So Babette didn't mention it at all at any point? Even when she was talking to that old person?
She might have said something about the Brotherhood when talking to Olava, yes. However:
... The woman says something to Babette, and the vampire responds - a little sullenly, you think. You debate revealing yourself, decide against it, and are about to leave when you hear Babette say something about Mephala and Sithis, and you jerk back into the building. The woman goes pale and shivers. You frown, wondering whether Babette is getting advice or reporting in - and whether or not you should keep listening, but the fact that you can't understand them leads to the decision to continue your scavenging.
...
Flan could not understand them at that point, and her memory isn't good enough to quote half-heard sentences in a language she doesn't know from several days ago.

Aventus's house apparently still has an assassin summoning ritual set up, so that might be interesting to see. We could also go and test Agito's claim of Lutecia's self-sufficiency by stalking her and trying to snipe her with snowballs. After that we could get the whole gang together to go check out this Curiosity House; I want to see what passes for 'weird' in a place with magic and giant cat people.

We could also talk to Aventus about what makes this orphanage lady bad enough that he'd want to send assassins after her, and how exactly that works. Is this some kind of magical thing involving a centuries-old, telepathic corpse, or did he just leave a note and a headless chicken nailed to his door frame and now he's waiting for an assassin to show up to show up in person?

[X] Ancient Rituals to summon a Brotherhood of Assassins? Might be worth a visit.
-[X] Get directions from Lutecia to the child's house.

[X] Take Lutecia to the House of Curiosities.
- [X] Tomorrow, if you have time and weather permits.

Something a little more in character. Lutecia is fine at present, so Flan showing up would only muck things up.

[x] Skip to leaving Windhelm

Let the Dragonborn take care of killing the crazed serial killer responsible for the deaths of innocent maidens. Unless there is good loot in there that I can't remember.

Votes are not locked.

However, the vote in red does not work.

Getting EXACT words from last update:
[X] Trying to contact Assassins to kill someone? How? Might be worth killing some time to look at.
-[X] Get directions from Lutecia to the child's house.
@McPoopin changed it to EXACT wording permissable by last update, considering She told us as little as possible.

[X] Take Lutecia to the House of Curiosities.
- [X] Tomorrow, if you have time and weather permits.

I will have that damn spoon.

There is still a nonzero possibility that Lutecia won't come back(kidnapped/etc) from the Brotherhood House.
That vote assumes afterwards, she will be there and we will have enough time.
She probably will come back, but after some things in this quest...

Oh, that's right, I knew there was a point to trying to get to her right now. 6am is not a good time to be thinking about this stuff.

[X] Take Lutecia to the House of Curiosities.
- [X] Right now. Break in if necessary.

I'm sure there's nothing interesting in that kid's dumb house anyway.

Might need to add
--[X] Get directions from Agito/Lutecia
or else we may wander around and be 'too late', if it is time-sensitive.

If we're going to ditch out on Aventus's house altogether then we might as well get Lutecia to teleport back now.

[X] Ask Lutecia to teleport back. The kid can find someone else to make sure he turned the stove off.
[X] Take Lutecia and Agito to the House of Curiosities.
- [X] Right now. Break in if necessary.

We should look at the house because 'Little Sithis'/etc and because it might be interesting. :)

... Guys, Flan already knows where Calixto's is:
...
Your first order of business is to find that Calixto's place - Sedris said it was to the east, even wrote down the name so you'd recognize the sign - so you float along above the streets, keeping to the outside wall. You're glad to be in this city, in its close and mazelike streets with so much stone and brick. Even if you aren't familiar with some of the ornamentation, you can tell that this is a good city, one that your sister would probably be comfortable with as well. You follow the wall for a while, then frown as you reach some steps heading down and turn around. You passed it … ah! You thought there'd be a bigger sign, or at least more prominently displayed. You make a note of the location and trace your steps back to the inn, weaving back a few times to find the best route for moving on foot. That done, you turn to the west, just exploring without a real goal in mind. You seem to be in another residential area, heavily built-up and crushed together, but once you pass through it you reach the market district. Smaller than Whiterun's … then again, they probably do a lot of merchant-work at the dock.
...

Man, you guys are really paranoid. We have basically no information that where she's going to is a massive hive of assassins, nor do I think it'd be very good for Flan's relationship with Lutecia if she shows that she can't even trust Lu to do something like this on her own. She's not a helpless child, you know. That girl has a summon that can fight on par with a dragon right there with her. Have a little faith.

To be fair, I wanted to go to the house mostly to look at it, the fact that Lutecia might be in danger is a possibility but not as urgent as breaking the door down/etc.
More to get over there soon.

[X] Trying to contact Assassins to kill someone? How? Might be worth killing some time to look at.
-[X] Lutecia might get into trouble if said Assassins do appear in the house, you should go now.
--[X] Get directions from Agito/Lutecia to the child's house.
@McPoopin , changed vote again.

I kind of want to get into the Curiosity House at night so that we can play with all the stuff there without getting kicked out. Having thought about it a bit though, it's possible that Calixto might show up at some point, which is nice because we would get to be accidentally heroic when we pop his head off, but if we've got others with us then they might get sneak attacked, and I don't know how well they can handle getting stabbed in the back. Thing is, though, where's the fun in going to a place like that alone?

The ideal night in my mind is:
-Go to Aventus's and scare the shit out of chat with an assassin.
-Lutecia doesn't get murdered in the process.
-Break into the Calixto's Curiosity House and play with his exhibits.
-Calixto comes home and stabs us in the face while laughing like a super villain. We beat him to death with Ysgramor's Soup Spoon.
-Lutecia doesn't get murdered in the process.
-We loot the place and find a parasol made from Mehrunes Dagon's toe (harvested after the Oblivion crisis).
-The city later finds evidence that Calixto is the Butcher while investigating his murder, and holds a festival to honour the brave, selfless soul who risked their life to stop this heinous monster.
-We've left town by now so there's no need to worry about Lutecia getting murdered in the process.

So, how would I word that as a vote?

Edit: Is there anything I should be doing to outdated votes to make it easier to count the current one?
