanner, synergize with Time to investigate shit, better hide from enemy scriers, etc.

Actions
Gotta help those PMs, plus, we may be able to prioritize the High Priest/Greater Blessed ones for yet more growth.
We're gonna be cranking out gear for our Followers for a long time. Staves, that phone project I delayed, probably more.
Upgrading the sensor will help with our various investigations.
Learn more about Empowerments, find out Miko's Talents, Domains, Semblance, etc and get that sweet sweet social link with the high priest.
Hide those MGs (Mcguffin Girls)
Should let us find the Crystal Points, plus good places to set up local bases and possibly some leads on Psi if the contamination is coming from somewhere parallel to realspace.

Hm, well, a multiplier of 0.1 is equivalent to 10 mortal Skill points, meaning a doubling for High Priests is possible at 100, a tripling at 200, and so on, meaning a 2.5 multiplier on High Priests can be mass produced at the 250 mass production a tier 3 factory Wonder is capable of, as discussed here. Improving Crafting, Creation, Production, Replication, and the Marvel/Wonder Domains will lower the threshold. For example, with Wonder and Marvel at tier 3 apiece, it would be mortal Skill equivalents of 120+30(Creation, Crafting, Replication) for a tier 1, 240+30 for a tier 2, so possible as of tier 2.
Actually, since it's doubling at 100, 2.5x would be 150, not 250. Because what the staff is doing is the difference between 1 and 2.5 which is only 1.5. So a Tier 2 Marvelous Factory should be able to make many kinds of staff level artifacts.

  3. Mystic Veils: Items that confound those that act against followers in a certain area (both enemies in an area looking for our followers and followers in that area that are being looked for) (think a pillar that keeps people in the same city from recognizing mystic stuff or recognized by mystic stuff but biased towards our faction)
  4. Blank Body Builder: The other end of the Grief Seed problem that we should do if we get the domains for it. It would also build off the Transformation Trinkets as the body would change depending on the Soul Gem.

  5. Integrity: To stop other factions from taking our stuff and messing with our followers (looking at 40k chaos and the Dark Kingdom right now) and to stop our followers from getting mundane corruption like knocking over convenience stores or stealing cars.

I'm feeling pretty good about seeing what Kyubey and our followers can do here. With my build, they'll have Rituals to boost their pre-existing Purification Rituals and Runes to set up circles to keep the rituals going. Quite possibly not enough without our input but I'm curious what they can do.

Of note, Essence, Heroism, Aura, Psi and Heart all have or boost personal specialties. We can probably integrate this into the smartphone project I'm workshopping.

We might be able to outsource some of this to our Followers. MG regeneration can already regrow a crazy amount of stuff and with Body 5, I'd bet re-embodying will be much simpler. We might want to grab a fair few ranks in Healing and Restoration though.

Also note that Witches are more than just Griefed Puella Magi. They're also magic users who invoke nature and gods to work subtle but potent stuff. Synergizes with a lot of our stuff and we can teach it to any non-PMs we recruit.

By my calculation, 570 Faith to hid Hide 15 which I'm pretty sure is the max.

Not having done the math myself yet, I did want to make sure people are remembering that the rate at which upgrading domains increases in expense increases every 5 levels.
 
400 would become 200.
800. Anyway, adding Pure Hearts to the plan. Purification has a lot of uses, even outside of breaking down magical corruption. You can purify ores into metals, purify undifferentiated mana into elemental strains, purify psionic energy of wills not your own to convert ambience into personal without the risk of ego contamination. All sorts of good shit.
