One way or another, it's time to stop beating g around the bush. This is now the second time we've been called a Doll. It also sorta sounds like we may have had that girl's soul stuffed into us to act as a basis for our pseudo-personality. One way or another though, these people have to know something

[] "Do you know who I am..? Do you know what I am?"

Holding his hand, it kept your entire will to keep your hand from breaking his. Hans remained calm regardless as you looked him in the eye as sweat slid down your cheek. You could feel your entire body shaking but you quashed the text which filled up your vision. You held on to your own mind as you managed not to crush his hand.

Parting your lips, you looked up to speak, "Do you know who I am..?"

Hans' eyes widened at that. Your strained voice was different from the one you had been using. This was more shrill and raspy like nails on chalkboard. It took much of your willpower to not hurt him but there was nothing more that you wanted than to crush his neck right here.

"Do you know what I am?" You hissed as you found your heart beating faster and faster.

Hans closed his eyes before placing his other hand over yours. He slowly pulled away from you before replying, "You're a Doll. Sculpted to be my murderer."

So it's true then. You stared at him before he placed a hand on your cheek.

"I thought I broke you last time but it seemed that you were only damaged. To think a mindless Doll would be able to break out of that Bounded Field," Hans said as he took a step back from you, "It seems like the Main Family has gotten their hands filthy to create you."

"I... Don't understand," you breathed as you held your chest.

"You don't that's why you're innocent. Had you been another mindless Doll I would have destroyed you on the spot," Hans said as he closed his eyes. He tapped his cane and there was a rush of prana that passed through you, robbing you of the pain in your chest.

He smiled once relief filled your expression before you looked at him. You blinked and grimaced as the phantom pain vanished.

"I'll need to change my plans. I'll leave you for last. Stay out of my way or assist me and I'll spare your life," Hans said as he limped to the front door.

"Why?" You said as you shot up to your feet.

"Simple. It's not a feeling most Magi would be familiar with. But I don't like the idea of fighting a person with my sister's face," Hans said with a sad smile. He then leaned on the door to rest before adding, "If I were you, I'd bow out now. If you want to relish that newfound humanity of yours, you'd forfeit before the other Masters get you. Goodbye, Miss Brie. Until next time."

Hans moved and walked out of the door. You watched him go with a hard look on your face before strength left your limbs. You fell down and hit the floor as you felt like you were breaking apart inside. He was gone. Gone and you let him get away.

Brother.

A Doll.

You were made... To kill him?

You let out a shaky breath as the cold wooden floor of the cabin was felt upon your cheek. You grit your teeth as you hissed and recalled...

Main Family. Is that why he was referred as Blood Traitor? What was he trying to do? You closed your eyes just as a pair of boots came into your vision.

.....
....
...

You were lying on something soft, the dark figure of someone looking down on you filling your vision. You couldn't see well... You reached out with a weak voice.

"Rider..." You breathed before you blinked and saw that it was Sarah looking down at you.

"No. It is me," Sarah said as she let you rest your head on her lap, "Finally awake, girl?"

You stared at her for a moment before going limp, "So... Did you see that?"

"Yes. I did," Sarah replied with a nod before you tried to get up. Her hand fell on your shoulder and kept you down.

What's this deja vu?

"So he's not ordering you to kill me, Miss Servant?" You murmured with a narrowed look.

"For one, no. I am not his Servant. Merely an advisor for the crusade he wishes to undertake," Sarah said as she stroked your head, "I also told you, yes? I had my own reasons for being here."

"A reason strong enough to walk into a farce of a Grail War and leaving your country behind?" You asked with a frown.

"Indeed," Sarah said as she closed her eyes before opening them. You watched as her purple eyes turned blood red.

Oh. That's a thing.

"Normally, I would not bother with war itself. But that man is smart in which he will force my hand to fight should our objectives align," Sarah said as she stared at her fireplace, "It may also make it seem I am his Servant to hide the one he had truly summoned."

"I see," you said as you sighed.

"You are lighter now, Child. But I must ask, how does it feel being faced with your true nature?" Sarah questioned you with a firm and serious tone.

"I... Don't know," you breathed as you grimaced. You closed your eyes and placed your wrist over them, "I don't know. I... It's a lot to take in."

"Still knowing this, does this change anything?" Sarah asked you with a raised eyebrow.

"No. It changes nothing. I want to live. I'm not going to die in this stupid war," you grit your teeth as you opened your eyes.

"Good. That is good to hear," Sarah agreed with a small smile-

BOOM

There was an explosion just outside the cabin. A heartbeat later the door was blown open and Medb was standing there with Caladbolg in her hand.

"Brie?! Did they take your organs yet?!" Rider screeched before she found you.

Fortunately you shot up once she entered and she found you sitting beside Sarah. Her eyes narrowed and before she moved to swing her spiral sword.

Sarah reacted as a crimson spear manifested and blocked the blow. The two women stared each other down in a moment before breaking apart.

"This is why I keep those runes," Sarah sighed as she lowered her spear.

"Sure does smell like old people here. How come you haven't crumbled and turned to ash, Old Hag," Medb spat as she tightened her grip on her sword and riding crop.

"Rider please!" You tried squeaking before she turned towards you.

"I'm going to smack you later for ignoring me," Medb threatened before facing Sarah, "But first I'm going to teach this Hag not to touch my stuff!"

"You lack discipline, you child. I doubt you can scratch me," Sarah said with a smirk, "Still having bad luck with men?"

"That's it! I'll blow you away!" Rider snarled with a strained smile. A vein looked like it was going to pop while Caladbolg started to spin.

Sarah glanced at you and then at the dining table. There was still some cheese dip left from your meal earlier.

[] Grab the cheese dip and throw it at Rider. Hopefully she doesn't die from it.
[] "Sarah, can you go easy on her? She won't listen!"

I shall stand alone against the tide of cheese throwers that will no doubt be spawned from this vote.

Tempted to go for tbe cheese but I get the feeling it's going to result in minus Medb points.

Is there a spray bottle nearby? Can we stunt one into the scene?

...all we are is a broken doll that's lost its purpose.

That's...liberating.

I wonder if we'll develop a wish of our own over the course of this war.

I detest the usual goal of "become human", but it would be good to...stabilize, ourself

[X] Tackle Medb. "No, Rider no! Bad kitty! Calm down! Calm down, damn it!"

Because yes

Let it be revealed to Scathach that we have tamed a queen!

The cheese is a step too far.

But just to be clear... I think we aren't backing out of this war.

We have a wish too.

Hm, do we? At the moment our goal is to survive, and frankly the best way to do that is to step out. Of course, we want to led Medb fulfill her wish, but at the moment she's the main reason we're even fighting in this HGW.

Now in the future? Yeah I can see us getting a wish. Maybe to be human or free of our programming? We have time to figure it out.
