But that's only if you butterfly things away by not dealing with a certain Master.
Ah, hard choices... such is the Nasuverse.
Richard. The guy that in the Nasuverse, teamed up with Saladin and Hassan to kill Dead Apostle's. Along with a bunch of random adventures.
If you guys had taken the Illya option, there would likely have been a different Caster servant of the 'Oh Shit' variety, and Arturia would have more chances of being butterflied away.
But yeah, I'm still content with how things are going, especially with Shirou being the "muscle"/Mr. Kuzuki analogue while Medea Lily becomes the.... uh, Medea analogue.

Yeah, the sad truth is that "Knight of Honor" was actually the result of a translator just barely reading the katakana wrong, and then nobody ever bothering to double check because the name makes sense and the alternative is really horrible Engrish.

Darn, I've tried my best but my best just wasn't good enough.
Tried to get that small shot of Medea in the FGO Kara no Kyoukai crossover CM, but I couldn't get a good shot no matter how much I slow the video down.
Ah well, at least I got Medea from the Prisma Illya Crossover with FGO.
I have no regrets in using up my time like that.
Anyway, sleep time in my timezone... a handful of hours ago.

Still, Despite the fact that this is the Nice!Medea. We should probably remember that Medea is still.... Well, Medea.
Medea lily was the one that ripped out a demon's god's heart so she could make infinitely regenerating pancakes after all.
Medea trying to be helpful can be terrifying indeed.

Fate/Kaleid Emiya: From Father to Son, Magus Killer Legacy
It was cathartic to open up to that extent. You've always kept others at an arm's length due to your secrets, as Sakura had discerned back then, and also because you didn't want to burden others with your own responsibilities.
But Medea understood. She didn't seem burdened by such a thing after everything was said and done with.
At least, you think it was so.
But you were wrong when it came to Sakura, so it might be best to work off the assumption that you can't understand girls at all.
Ah! It looks like the crystal ball Mystic Code is done! Medea is setting it up between us as we sat down.
She healed you with Pain Breaker once again after you tested your ability to use your Reality Marble a second time.
The burning sensation through your circuits were lessened this time compared with the last time you used Unlimited Blade Works.
'Not yet… you still have a long way to go.'
Magecraft beyond your ability.
It was like knowing the perfect way through an obstacle course yet lacking the ability to finish it with the best time.
Yet, every time you try to achieve that best time, your time would get worse as your body wasn't ready for such a feat.
If it's just Broken Phantasms, that was fine enough if you rested.
But using Unlimited Blade Works after a grueling gauntlet of fights that you won by the skin of your teeth and then tracing two Divine Constructs within the Reality Marble where the prana costs are increased to greater heights?
You were starting to turn into a black grandpa.
Just like EMIYA who became so miserable that the stress turned his hair white and made him black.
That was exaggerating things by a good degree.
You never went that far from when you first saw your reflection in Atrum's glass panels on your arrival thanks to Medea's Pain Breaker which fixed the physical deterioration and colouration of overusing your Tracing.
That's good. You vague recalled that there was a Kanshou and Bakuya bastardized gun-blade (which is awesome) that EMIYA had shoddily copied over to your Reality Marble that belonged to an even blacker version of yourself.
Note to self: Stay the hell away from Kiara Sessyoin
"And there we go, is this your home?" Medea asked as she she mentally adjusted the crystal ball to show an old-fashioned Japanese home with a large garden.
"Yeah, that looks like it. Anyone staying in there?" You confirmed, and she zoomed in to a familiar shed.
Your counterpart was asleep on the floor with light bulbs and pipes all around him.
Magecraft practice.
Typical Shirou Emiya.
There were no other people living in the house, so no Miyu then.
Kiritsugu was either out somewhere or he had died as well.
"Let's call it a night then. We could do with some sleep." You yawned before starting to set out the futons.
"Go ahead Shirou. I'm just going to the cavern of the Greater Grail right below to check up on things, is that alright Shirou?" Medea looked somewhat insistent on it.
She was also insistent that you get some sleep and not follow her despite your urge to make sure she's safe.
"Fine… just stay safe and don't work too hard, alright?"
14th January 2004
You think you must have been under some sleep spell because that was one of the most restful nights of your life.
Looking up, you see some charm of some sort hanging on the ceiling.
What time is it? There's a clock in the room and… it's almost noon.
It can't be helped.
You tried to get up, only to feel something warm and soft wrapped around your arm.
Pulling up the futon in your free arm, your sight was filled with lavender purple.
Her hair and her slightly translucent dress were of similar shades of lavender purple, mostly of the lighter variety.
… You note that you need to talk with Medea about the way she dresses at some point.
Her dress is way too short, and the only thing that is seriously covering her front is ... well... it may be long but it shows off way too much of her legs.
If Miyu were to wear something similar to that, big brother here would need to lecture her a little.
Utilizing one of your 108 Big Brother skills, you slipped your hand out of her grasp without waking her up.
After freshening up, you went to the kitchen and noticed some of the monks preparing to make themselves lunch.
You were extremely insistent on alleviating their work load.
In other words, you used the Kiritsugu glare and took over the kitchen.
Kiritsugu was never able to cook well, and Miyu could be a harsh critic when it came to food since you've spoiled her so much.
That was why mastering the domestic skill called 'Cooking' was a necessary endeavor.
This was my only path.
My whole life was Unlimited Blade Woks.
At any rate, it turned out good enough that the monks were very happy about it. For some reason, they made it sound like they haven't eaten luxuriously in awhile.
On a side note, you heard them talking about some gas leak (called it) happening somewhere at the edge of Fuyuki City, near the docks.
You made some lunch for yourself and Medea.
As usual, she was cheerful and grateful for the food. Although she was rather insistent on getting her turn to cook.
Well... it isn't your kitchen so you have no right to stop her. A princess's cooking huh...
While you asked what she found out last night, she mentioned that two Servants were already summoned.
Specifically Berserker and Lancer.
Ah... those two were one of the most deadliest ones you had to fight.
Berserker would have crushed you with a single hit if it had connected directly. He was hard to get around, but you had plenty of Noble Phantasm's to use against his God Hand and several ways to kill him using the same Noble Phantasm through clever use of Alteration and Reinforcement.
Lancer was a huge pain in the ass with his Protection from Arrows skill literally deflecting everything shot at him. Still, you managed to kill Lancer with an opening provided by the Trap of Argalia.
You made sure to elaborate on the two battles since you wanted Medea to understand that she should never fight a Servant of those classes... or any classes at all if possible.
Well, she was alright for the most part with supporting you while keeping herself hidden until she needed to provide huge amounts of help.
She could cloak herself by bending light or making illusions while casting a powerful Reinforcement on you along with a spell that made your skin as hard as Heracles's skin.
She would know. She was an Argonaut (technically) for a time along with Heracles, Jason, Atalanta, and the others.
As for what else she found out about the Grail last night, well, she needed to investigate more to make heads or tails about some theories first.
We did a quick test run with her Reinforcement spell, and we were astonished to say the least, when it raised your parameters like crazy.
You used the term parameters because Caster learnt that you somehow have pieces of the Archer and Caster class containers attached to you spiritually, which allowed her to use a spell she made tailored from analyzing the Grail to see the parameters of a Master as if they were a Servant. It was likely some after effect of using the Class Card so long and your arrival here.
Medea hypothesized that it was because my body was 90% physical with the spiritual parts helping me reach EMIYA's peak ability somehow. As such, when the spell saturated my body with prana in addition to Medea's own additional conceptual effects, you managed to reap nearly all of its benefits that couldn't always be applied to a spiritual being like a Servant.
A Servant wouldn't reap much from normal reinforcement unless only a certain 'aspect' was reinforced to its peak, as a Servant's body is made out of Ether, it meant that prana wouldn't truly improve it.
Or so she says.
At this point, the other intricacies were lost on you as you weren't some Magus from the Age of Gods.
After lunch and making some plans, she fixed and altered your clothes slightly before going into spirit form as you stealthily made your way to the Emiya Residence.
It took an hour to reach there at normal human running speed, but you didn't want to attract any attention before Medea makes some items to conceal us better.
... This is it.
You stepped into the boundary field, into your home and... felt welcome.
"... I'm home."
Somehow, saying those words feel wrong.
Ah... it's because Miyu isn't here.
It doesn't feel like home, despite the warm and calming feeling of the boundary field recognizing you as if you were this world's Shirou Emiya.
"Come on in, Caster."
It was better to use the official titles so that we won't give our names away to anyone that might be a Magus or Servant outside our base of operations.
"Excuse me." She must have picked up the Japanese way of entering a residence from the Grail, you supposed.
You first checked around the house to confirm a few things.
"Kiritsugu has passed away years ago."
"How do you know that?"
"His cigarette ash tray hasn't been used in years. He wouldn't quit smoking even if it killed him."
"Ah, that reminds me of someone for some reason..."
You wouldn't want to be recognized so easily so you took a bit of Kiritsugu's old clothes from his room before putting everything back in it's place discreetly.
Medea later used a bit of magic to return the dust back to where it belongs before making sure the residual prana was all gone.
You always had a keen nose for magecraft, as such, you made sure that you wouldn't get caught out by yourself.
Quickly changing your clothes in the bathroom to Kiritsugu's old clothes, making sure you looked completely different from what a high school student is expected to look like (as you wouldn't want to be stopped by the police mistaking you for a truant), you later needed Medea's help to use Alteration to make them fit you perfectly.
Finally, we made our way to the shed.
You had the sinking suspicion that this Shirou hasn't been all that successful with the ratio of broken practice materials far exceeding your own... seven years ago.
Moving some objects around, you push against a floorboard in the back of the shed, revealing a secret compartment containing a suitcase and one of Kiritsugu's custom trench coats with extra pockets on the inside.
The suitcase hasn't been touched for years.
And judging by the dust and marks, it was likely that this Shirou had no part in maintaining Kiritsugu's equipment.
Thankfully, you have a Magus from the Age of Gods who have spells that could fix even complex things to it's optimal condition easily.
The password for the suitcase was different than the one back at your world, but nothing a use of Structural Analysis couldn't find out.
"Shi- I mean, Master? What's so special about that gun?"
"It's not necessarily the gun that is special. It is both the gun and the Origin Bullets that made the Magus Killer who he was."
"Origin Bullets?"
Taking out a .30-06 Springfield bullet, you held it up for Medea between your thumb and index finger.
"Kiritsugu had a dual origin, Severing and Binding. These bullets contain his ribs being grounded into dust and through some magecraft, his soul and origin is preserved and ready to be actualized. Severing and Binding is different from the idea of "destruction and rebirth." There is no chance of "recovery" in the case of binding, such as a string being cut and connected back together by tying the two pieces. While it is once again whole, there is forever an irreversible "corruption" in the form of a change in thickness where the knot it tied. That is... the type of man Kiritsugu Emiya was. The more he tried, the worse something became..."
"That's... that's horrible."
"Yeah... but, Kiritsugu's Origin Bullets are perhaps one of the most effective Anti-Thaumaturgy Mystic Code when used on a Magus."
"Why would it be so powerful against a magus?"
"Imagine what would happen if such a thing actualized against a Magus's Magic Circuits. On second thought, don't imagine."
You regretted explaining it in such a way because Medea looked properly horrified at the gun and bullets you were carrying.
... It only took a few minutes to quickly get the gun into working condition, apparently in this world, Kiritsugu must have hired someone to put some kind of preservation concept within the inside of the suitcase.
He probably never needed to do it in your world since you were there to do it for him.
This only solidified the idea that this world's Shirou either did not know or did not embrace Kiritsugu's past as the Magus Killer.
Perhaps this Shirou was better off that way.
17 Origin Bullets and another 25 .30-06 Springfield bullets.
It's not enough to fight a war, but enough to use against a Magus's mysteries.
Come to think of it, EMIYA did remember something about some other version of himself putting his own Origin into a bullet which made swords sprout out of the target.
EMIYA did have rather weird adventures, but they seem to be at the back of EMIYA's mind for some reason, as if they were suppressed as you saw him behaving in his capacity as a Counter Guardian in a way that doesn't fit the stranger adventures.
By the time you left the Emiya Residence, a memory of EMIYA pops up where he once dressed as our mutual father.
School time was up, and while it was likely that this Shirou was stuck in Archery practice, you weren't going to stay here any longer.
For the day, you and Medea decided to go... (Pick two options, choices will influence events later on)
