Indefinite usage. That's why the DLC breaks the game's intended balance: they can be spammed freely for resources. Without DLC, you're forced to spam Reeking Boxes to grind, which is suboptimal.

Especially if you're not playing on Casual. While I may have made shameless use of save-scumming in the GBA Fire Emblem games it kind of sucks the fun out of the game doing it that way
Which is why I love casual mode even if I tend to play conservatively and not lose people.

Eugenics was the furthest thing from my mind. Most of the pairings were because I thought they worked well together. I was entirely unaware that the characters would marry at S, or that they would even have children based off their stats.
When Chrom proposed to my unit, I was like, "What."

Not quite. You can then marry a strength-asset Robin to Gerome to get a Morgan that's a quintessential example of "Muscles are Meaningless".

I actually paired Frederick and Sumia together because Sumia was vulnerable, but was a Pegasus Knight. Frederick was my most powerful unit, so Sumia was merely a vehicle to carry Fred into combat.
I, uh, I'm not sure how this happened, but Frederick became one of my weakest units, and Sumia surpassed him by leaps and bounds.

well duh, he's an early promoted unit with lowered XP gain. Sumia, by comparison is a low level unit with solid growths. She levels faster, and has more levels to go through.

Nothing really. The Einherjars are basically avatars with various Asset/Flaws and some(like Ike(Aether), Marth(Aptitude and Rightful King), and Micaiah(Shadowgift)) have abilities that your avatar will never get. But without supports, their pairups are much less powerful and double-attacks and dual-guards are much less common.
